So I REALLY HATE 50 shades of grey for multiple reasons and I HATE IT WITH A PASSION! My mom and dad think it's "disturbing" how much I hate it. Is this a bad thing?

I also think I am freaking out a bit because my mom has read the book...AND LIKED IT! *shudder* And that just sits wrong with me. Am I being too sensitive?
The movie probably is more for her age group. No worries... this too shall pas...

Why don't you read the book and decided for yourself if you're being too sensitive. Unless you have read the book, then by all means keep hating away, you're only human you know.

Sexual sadism should disturb you. The best way to get back at the author is not buy the garbage book or a ticket to the R rated movie.

It speaks to the imagination of the author and all that is wrong with them. The salvation factor is the consumer public can choose to save themselves from her wicked imagination by not paying it any attention.
Being oversensitive gives the garbage power over you. Let it go.

50 shades of christians.

You mighty men and women of God

Whom have conquered sin

Whom have overcome all the devils tricks

You all end up fearing the very thing

You say you've conquered.

Pay attention please... someone else deserves credit for it.

But it's true, most christian don't know how to cope when they get the scent of sin.
I agree. Why are we surprised when people sin? Do we have expectations that they won't? If we do we have unrealistic expectations.

I get it, you can't deal with sinfulness but God in you can. Well I can, and God doesn't live in me, so what does that say about you.

Maybe you can take your mum to a battered womens shelter to see the results?
Or else you can tell her that you now like the book and that you are going to advertise on craigslist and engage in these fantasies with random strangers.
Will she like the book then?

That I shouldn't discuss these things with liars.
