Most of the church and even America, is basically already 'ripped apart' in their 'hypocrisy' and 'lukewarm' lives, as well as any prosperous nations, with beautiful buildings.

And it is written;
"Be ye perfect as your FATHER in Heaven is perfect."

Okay..let's go back to the roots of the word "Christian'. In the city of Antioch, which was extremely pagean, the citizens came up with a name that would apply to this new sect of people who suddenly appeared on the scene. They followed a jew named Jesus Christ, so they called them "CHRISTIANS". This was very derrogatory. IT was NOT a compliment. It was profiling at a high degree, very much like the British who labelled the American colonists as "Yankee Doodles". They laughed and made sport of "CHRISTIANS". Those that were labelled "CHRISTIANS" took it as a matter of pride that they were associated with CHRIST and that the pageans took note of that. ITwas turned around as a 'badge of courage", especially after the fact that 'CHRISTIANS" were used as human torches and slaughtered in arenas. NO matter what negativity you just applied to your own fellow Believers, you should be proud that CHRIST is the identification here. Are there ones that use the word "Christian" for other purposes? Sure! Should you be concerned? NO...CHRIST and YOU are the ones with the true relationship. Our mission is to win others to CHRIST, first and foremost. Those that are already in the fold do need our prayers and support..but they are not our MAIN concern..since time is so short here.

I can see that
I used to want to be a Viking when I was a kid...and my cousins and I had more than one funeral for dead wildlife we had found when we used to stay at our grandparents cottage in the Laurentian Mtns
We would parade around with me leading, humming a funeral dirdge and holding the poor dead creature out in front
And then bury it...my grandmother would never have allowed us access to matches
We were kind of wild back then...
