Back whenever I was a kid we lived what my mama referred to as a country mile away from the nearest neighbor (wasn't that far, though..lol), but it was a great way of living...:)

As a matter of facts, whenever I came to this FRIENDLY thread (Speak your mind) I felt myself lost whenever I received "likes" without having said anything in particular... I felt it warm! But I got confused and, today (when I felt being watched) :p something new occured... It was skylab! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

If you come up hwy. 17 which is coastal hwy. you can go for many miles
and never see anything. It has more good than bad. The traffic in the
summer is bad at times. People gping to the beach, a lot of dui's from
out of towners. We live here, so, we know what to do.

It seems as though I missed quite a bit:( Oh, well. I was busy at work and for the first time since starting I was pretty much on my own taking care of customers, making pizzas, sandwiches, and a bunch of other fun things. I was told that I am picking it up very quickly and getting faster everyday:)

Yeah, ....they hand "likes" out like candy in this thread.
I once pulled 8 or 9 likes with a one word post.

I will say, that this thread is the best on CC, .....friendly, funny and uplifting.

The wife and I, went and had dinner with a church member a few weeks back.
They live in a condo, well their neighbor decided to get into it. We heard all of
their problems. We didn't want to, wrong place wrong time. If one would catch
fire, everyone in that building would be homeless. Give me my farm, I'm happy.

I can't agree more about this thread. I enjoy it because there are times I need encouragement and receive it and then there are others that need it so I can encourage them. I know a few times I have went to bed and the next morning and the most I have ended up with is 28 likes, I was completely taken back, but hey I love everybody here:)

Sometimes, I think, that´s why there are too many planets and constellations: A new life roomy enough to avoid those "fires" you´ve mentioned.
