Should we laugh when we see abominations? Or should we cry, and sigh? [h=1]Ezekiel 9:4-6King James Version (KJV)[/h]4 And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

Well I have seen some people laugh at abominations....so I was wondering if I received this verse wrong? Not implying, simply asking!

I would be interested in knowing what abominations you saw people laughing at and I would also like to know if the people who were laughing were supposed to be Christians?

I would just like to see the battle axes laid down...I have already claimed so many times, that I had been led astray by false prophets..I just wanted to learn, and I don't like it when my questions become tools for war! I can get that else where, just walk out my door..I thought this place might be a safe haven! I am so sorry, I am in just too many tears right now!

They question you not to put you down but to better understand what point you're trying to make.

understanding,,, something I'm sure you are very familiar with...

why you would take offence is a personal matter, and one that you would do well to examine and
investigate - for you have definitely over-reacted to brethren who are simply curious about your
posting, and there is obviously no un-kindness involved that we can see....

For myself, there's nothing funny or amusing about people who commit abominations against God. The end result may very well be the Lake of Fire, and those who chuckle over that probably ought to be thrown in too... Wouldn't that be a hoot?
