I think my mother has a lot of demonic oppression in her life and it is reaching its peak. I'm patient and understanding with her when she yells at me and goes crazy, making up things about me that aren't true and saying that she wishes she never had me. I'm quiet and a good daughter and I try to never say anything when she's yelling at me because I know that it's demons who are trying to deceive her. She has struggled with depression, anxiety, and an undiagnosed case of what seems to be bipolar disorder. Please help, I don't know what to do! This is making my life very hard. I am christian and my mother is catholic, but she doesn't understand what it means to have a relationship with God, and for as much that I have tried to explain it to her, it only fuels her hatred for me. I am almost 17, so I can't leave the house, and I would feel bad to leave her alone like this without helping her out.

Umm... that's not demons. That's the bipolar. Which is a mental disorder. Much like the physical body can be sick with illnesses, so can the brain. Doesn't need to be made something spiritual.
What you mother needs is medication to help her symptoms. Applying 'demons' to a persons mental illness does not help them in any way, it only hinders them.

What if it is spiritual Ugly then what? No need for opinions the op has considered what it is or is not. Are you a MD or mental health expert or bible scholar? Just give what will help and not an assessment of things you are not factual about. And if by chance you are a MD or mental health expert and have all the facts other than what is posted forgive me. If that is not the case be careful saying what it is not you simply don't know!

So sorry, hon. :( Mental disease or not, that doesn't make the ones who suffer the reactions from her (being you) any less painful, so don't suppress the hurt you are probably feeling. Have you talked to your mother about visiting the doctor? Do you have access to a counselor to talk to about this? Some things to first consider so you don't have to suffer in silence.

Pray and have mercy for your mothers struggles.
Do not allow what ever bad things your mothers says about you to become fact in your mind. For what she says while she is angry has no merit.

Do not allow your own flesh to become engaged with her in warfare. For many hurting people lash out in anger toward others. Its a very tough place that you are in. I am very sorry that you are having to endure this hardship with your mother.
I have heard many sermons based on long suffering and the storms in life.

The Scriptures tells us that we all go through storms in life. For the Christian believer. These storms can be to test our faith.
Will we turn away from God? or toward God in times of trouble? These test can also be used for testing our own Spiritual health.

GALATIANS 5:16-25 Speaks of acts of the flesh, compared to being lead by the Spirit.
There is also Scriptures teaching!... Blessed are the peacekeepers. I try to remember and apply these scriptures more so when people go to war against me. For God is well pleased when we succeed at doing his will.

Maybe you could attempt a little Bible study with your mother. Reading up on GALATIONS 5 could be a real wake up call on how ugly our flesh can be. The Scripture also shows what behaviors are possible for us when we choose to walk in the Spirit.

I pray to the father that he bring love and joy into your mothers heart.
In Jesus name. AMEN!

Bipolar disorder also jumped out at me. You need to talk to a doctor, and figure out a way to get your mom treated.

Also, please talk to a counselor at school, or in your church if you are able to go to church. It sounds like your mother is abusing you, and this might open the door for her to get help.

I do not think that this is at all about demons. If you get her on medication, and she improves, then you will know it is mental illness. Praying for you, and for your mom to get help!

I agree with a lot of the statements made about seeking counseling that is wise. But please also consider it may be demonic manifestations using a mask of mental illness too! No one is suggesting that it is not serious but that it just may also be a demonic and spiritual cause to the things plaguing her mother, Just some advice from a real good understanding of spiritual warfare.

What would Yahushua do?

We also see in 1 Cor. 13 that love never fails.
It may take some time, maybe not, but the love of Elohim endures.

Dear Father In Heaven

Please be with Angie and her mother and help this situation as Father You do know all the facts. Help the mother to be willing to get help whether in the form of doctors or spiritual help and prayers. Give Angie the patience she will need in dealing with her mothers anger that is displayed toward her and give her the strength to endure the trial that this puts in her life. Help Angie to rest in Your arms of comfort and love and I pray that if it is a spiritual warfare that You will send Your mighty angels to help release her mother from their grasp and set her free. That her mother would come to a full understanding of the gospel and have a complete conversion. Father You know what is going on and I ask that You step in and help Angie and her mother with this situation. In Jesus Name Amen.

My mother and sister and father would attack me at 'sudden' times until it finally wrapped up in 2010 with a kick out of Thanksgiving dinner (Um you can see my age). This was a demon, I believe. Demon or not, it's name is jealousy or control and is a bully. The spirit wants to attack believers through the wounds of the biological family. Their jealousy was so strong towards me that they wanted to let me know they were rejecting me. I remember the last attack driving away and I just stood there looked into the sky and was like, "Nope, God, done".

I have seen it in other people and with parents attacking children. Love wins, but with demons you have to use your Spiritual weapons given by the Lord. These evil spirits are to be kicked out in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. They try and play fear tactics and attack people we love. Demons hate Jesus and are pure evil. Speak the word of God in Jesus' name this is LOVE. We have to fight that battle with God's word. "It is written you cannot test the Lord thy God".

SAy these every morning and pray around your house when she is not there and when she is there. "No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against YOU Lord God shall confound". Use the word of God against it every day. RISE UP everyday early and pray for it to be confounded. I also pray LOrd that you send your warrior angels to fight for her in her home, and do so quickly.

You can also say, "Thank you Lord for protecting me and giving me the words for my mother, and thank you for my redemption against these attacks. I trust you will get me in a safe place soon".

Here's a story. I was slinging shrimp and sandwiches at a restaurant, and noticed everyday that the dish washer man would curse, scream at the waitstaff and just cause alot of unrest and drama with the staff. I was walking back to scrape my dishes and the spirit got really angry and screamed a bad word at me. I suddenly and firmly said, "Watch your mouth". Everyone stopped and clapped because he stopped. Next thing I know, the dishwasher came over and apologized. Demon or not, that behavior can not be tolerated in front of the Lord Jesus. You can even say, " Iknow you are my mother but you cannot speak to me that way". I experienced alot of this at age 17 and it was right when I was about to leave the house. It's like they sense my freedom in Christ and went in for the last attack. Trust God will fight on your behalf. Amen

You note some worthy comments. I don't know how extensive your warfare knowledge is or goes. I do know this I will pray and assist in any way I can you the op or any other brother or sister on this site and of course in ministry who needs assistance and first hand knowledge of warfare weapons and tactics. A basic understanding is not enough just read the account of the sons of Sceva to prove that point.
The Sons of Sceva Acts 19
13Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 16And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. 19Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

Zechariah 13 says, "In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land."

Was Jesus dying not a fountain of David opening to cleanse people from sin? If not, what is it? If it is, then there are no more unlean spirits in the land. No demons. Don't assume demons when it could be a treatable mental disorder. There is no reason to assume demons unless you have ruled out all other testable causes.

It seems your mother may have been treated like this as a child herself. If you could talk to her about her childhood maybe you
could help her heart mend. I have a Mother who was abused as a child and growing up, she would scream at me, lived off emotions. The Holy Spirit can heal your mothers heart and break these strongholds off her life. That is what he does.

I'm just repeating what the church taught me. I don't believe there is such a thing as demons. What do you say the fountain of David opening is?

I will not enter into a theological discussion as your core is not as solid as mine on biblical principles. I suggest more study and ask questions of your Pastor. Especially seeing that your church hasn't taught or teaches against demons and demonic oppression, ect. That is scary! Note to think on never repeat anything you don't know for yourself, you are the one who will have to give an accounting.Be blessed

True about assuming the issue is demonic oppression. For the flesh can act up and be very ugly all on its own.

However!...
The world system is all to quick to claim disorders in people. They then prescribe far to many pharmaceuticals with many overdoses occurring. The scriptures teach us to be of sober mind. We do not struggle with flesh and blood.
The world system keeps many addicted to the drugs prescribed by doctors with horrible side effects. It would seem that Pharmaceutical drugs are not a blessing from God.

I have heard the testimonials of missionary's that go into the jungles in third world country's. God is not known in many of these places. There is lots of demonic activity from what the mission groups testify. They also mention much of the demonic behaviors that they see in the villages. America would call it a disorder.

Would you personally want to risk having a Doctor to turn you into a potential drug addict as a first choice for some issues?
Would you rather choose to trust in the Bible, Apply whats in the Bible. And get close with Jesus as to let the Lord show all of the Authority and Power that Jesus posses as a first choice?

There are also natural herbs, amino acids, etc, that will boost a persons serotonin levels. Being a mood booster and then enhancing a persons feelings of well being, helping them to be more emotionally stable and hopefully a little less cranky.:)

Do you believe there are Angels? Demons are fallen angels. 1/3 of all of the Angels are fallen. Were talken 100's of 1000's
of angels.
If you would listen to Christian radio. You will not be limited to what just one pastor chooses to teach in the Bible.:)

I donn't believe in demons or angels or gods. I am not in any way limited to what one pastor teaches, and I dont have a pastor.
Pastac, that seems like a poor reason to not have a theological discussion, especially because you don't know what kind of core I have. I was not repeating it because I think it to be true. I don't think it is true. I was expessing what several churches teach. Also, I no longer have a church, just to be clear.
