Secular Hermit I am in Canada and it is supposed to go up to 38C this weekend. That is 102 F. One forecast said 41C or 106 F. I've only been in that kind of heat once in my life, in Redding California when I was 8 years old.

Now I am really going to find out if we made the right move coming here. It's all very well to be warmer in winter than Alberta, but warmer in summer is a BIG deal!

I am rather selective about which threads I engage in or even view. I usually know by the title whether it is destined for a foot-stomping-eye-gouging-take no prisoners free-for-all. I despise those threads. Others are about things that I regard as nonsense topics so I don't even bother to click on them. At other times it depends on who the host of the thread is. There are are some threads I simply will not touch because of whose thread it is.

Home from the cottage; the internet service really sucked this week and kept cutting in and out. I was flustered! Anyhow ... how is everyone doing? Can you give me a quick run down on what has been going on since I last begged lots of u not to leave on Sunday without me having to sift through 200 pages? :)

There were some voluntary and some involuntary leaving this week. Hopefully some of the voluntary ones will come back. Just taking a break from the madness!

As for Kody and Sarah, I haven't seen them around in a while. I hope they will come back soon. Oh, and elf, I miss him, too!

i have been on when I can get on.
I see sirk likes golfing. I would go golfing with you, but warning, I have only been to the mini kind with like turtles or dinosaurs that try to eat the golf balls or the driving range...it could be dangerous and we may be screaming 4 a lot
