It is easy to get confused if you are looking at scripture through the eyes of a set doctrine. God gave all his power and authority to Christ but Christ will give that power back to God in the end. He came from God and goes back to God
Luke 1:32-33 (NASB)
[SUP]32 [/SUP] "He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;
[SUP]33 [/SUP] and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end."

You fail to consider that Christ is both MAN and GOD. AND the Holy Spirit is Both Spirit and GOD. How many GODs? A grand total of ONE!

Luke 12:8-10 (NASB)
8 "And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also before the angels of God;
9 but he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
10 "And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him.
I fail to consider?....what/...To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

That is the WORD...and he lived without sin.....so we have no excuse, because we born of him to walk in newness of life.

To the one who does not give Jesus power and authority over their life, he is not their Lord.
I completely disagree with that. Though there are people that do not currently acknowledge Jesus is Lord. Jesus IS Lord. Every knee will bow, and every tounge will confess. Every single one. Those who have already passed away, those of us living, and those of us who have not yet been born.

New, sometimes I think you say things just to get us going, to see if we really know our Bibles.

Now let's see if we are finally on the same page:

John 1:1-2 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] In the beginning was the Word {The Pre-Incarnate Christ}, and the Word was with God, and the Word {The Pre-Incarnate Christ} was God.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] He {The Pre-Incarnate Christ} was in the beginning with God.

John 1:14 (NASB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] And the Word {The Pre-Incarnate Christ} became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Let's see if He's still the Lord... :)

And yet He lived a sinless life. What does it tell us?

Yes
[SUP] [/SUP] And the Word {The Pre-Incarnate Christ} became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father,(we saw the glory of God, the Word as Christ) full of grace and truth. The Word in the flesh is Christ our Lord...He is the only way back to God. He was with God,he came out from God, he became flesh he is our Lord until the restitution of all things back to the Father then he himself will be subject to the Father, so the Father will be all in all

[SUP]5 [/SUP]Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

[SUP]6 [/SUP]
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

[SUP]8 [/SUP]And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[h=1][/h] [SUP]26 [/SUP]The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

It tells me that He gives us the opportunity to do the same.
So you think a mortal human being can be sinless, with sin in us that we inherited from Adam. Perhaps you have not studied what all GOD considers sin.

Romans 14:23 (YLT)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] and he who is making a difference, if he may eat, hath been condemned, because it is not of faith; and all that is not of faith is sin.

That's right, whatever is in your life that is NOT OF FAITH, is SIN.
Philippians 4:6 (NASB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Worrying then is SIN.

2 Timothy 2:24 (NIV)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.

Oh my, one slip and it is SIN.

Romans 13:8 (NKJV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

To owe someone a favor then is SIN.

Romans 13:1 (NKJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
Romans 13:5-7 (NKJV)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience' sake.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

Cheat on your taxes even a couple dollars, and it is SIN.
Fail to declare everything you bought on that trip over seas, and it is SIN.
Fail to show respect for those in authority over you, and it is SIN.

1 Peter 2:13-15 (NKJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme,
[SUP]14 [/SUP] or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
[SUP]15[/SUP] For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men--

Oh my, break the speed limit for any reason, and it is SIN.
Fail to come to a complete stop at a stop sign, and it is SIN.
Talk on your cell phone while driving, and it is SIN.
Park illegally even for less than a minute, and it is SIN.
Fail to pick up you dog's do-do in a public park, and it is SIN.

Yes we are inherently sinful, but Jesus afforded the opportunity, to all, to follow His law. Through the grace of GOD we can look at His law and say "I can do it, because Christ did and it would make Him happy if I did do it. Through Christ I can!" Whereas while under the bondage of sin, we looked at it ( and some still do) with despair and sadness.

Sure, we'll stumble and fall, but that's when we look to Jesus and repent and try again. He holds our hands through it all.

Yes please do. Paul said we can do all things through Christ and the Hebrew writer said we are not to the point of shedding blood yet and the Master said if only we have the faith of a mustard seed.
A matter of knowing and faith.

Every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord. That does not mean they are all his servants...not everyone who say Lord Lord....
Matthew 7:21 - "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

John 6:40 - And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Did these many people in Matthew 7:22 believe in Him? NO. In verse 23, Jesus said - I NEVER knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. What did these many people believe in? What were they trusting in for salvation? - "have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?" Answer - THEIR WORKS.

Walking in the light of God, doing the truth and being in fellowship with Christ his blood cleanses us from all sin. So a mortal man can be sinless, not by his own power but by the blood of Christ. That is why we cannot boast. The word of God shows us how to do it. If it were not so then God would have failed to save us from sin.
[SUP]
13 [/SUP]Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

[SUP]14 [/SUP]For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
-----------------------------------

[SUP]3 [/SUP]That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

[SUP]7 [/SUP]But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

[SUP]8 [/SUP]If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

How can you be born again and be inherently sinful, that is just being apologetic to those who preach some false doctrine.
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

[SUP]2 [/SUP]Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

[SUP]3 [/SUP]Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

I am not sure I will stumble and fall ( maybe but not sure)

[SUP]2 [/SUP]Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
[SUP]3 [/SUP]According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

[SUP]11 [/SUP]For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Have you heard guys (from written sources - one of apocrives), as Jesus Himself sold an apostol, as a slave.
One of them got a cast to go preach Gospel in India.
But he was afraid to go so far and not to hurry in the destined travel.

When Jesus appeared in the slave market, and suggested an Indian official to buy his slave (pointing to the apostol) as an expireinced construction ingener.

A buyer asked before (doubting if a person a slave) ''is it your master", and this thing the chap can not reject "ÿes, He is my Lord".

So, folks. For some of christians (even) now Jesus is a Master = Lord whose power over their destiny and lifes a servant of Lord can not deny. (it is in the cases when to few the Lord appeared making instructions = either showing their future lifeway in divine vision).
