Thanks so much, Magenta! Thanks for your encouraging words.
You are welcome, Tintin. Your review really was very well written, and covered so many points! I liked Christian Bale as Moses, though ;) And did Sigourney even utter one word? If anyone ever looked out of place in a movie it surely was her. You hit the nail on the head in many respects. I still liked the movie... and I always think such endeavors, even though often far removed from the written Word, will inspire some to find out what the Bible really says on the matter. That is part of what happened to me... as I would be reading various books that would occasionally refer to Genesis, and then I would pick up my dreaded Bible and read for myself what was written therein... and much to my chagrin would sometimes find myself reading beyond what I had intended. I laugh to think of it now. I love the book of Genesis. Noah was a fabulous movie, too. I am glad you liked it :)

Goold evening everyone.

I recieved an email from mom ( Ellie ) today.
She said to tell all of you thank you for the
prayers. She's still sick, but not as bad, still
some bleeding, throwing up, and now getting
2-3 hours of sleep at night.

She also said to tell all of you that she misses
you, and loves you dearly, and hopes to return
when she is able to do so.

Please keep her in your prayers.
I want to say thank you to all who
have been praying for me. I'm still
not doing to good, still trusting God.
My breathing is super hard, for those
who don't know. My treatment didn't
go well at all yesterday. If you will, keep
me in your prayers also. Thank you, Frank
Love you Frank!
You are in my constant prayers.
Praying for Ellie too and the little girl April.

I love you all
You are not forgotten.
God bless you and hold you in His light of love and peace.

Dear Jesus
We pray tonight for those who are in need. I know Your love shines down on them.
As we give to You all our troubles. You shall turn our tears to precious diamonds in Your hands, and You shall turn our sorrows to joy and peace.
In Your grace I give my all to You Jesus. All my heart, and all my soul.
Our loving prayers for all our friends in need tonight.

Amen

Haha, the personality test did not read you right  I sometimes love reading, have read many books, and many of them multiple times :) Even as a child, if I really liked a book, I would read it more than once. A couple of years ago, I bought an e-reader, a Kindle PaperWhite, and my daughter put hundreds of books on it for me. E-readers are a bit strange since you are always on the same page, but I really liked how you could put your finger on a word and open the dictionary or even Wiki to read up on whatever it was. However, after about five months of reading four to five books a week, I exhausted myself. I am currently taking a break from reading anything except a little bit of the Bible occasionally, and recovery literature at meetings :) If you are ever looking for something fabulous to read in a certain genre, I may be able to help :)

That's cool. I did consider an ebook but I settled with books so I never run out of battery. :) I'm finding that I love reading biographies, anything you can recommend? Christian biographies, I haven't read any cause I'm reading a few right now, just books from my mom's mini library. I find them kindof boring really, world history bores me out it's a struggle lol. But life stories, I love, I heard of this good testimony book "Seeking Allah: Finding Jesus" a highly intellectual Muslim's conversion to Christianity and how he compared Q'uran and the bible before believing Jesus. I think it's very encouraging and inspiring.

I have tried kindle on a few books. just does not seem to be the same.. I would rather have the real book. But it is nice in some things, like you said, to look up words and such..

Please everyone lift up my wife's friend "Chris" to the Lord in prayer. She had surgery yesterday and is back in the hospital with complications from internal bleeding. Could be life threatening.

Thank you! Update on Chris. She is currently stable and is having another surgery. Under normal circumstances she would have been fine after the first surgery but they discovered she has a rare bleeding disorder in which she is not clotting. Prayers for her are much appreciated!
