I think I might have accidentally freaked a dude out. Not sure how. I was talking, things were good. Then BOOP, logged out. NO idea what I did wrong...
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Some people online completely forget the manners that would customarily be used IRL such as saying they need to leave, goodbye, etc. Also the internet is a funky thing that can be somewhat unreliable at times. For all you know the person you were talking to lost their internet connection

Some of you know that my Son has a friend his Mom is on drugs and no longer in his life. He's 7 , he spends a lot of time with us. So much that I feel like I have a 3rd child. I love him and I feel that God wants me to be part of his life. His Mom can't see him or his Brother until she completes a rehab program. It's been 2 years, she's still addicted and she's pregnant. She doesn't live far away. My thought has been, what if we are out somewhere and see her? What do I do? He hasn't seen her in a very long time. His Grandmother explained to him what's going on with her.

When she was around we were always friendly. Although I don't respect her choices for the sake of her child and mine I would be polite.

Still my thought is, I hope we never run into her.

Lil, what exactly is he being stubborn about? Maybe someone will have some suggestions for how to deal with it. Are you having trouble getting him to take his meds or something? I'm sorry this is so hard. :(
He's stubborn about me putting his back harness on him. He has two harnesses. One for his front, and one for his back end. They have handles on them so you can help pull him up. He hates it when I put the back one on him. Sometimes he cooperates but sometimes he won't. I can find ways to get him his medications. Usually a spoon full of peanut butter is all it takes.

But his digestive system has been thrown off due to antibiotics, and sometimes he just gets tired so he absolutely refuses to be walked. Then he makes a mess (he did that twice yesterday, he's been able to do good today). And today I can't get him to eat his food because he doesn't like it. He'll eat what I'm eating, but he won't eat the canned dog food I give him. He ate it for a few days, and now he's all like, "Chicken? Again? ....Really."

THEN, the cat keeps crying for attention. I can't pay attention to the cat without Mocha freaking out, and I can't pay attention to Mocha without the cat crying for me and that freaks Mocha out. As long as Mocha doesn't hear him, he's fine. But as soon as there's a mew at the door, there's a bark fest.

By the way, Pipp...What cake flavor do you use for your caramel maple bacon cake, outta curiosity? :) Is it just your typical vanilla?

Caramel. You can do home made or use a store bought yellow and add caramel flavoring.... I've done both no one can tell the difference

I know it's not very popular but I'm a big fan of semi home made stuff. I'm the queen of doctoring a cake mix to make it taste home made. Of course I don't do that all the time.

Fake Smake. Who cares. It's not really fake as it's the same ingredients, or most of it. (So the might add some preservatives.) You just don't assemble it is all.

one thing i forgot to mention to you earlier, evs:

as far as the probiotic goes, wait until he's through his course of antibiotics (you shouldn't give them at the same time, for a few reasons) and then you can add one of your multi-strain probiotics to his food, maybe for three days in a row, or alternating days. dogs have different digestive systems that we do, and have an easier time maintaining their intestinal flora.

aside from antibiotics, stress and sugar are the primary reasons people have issues maintaining their good bacteria--dog's systems regulate better than our own in that area. however, they are more sensitive to dietary changes, especially sudden ones, so don't go willy-nilly trying to give him different foods to encourage him to eat. it's better for him to eat little (during this short interim) than taking extreme efforts to get him to eat anything.

that's especially true if he's been sick or shown evidence of digestive issues.

oh ems, so very sorry. *hugs* i'm praying for you and am sorry you're going through this time of trial.

You know you're not important family members when something big happens with relatives and you only knew because you heard it from someone who's technically not related to any of us... Only has connections because she was a wife to my uncle (dad's brother) who passed away years ago. If not that then it's them posting facebook statuses about anything that happens (I'm not their friend, they have their statuses made public so that's how I know).

Well. Not that I really consider them close anyway. But still. My father's the brother to the aunt where this event is happening, I think he should at least know since it involves his niece. Not to know from some unrelated person who doesn't give either way but rubs it in peoples faces once she knows about something. Good thing I didn't make this said aunt my guardian or whatever it was for when I made my confirmation since she wanted to be so badly.

I should stop giving a damn, even if it's only a tiny bit... This isn't the first that this happened either.

3 weeks to Canada, right? You're getting a break really soon. *hugs, hugs, and extra hugs* You don't know how much you make me want to buy a plane ticket and come kidnap you (in the best sense of the word and not for any evil purposes). Oh and Psalm 13:

O LORD, how long will you forget me? Forever?
How long will you look the other way?
2 How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul,
with sorrow in my heart every day?
How long will my enemy have the upper hand?
3 Turn and answer me, O LORD my God!
Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die.
4 Don’t let my enemies gloat, saying, “We have defeated him!”
Don’t let them rejoice at my downfall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love.
I will rejoice because you have rescued me.
6 I will sing to the LORD
because he is good to me.

Bike has another flat tire (and it's not the one I had repaired just a couple days ago). Hoping to get news of roomie's visa today. Really annoyed that autocorrect keeps trying to substitute the word rookie for roomie. And lots of stuff to do that I don't feel like doing. Yep, must be Monday again. They say Monday is a terrible way to spend 1/7 of your life.

This coming Saturday I am going to the lake with my sister, her husband, my friend, and two of her friends.

I do not have a swimsuit and I do not plan on buying one. I also do not have any shorts. I'm not even sure if my capris got packed...

So, it may have to be exercise pants and a tank top as my "swim suit". My excuse will be that I just don't have those clothes and I'm not going to buy them. They don't need to know the real reason. Even though I probably draw just as much attention wearing PANTS to swim as it would as it would be to just wear shorts and bear my chubby, white, scarred legs (I'm not being mean to myself, it's a fact)...I refuse. I will try to have fun regardless.
