So, i think it was yesterday i got a cmail. From a new user that i had seen just a little. This person hasn't been on CC long. Less than two weeks. Yet she felt she knew me well enough (despite us having never really interacted before) to message me and criticize my way of speaking. She doesn't know me. Know anything about me, who i am, what i've been through or what i struggle with. Yet after just walking in the door, so to speak, she felt it was her right to correct me.
I tried not to be bothered at first, to be patient and all. But the more time goes on the more annoying i find it to be that someone who basically knows nothing about me thinks it's their place to message me and question who i am. I know my shortcomings. And i know what shortcomings i think are worth working on vs what others are not as important to me. I don't really need some stranger to come here and think they know me well enough to inform me of things i already know, as if they have any right. Hopefully, next time, this person will take their time to learn about the person before thinking it's their right to correct others after reading a few posts.

I am definitely part of the "you all" that Fenner is referring to. As a matter of fact, I think I am the only one that Fenner is referring to.

Thank you for the high compliment Fenner, but I don't think you should single me out from all the rest of CC (everyone else here might feel left out).

Thanks anyway!!!

I wish you hadn't said anything. See folks I've followed Descyples catalog modeling career for quite some time now. The minute I saw him with a Ralph Lauren Polo shirt on pretending to be playing golf with a bunch of others, I knew, this man is going to be bigger than Toronto's Mayor Rob Ford.

At least you didn't show up with your new boyfriend? Extra awkwarrrd.
No no. If he would have shown up with his super awesome in every way better than me new girlfriend. Now THAT would be awkward and depressing.

while vulgarity isn't cool, i do really enjoy discovering what sentences might be formed by auto-correct. it's one of life's little joys. : )

I'm so sad... and hurt.. and I fee angry and betrayed. A friend of mine... let's call her "C" was dating this guy for about a year or so and they broke up. She still has feelings for him and he knows it yet he hangs around her as a friend. Yesterday, i introduced him to another close friend of mine let's call her "K"... so they started talking last night.. and they want to date eachother. The problem?

"C" hates me because she thinks I set them up... and let me just say she's like a sister to me... and I never want to hurt her. So "K" who is also like a sister to me asked me what I thought of them dating.. I told her they are adults but I can not support it because this guy jumped from one sister to a next not to mention it's ruining my friendship. That's not okay with me. So in total I lost three friends because I can not support or go against anyone.
Problem 1: C needs to blame someone and since it is too difficult to blame the guy she's still crushing over she's going to project all the problems on you. C needs to grow up and learn to be honest with herself. Guy isn't behaving very honorably either.

Problem 2: You can't please all people all the time. Can't be done so please don't try. It is not your fault when people don't like your decision or stance. Try to make your decisions based on what you believe and want and know you can be satisfied with your conduct when you look back on it years from now. Do not let your decisions be held captive by other people's emotions. Sometimes there are things, and people that you just can't fix.

I'm sure this really stinks coming on top of all the other stuff you are dealing with. We will pray God sends you friends who will stick by you even when they disagree with your opinions. And one more time, it's not your fault.

Before you go jumping to conclusions (even though they are often valid), I would like to point out that you have almost 12,000 posts on this site. That's a whole lot of glimpses into who you are, so it is conceivable that someone could know quite a bit about you without interacting with you much. Although anyone who actually hunts down reads all of your past posts should probably get a big stalker alert warning attached to them.

I feel sorry for Bugeye. He found out today that although I am often a man of few words on here, IRL you can't shut me up.
IDK who to feel more sorry for. Me for having to listen for that long, or you having to stare at my face for that long.

This is what I like to think when people think they know it all, especially about the person:

I can honestly say that I'm feeling the same right now with certain individuals, but it can't be certain and I could just be paranoid. But it gets so annoying, especially when this is all you've pretty much had to deal with for some time with others.

Actually not entirely true. Most people who think they know me through the forums but then get to know me on a more personal level realize i am quite different. Not on purpose. Just how i come across. Many people have seen me as scary and intimidating in the forums, but once they chat with me realize i'm not at all either of those things.
So even IF a person were to read a large number of my threads, that is still not knowing the individual. Just knowing About the individual. This person knew nothing more than a few thread posts.
And you're going off the assumption that they've read past posts and all current posts (probably not either one). So your best case scenario is also a very low likelihood.

You always say that something I say is not entirely true (and you'll probably say that about this statement since I used always). But as you are friend who I prefer to have word battles with in person in chat and not splashed across the forums for all to see, I will refrain from further discussion on this topic. At least until I go back and read all 12,000 of those posts and win the stalker award. :p
