I think the judicial system all in all is messed up.
My ex husband is running around (dragging his kids with his first wife) with a pot head, after he broke up with the third wife he's put through an abusive marriage.
All I can say is that I wish his first ex wife had the same ability to keep her kids from him as I do with my little girl.
We don't have any money to hire a lawyer to get them away from him though
I think it would be better to have no father figure, rather than one as terrible as the one they have.

and the comments from the women in these articles confirm to me a bias against males... when it comes to the older man/ teen girl. these women are all "kill him kill him" but these same women when it comes to older woman young guy are "oh she made a mistake nothing to see move along"

Obviously I haven't read the article you are referring to so I can't comment directly to it. I agree that there is a huge disparity in the way that most of society perceives male and female sexual offenders. Men are typically cast into the stereotypical sex offender mold (regardless of their history) whereas most of society has a difficult time mentally placing a woman into that same mold. I think a lot of this is due to the way that males who have committed sex crimes are portrayed in the media and likewise the fact that by far the majority of known serial offenders (which, by the way, are a miniscule minority of all offenders) are male.

One of the toughest things about teaching isn't the behaviour management, nor is it the report writing. Rather, it's that most schools here in Australia are nut-free. I love nuts! They're tasty, filling and nutritious. (I'm totally kidding about the first two by the way, they definitely provide their own challenges). I've even visited some schools that were citrus-free. That was weird!

I also think the US judicial system is a mess. It's totally biased, since the govt has no real control over it anymore.

If the system was balanced, all three branches of govt would have equal power. That hasn't happened for many years.

We were first a democratic republic, then a democracy, & now we're headed toward dictatorship thru FEMA. All that's left now is is a declaration of martial law. A new "911" could set it all off. Who knows, a "rigged" ISIS attack, blaming this new group like they did the last time, & SS FEMA police would be patrolling the streets in their armored vehicles. The end result being something like N. Korea, or Germany when Hitler ruled.

I've been to a few schools and let me tell ya, there were plenty of nuts. Most of them students, a few of them teachers. Some of the teachers who were nuts were really fun.

By the way Tintin, what subject do you teach? I hope it's math. All my math teachers were cool, every single one of them... and they all seemed to have one ground rule - you can bring candy to class as long as you bring enough to share. History teachers, english teachers, social studies teachers all banned candy of any sort, but math teachers always let us. Either there's something about math that equates with being cool... or the math teachers all had an agreement to get a cut of the candy.

well I am not referring to the story itself (the news station just pointed out female was arrested for having sex with 16 year old dude) but the comments on the story really make me sick. When it comes to where the victim is 12 or under it seems somewhat balanced in a way... if the perp is male its kill them if perp is female is a mix of kill her or hope they never get out of prison.. but its like something happens when the "victim" hits 13+ if the perp is female the comments seem to be "oh she made a mistake" granted some guys do comment "lucky guy" but if the perp is male, the women just flat out come out with the "kill him" comments. I have not seen one female say to a male perp "oh he made a mistake" no "compassion" at all tward the male perp. only the female perp.

And of course teen guys in general won't turn down "fun time" with a older female. granted it does not make it right for the older female to go to bed with the teen boy. But I was a teen once, and I quite remember teen girls bragging about sleeping with some 20 or 30 year old man.. remember one girl in 7th grade who was 13 and openly admitted she was sleeping with a 31 year old. so yes teen girls like teen boy will sleep with someone older. BUT if we are going to say "kill them" to one perp gender then it should be said to both. and the punishments should be the same.

I'm a primary school (elementary?) teacher, so I teach most subjects. My preferred age range is around 8 to 13 years old. I teach Maths as one of my subjects but I don't particularly enjoy it. I found Maths hellish in my school days, I couldn't get my head around most of it and I generally did poorly. I've much improved since then, but I still sometimes have to go over some things prior to teaching them.

So I seen this on the news today... 36 year old female teachers aid got busted for well having fun with a 16 year old dude... Now this sort of thing seems to be getting pretty common these days.. but what really makes me wonder is the comments in the news stories I see and the sentences they receive ..

these ol feminists keep crying about equality... well I don't see any equality in justice here... Now lets get back to comments on news stories.. Now in this case I see comments from posters "Lucky Guy" and "oh she just made a mistake" But now when its a 36 year old man messing around with a 16 year old female the comments are "cut his you know what off" "kill him" "execute him"... Well from the looks of society these days it appears if you are a 36 year old female its ok to go sleeping around with young guys... but guys don't dare even think about it. Where is the equality in that? if it is bad for one gender do to it should it be bad for both to do it?

Now lets look at the punishments the courts dish out for these sort of things. It seems when a female is the one caught with a young person the punishment is a slap on the wrist so to speak.. But not so long ago a man got 39 years for kissing a young girl. (granted in this case more could of been going on but from the jist of the story he was convicted on a kiss and I believe the girl was 16) where is the justice in this? Man kisses 16 year old girl, 39 year sentence. but yet female can sleep with 16 year old and get a couple years if that.. it appears to me Guys again are getting the shaft and all this equality I keep hearing feminist talk about well don't exist clearly we have a bias against males.

Should also note the female teacher case happened in Indiana and age of consent is 16, but the fact she was in a teaching environment is what really nailed her, but still from the comments and the sentence she will likely receive we have a bias against men.

There have been other women young student cases, Mary Kay Laterno for example where it's been more than a slap on the wrist. I find it disgusting when either gender takes advantage of a child and I agree it shouldn't be a slap on the wrist for them. No matter if they are male or female.

Bleh. Today was just... bleh. I was working, and two women (I will NOT call them ladies) were working at a station behind me and they were talking loudly about the "size" of their respective husbands... then about sex from the back... then they went on to if they ever got divorced they would both like to try sex with a woman... and twice they said something along the lines of "you know Isaac's standing right there" and I thought they'd stop, but they kept right on.

Fortunately we have church tonight. I get to go be around a lot of normal people for a change.

I don't doubt this. When I was a medical biller, I was the only male in the med office. The women would have similar conversations. ugh!
