Resists the urge to start a thread topic about World War 3. Resistance successful.

Do you think this terror in Paris will start WWIII? I know we can't take War lightly but with what's happening now, it's almost clear where this is headed.
Yes I do, I think it is already there.
There have been lots of terrorist attacks especially in the last year. With the current events and it coinciding with blood moon I think the time is short. I think we will unfortunately start seeing a lot more of these attacks. They started off smaller and now they are leading up to the more larger catastrophic attacks.
It will be horrendous to witness we just have to stay strong spirited and know that God is in control of all of this.
It makes me so angry to see what is taking place but I know it is only going to get worse and to brace for it.
Think of all the countries that are involved already and who are fighting in Syria.
Seems like ISIS are well trained and organised, I highly doubt they are done, and I know it is only the beginning for them.

True, and with their increasing numbers in Indonesia (largest Muslim population) it does seem to be getting worse.

Do you think that the Indonesians seem as radical as the arabs though?

To Jesus they are not "these people" that means I cannot have that mindset. I have to battle my flesh which is screaming with rage, hate and prejudice.

I grew up near Dearborn so the Muslim influx to the country is not something I am unfamiliar with.

I can't let Muslims become "these people" because they are precious in His sight and He does not desire that ANY be lost

no matter how we feel about it
Have you read the bible? Its your flesh telling you to submit to the PC nonsense you have been taught ...Jesus (the Word of God) calls these people what they are and condemns both there false religion of hate and murder..and their actions of murder and rape. These people are like all the other enemies of God that unless they repent and turn from their wickedness will burn in hell..... If you think God is more concerned about the wicked than the righteous ..that He is not just to punish these people when they murder the innocent and weak? When they rape small children and enslave women? You don't know the God of the bible...you have been taught a false god.

I don't think so, they've been very peaceful for a long time. But the ISIS propaganda there wasn't completely denied so that's not a good thing. They give them seminars and free food, so that's something for us to watch out for.

The terrorists come from all over the world. It's their indoctrination with salafist ideas that make them terrorists, not ethnicity. The Syrian Arab Army is composed mostly of Sunni Arabs and they hate jihadists. Chechnya is Muslim and they hate terrorists.

I think there is such a thing as righteous indigence. Yes we can pray for Muslims to be saved,we can share Christ with them. But the Muslim faith is demonic, straight from hell. People are in bondage to satan in this "religion". They are brain washed and indoctrinated to hate,to violence and murder. That must be stopped. We cannot sit by as we are doing, not like we did when 6 million Jews were exterminated.

Reports are coming in that on Monday France will invoke Article 5 of the NATO Mutual Defense Treaty. NATO’s collective defense clause compels all NATO members – including America – to fight alongside France against ISIS...

If France involkes Article 5, it is essentially declaring war, not just an authorization for the use of military force.

France goes to war with ISIS: Start of World War 3?
This was discussed on the Sunday news shows. It would require NATO countries to support their efforts. This is something that Putin is hoping for, as his goal is to break up NATO, and this move could cause that to happen.

Let's hope so. It served a purpose at one time, but it's past it's expiration date. NATO has become an aggressor that threatens world peace.

ISIS is essentially composed of highly organised international criminals. They have no sovereign state to declare war upon.

Which is why I don't think a war would actually put a stop to terrorism. The wars after 9/11 didn't stop them, why would a new war succeed to stop them? New Islamists always seem to arise and "re-incarnate" in new brainwashed people. We can't stop hate, unfortunately.

Besides, terrorists are suicidal, they are not afraid to die; probably they can't wait for it in order to receive their 17 (or is it 70?), virgins in "heaven".. In their opinion, they defeated Americans with the 9/11 even if after the event Americans went and beat them (or their people) in their countries. Terrorists don't care neither for themselves, neither for the people they train and much less for innocent Muslims that could get caught in war...

So...the best solution I see (so far) is to increase security in your country. To be more careful who you let inside your country and to put more police on the streets.

Now a help/ hindrance from an unexpected source...

Anonymous to ISIS: 'War is unleashed' - CSMonitor.com

The hacking group Anonymous redoubled its cyberwar against the Islamic State (IS) "to defend our values and our freedom" after Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris, which killed 129 civilians as they enjoyed a soccer match, dinner at a café or a rock concert.A number of videos from Anonymous-affiliated accounts appeared online this weekend in French, Italian, and English, with presenters wearing the hacking collective's signature Guy Fawkes mask.
"We are going to launch the most important operation ever carried out against you," a robed figure warns in one video, as news footage of the attacks plays in the background. "War is unleashed. Prepare yourselves."

This morning I read about a "massive strike" made by France on ISIS targets in Syria. Then I discovered that 10 planes dropped a total of 20 bombs. That kinda reminds me of Bill Clinton's 1990's cruise missile attack on Bin Laden. Just stirred the hornets nest.

My friends, we are being attacked by people who will die for their warped ideology. If anyone thinks that ISIS will be eliminated by surgical, or massive air strikes on the level of France's response, they have their head in the sand. If you believe that the elimination of Islam will stop this senseless violence, you have crawled in a hole and pulled the sand in over you. There are plenty of radical groups waiting for their turn to take over the world. Until the Lord Jesus returns, the world situation will not improve significantly. Until that happens, we will be playing Whack-a-Mole for the foreseeable future.

What the West's survival ultimately hinges on is whether it gets in touch with what has made it distinctive for centuries- our political and cultural institutions that have translated directly to success on the battlefield from Gaugamela through Midway. Not only must we understand these things, but believe in their nobility and worthiness to sustain.

Radical muslims and their moderate, mainstream enablers have a clear, transcendent vision of what they would like to propagate. They have derived from this a plan of action.

In the aftermath of this attack and others that will surely come, we can croon on about our "values" worth protecting. We have generations of people though who are under the impression that there are no values at all save those that bring them a steady flow of dopamine.

Some regions of the West will awaken. Others will remain asleep to have their necks sawed through by radical Islam. Either way, a brush with death and appearance of a barbaric foe may be what the West needs most as it unravels itself.

That's an interesting observation... the Bible talks about wars and rumors of wars... wars are fought against countries - could rumors of war mean action against people who have no real country?

I'm not a liberal. I'm against both ends of the spectrum. Conservatives give the country away to the rich, liberals give it away to the lazy and indigent. Neither is good for any of us. But that's what we're going to continue to get until all of you decide that you've had enough and THROW BOTH SIDES OUT!!!

It's true - as long as you support one or the other you'll get the government you deserve!

Talk about needing a noogie..!

Our foe is simple, injustice blamed on having the wrong religious viewpoint. It relies on overreaction and provocation, breaking down the opposition into being extreme and over reaching themselves, before everything is co-ordinated and together.

Paris is still just 8 nutcases. The real question is simple, will the respect for ones fellow man conquer religious and sectarian hatred. ISIS train their followers to become psychopaths and able to murder at will innocents while calling them guilty. They are often the refuse and dislocated of our society, who see everyone else as the enemy to which the language of Muhammed fits like a hand in a glove.

They loose if we do things slowly, contained, bring real justice, social structure, care, compassion and truth to bare. They have no answer to this. Those who have murdered, butchered, raped need to stand trial.

Equally the morality of this form of Islam needs to stand trial because it is as insane, but it is just one step away from every muslim on the planet. But that is the discussion that must be had, and stopping the excuses and lies about Muhammed's approach to his enemies. Love and mercy are not words he used.

Is this WWIII? Not yet if it is played the right way. ISIS want it to be, but we have a choice and they are very weak.
Their strength is in their hatred and willingness to die, but the hatred is miss-placed and the willingness to die hangs on theology of the Caliphate. No caliphate and it all falls apart.
