We're in that in between from CDs to Digital much like when I saw the transition from 8 track to cassette.

We still have some cassettes floating around but they aren't the preferred method of madness. I have a reproduction Boom Box just for cassettes. It's very popular to play old video games or play 'wax records' on a needle.
vinyl is still my fave.

glad turntables are still made.

One of my brother's who is in his 50's still has an 8-track and I still remember the one 8-track tape that he used to play all of the time from the band Prism! Too funny.

Shouldn't be hard to locate JL. Likely a short circuit in one wire cable is all. Which ever breaker "popped" ... the cable leading up to it is the culprit. Did the rest of the breakers remain on ?
This is the sneaking kind that makes noise but does not pop/trip a breaker.....doesn't make the box hot.....just has that electrical pop sound coming from the box area....there has got to be a bad wire in there somewhere.....This place was built back in the 1980's I mean really that is not that old for a house.... Just another one of life's little annoying things to deal with.... That's o.k. Blond still has a smile on her face and a song in her heart....
