Hoss, any new word on Ellie and her momma? I don't remember ever praying this much for an unborn baby before; she's really been on my mind.
I talked to my mom this morning. She said that there does seem to be some improvement. From what I understand, which isn't much, the doctors are going to be giving Ellie more blood in utero and do another ultrasound tomorrow morning. I was told there must be some hope or they wouldn't try it.

Thank you all for the prayers.

When I was studying schizophrenia in school, we had a prof that was also psychiatrist at a mental hospital that helps diagnosis cases of mental illnesses in which other psychiatrists can't diagnose. He showed us drawing samples of patients with different mental illnesses. The most bizarre were those of schizophrenics. The faces of the people that they had drawn were often twisted. That has been my biggest fear. To go insane.

I hate making decisions before my ducks are in a row. Too many ducks in the air right now.

well since you're 30 i doubt you will ever develop schizophrenia because the odds of that happening after about 29 or 30 are very low. it just doesn't really happen, or so i've learned.

Oh yeah I know the chances are nil. My late uncle had it, that was the only risk but I'm not actually concerned. It was just just something in the back of my mind. It would horrible. Like a own personal hell.

i went in to rite aid and picked something up and the young woman at the counter seemed really cold. it upset me, cause i was like... 'wow, thanks,' you know ? when you're already having a hard time it's sometimes difficult not to be offended. when i got in the car and told my mother she said, ' well maybe she thought you were mad at her.' i was like... ' hmm,' and didn't quite understand until i got home and saw my face in the mirror.
