When peoples understanding of the Creator is not rooted in Scripture (and not just reading it but fully understanding it as a whole) they can have misunderstandings of the facts, and thus be led to false conclusions...

I know its hard to dedicate much time to true deep study with Jerry Springer on TV, but hey, we are going to seek what we really want.

(This is honestly not aimed at any one here, this is an observation of the things I see in life NOT on the net)

I agree to this comment very much so.

Lol though I have to add for honesty's sake that I have been a fan of the Jerry Springer Show since about 2nd grade (though now that I think of it I haven't watched Jerry for nearly a year.)

The Spirit of Yahweh changes us!

I cant watch not just half of the stuff but I cant watch any of the movies, music anything anymore, I see it for what it is now. Thank Yahweh!

You know a magicians staff is made out of holly wood? The social architects know exactly what they are doing.

I did not know that, though I have been pretty suspicious of Hollywood (the movie industry) for some time now, even before starting my journey to Christianity.

Heh I know what you mean by you can't watch half that stuff, and I feel myself going the route of not being able to watch any of it. I still watch a bit of TV from time to time, but for the past two years I just cannot stomach much TV anymore outside of the News (and even that sometimes is unpalatable.) And especially with music too, though to be fair I never cared much for contemporary music to begin with, always preferred the older stuff moreso. As for movies, I've pretty much given up on those, I'll watch a maybe two or three times a year (though I do still enjoy documentaries quite a bit.)

Hi Lacey,

Love you. :)

In Christ Jesus
Chris
Hi Lacey,

What you have rejected is not God,
or the Lord Jesus Christ His Son,
but TRADITION.
Your responses show that you do believe in God.
Your responses show that you do believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
What you reject is the traditionally held belief in Hell as a place of eternal, conscious punishment.
You are right to do so.

Praise God!

:)

Belief requires tangible evidence, faith requires humility. Faith and humility facilitate belief as God draws close to those who draw close to Him.
Hello
man requires tangible evidence,But not GOD.

I used to be scared all the time that no matter how much i repented id still go to hell....well I'm agnostic now.....i started to think logically if there is a God and I'm his child and he loves me more than my earthly parents, a love that is so deep it could fill infinite oceans.....than Howe could he let me go to hell? While you are made in His image, you are not His child UNTIL you become spiritually born anew...born again through Jesus Christ. Confess your sin and ASK Jesus to become your Lord and Savior. Now before you say well he gave you a choice, try to humor me for a minute. Yes in the Bible it does teach that more i won't go into the history and how hell was added as a way to does people, just think logically.....if anyone you loved did you wrong....didn't believe in you....and so on.....could you really let them burn in fire????? Don't say that He gave us a choice? Really? So we NEGATE a HUGE part of His character so you can have things your own way??
did you wrong? didn't believe in you? Well that would not be much of a relationship would it? Pretty one-sided. God is not into one-sided relationships and why should He be? Why would ANYONE pursue anyone else when the other person has made it clear that they do not want a relationship? Rather pointless!!
And if you answer no.....how can a God who has infinite love not stop that.....but a person of inferior love would...... ponder on that. This sentence makes no sense. I mean no disrespect, but why do we need hell when life is do hard
Why do we need hell? Because we NEED that option!! IF we only have Heaven, then there can be NO REAL LOVE. We would not, COULD NOT, ever choose to do anything other than HIS WILL. We would be nothing more that breathing robots and you cannot have relationships with robots. But He gives us our own will. WE get to choose...HIM and Heaven ...or not. And NOT IS HELL. It is the doing things OWN WAY, rather than His. It is putting ourselves above all else. No love there! No relationship!
He came to earth and shed His own blood to pay the price of our sins so that we could CHOOSE to accept His great love and sacrifice AS THAT PAYMENT. Upon doing so, then a person becomes a part of the Kingdom of Heaven. Choose to not, and you CHOOSE to be a member of the kingdom of darkness...forever isolated from anything and everyone that you ever loved....FOREVER. You will be forgotten by everyone that every knew you while you were on the earth, yet you won't forget those you loved; utter loneliness, utter darkness, utter pain (physical, emotional or mental...does it matter?). He really does not ask much of us at all. He asks only ONE thing: to LOVE HIM. And if you truly...TRULY LOVE HIM, obedience is a very small piece of cake. IT IS THAT SIMPLE.

After reading all of lacey's post during her time in CC, it is pretty clear she is ignorant and is for nothing but to cause trouble... Really I am glad she is gone trying to make fools out of everyone is not going to be as fun as she thinks.

What came to conclusion is her lack of proper spelling really intrigued me, as like she must be a troll or she must be on the phone.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Jesus descend into hell after He died on the cross?

Because God is infinite Justice...

Let's only talk logic... Is it just to let a crime go unpunished?

Edit: let me heighten the sense for justice... Is it just to let a rappest away scotch free... Or let Hitler live after he killed so many...
No one is going to get away with anything, but you do not know what "hell" is - to send anyone to, or to deflect anyone from.
No one can judge what is to become of a person once they die. We can judge their behavior while here on earth. I would have personally put a bullet in Hitler's head if I had the chance, but that is only dispatching him from this earth to await what his final judgement will be and that will not be eternal fire and torture. The lake of fire is a one time event, at the end of the millennium, where all that follow Satan will be utterly destroyed, then the lake will be sealed over. One cannot have paradise with screams of torture in the background.

He ascended, for the so called hell is the gulf where the rich man found himself in. Christ released all those imprisoned there, but they will need to return for the millennium. They will return with Christ and their number will be so great it will appear as though they are "Clouds". Likened to clouds of locusts for they are so many. But each will be given a chance, through works to obtain salvation. You may want to read the last 8 or 9 chapters of Ezekiel. Those have more to do with the millennial period than any other book of the Bible, including Revelation.

Thanks. My point was that if Jesus had went to hell and preached to the people there, wouldn't that mean that there is a hell, since this person apparently doesn't believe in such a place.

When you believe but have no evidence to prove it

Your definition is not the Lord's:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

God doesn't put anyone in hell, we do by are choices! and he gives us a choice to make. What is the purpose of him going to the cross if it is still okay to sin. I would rethink your evaluation .

Good point. If there isn't hell then why Jesus die on the cross Every body go to heaven, let rob the bank, and if you lift in the third world country corrupt is an easy way to make a money.

Christ said that his sheep have eternal life and the none would perish and that no man can pluck them out of his hand.
He knows if you are one of His sheep, regardless of what you may believe. Listen....for He knows His sheep and they hear His voice and follow Him. Listen, and hear, He loves you and He shall never let you go. Even if you let Him go, He shall tighten His grasp, so that you do not escape. No matter where you go, He knows where you are. If you are His, you will never be lost.
