the 'trap' is always everywhere, what's important, is to kindly 'THINK' before we speak or type ...

our words can be taken in a multitude of ways, and growing in the Lord, learning His Way of speech
is one of the hardest things to master, but it is also one of the most important, if we want to grow
in grace and Godly character..

as it is written,
There is no voice that has not significance', our WORDS, they are so powerful in how they can affect others..
for God made us in His image, and in the beginning was The Word', and when we speak, we are either
speaking the image of Light, or the image of darkness.....so, we must guard our tongue.....
as it is written,
I will bridle my mouth.....

What matters, Greggy boy, is that you don't be a donkey.

Honestly, I think Greggy and Magenta both need to stop responding to each other, and place each other on ignore.. :/

OK, 1 page in, and this thread is already getting ridiculous.

Let's derail it!

Here on BDF you can start a thread on "drinking milk while reading your bible" and the sabres will rattle. It's just something you learn to navigate through as you stick it out here. :)
Wrong, wrong, wrong! Any REAL Christian KNOWS (by the Spirit and discernment) that it is only WATER you are to drink. Because that is what we are baptized in. Unless, of course, you want to drink fire. ;)
This is an important topic that needs thorough discussion.

This "water" you speak of needs to be anointed and consecrated by a priest. A regular Christian cannot drink regular water and expect it to help them study the Word. It is obvious to everyone that your false doctrine has blinded you on this subject.

I started it as well. Jesus never done what we are doing in here. people calling often for others to get banned because you dont agree with them, That pathetic. Some say I believe yada yada and the next person pull that apart. who would want to be a part of that. You can get that in any pub.

Is it possible we could say I believe this that and what ever. Then let the next person say what they thing with out quoting and pulling apart everyone posts. And I will say again I am also guilty of this. I say it again because I know how a lot in here have selective reading.

I thijnk I willl start a thread on Paul thorn, See if we can have one discusion woth out forcing your views on anyone else.

Practice what you preach.
And here is a first class example of attacking for no reason . I said I was guilty to twice but you missed that. What is wrong with you contantly attaking?
the problem IMO is that we can't read the body language and the tone in the voice like in the chat where you can see the person and here their voice.

Sometimes you won't get the jist of a person's intention until they explain or unless they are so bold that they just Haul off and tell you what they feel/think.

Me too, sister. Me too! And I don't dance to much. Maybe a bit of Michael Jackson, some Lindsey Stirling and praise and worship music, that's about it. And it's not really so much dancing, as in moving. Haha! Good on you, mate. :)

I have yet to put anyone on ignore here and I am not about to start. If he would like to ignore me, he is certainly free to do so. I will respond to whom I will.

Hey everyone how about we get together and have a mud party.. have fun! sling mud at the same time.. jump in and get dirty together.. we all do it at some point or another and this is about being the same right? One body in christ..
we are saints and priests.. it's about time we stop being so serious with each others shortcomings and start laughing at our silliness..even jesus says.. what you do to the least of these you do unto me.. well I don't know who the least is.. but whoever got mud on them needs it wiped off.. your a saint for goodness sake and those white robes don't stay clean by themselves.. I tell you if I had a church I would have a mud party.. everyone in together and a ton of sprinklers to get clean together.. why not do in the real what we do in the spirit realm.. seriously.. we all jack up somwtimes.. say things we wish we didnt.. in the bigger picture its about coming back together..maintaining unity.. not helping unravel the cord

"He must have a strong belief in the trustworthy message he was taught; then he will be able to encourage others with wholesome teaching and show those who oppose it where they are wrong." (Titus 1:9)

[SUP]" [/SUP][Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)..." (2 Cor 10:5)

We are to be kind and gentle as well as know when we are throwing pearls at swine. It is normal to come across false doctrines, it is normal to yourself fall prey to some. It is important to refute them and bring them under the obedience of Christ. don't feel you can't disagree or that having deep discussions on scripture is a bad thing because it's a good thing. Sometimes we need someone to hit us on the head(some more than others) so we can see if what we are believing is sound and agrees with scripture fully. If it doesn't or we are unsure, we should not be teaching it until we are.

No one can make someone believe the truth, the Holy Spirit leads one to the truth, and when one knows the truth it will set them free. But first one has to be open always to being wrong about something, and ready to hear out what someone has to say on a matter. Humility is vital to the Christian walk and this is a type f humility on beliefs, reasoning's, doctrines, theories, etc. listening before you speak, that's to God and others

I spent my first year here thinking the same thing. Three people here continued to spout the same worn out responses to see if they could irritate everyone else. At the recommendation of someone else, I finally activated my ignore list. It has grown a bit, but I don't have to reread the same old comments over and over again.

We may not always agree, but I always respect your comments because you, like many others here, usually support your arguments with scripture.

I'm just being silly... Gregor and magenta both have some very good responses to several posts.. I have appreciated reading their insight
and seeing things from both their views.. you both have some good things to add to these forums. There's times too when something is written and I get all.....well.... unbecoming... as uncomfortable sometimes as i may get and as unpleasant as I might respond... it's actually good when it happens.. why? Because if I ever (arrive).. I don't need a savior...those vents exposing what's still in me reveals areas which god can still help me... SO.... good news everyone!!!! God can STILL help us ...

I don't have anyone on ignore. I feel like I would be covering my lamp if I wasn't able to see and respond to asinine comments.
