New Orleans to Remove Statues

Well its sure as blinking well is not being taught in schools. It doesn't stop racism,it doesn't change a heart.Its just another empty PC gesture that means nothing.

Even so let's use it to our advantage to press them to destroy these idols full legally without need for violence or vigilantism and as praise to Jesus. In this way we have more contemporary precedent to use the government as a tool to tackle the voodoo and other pagan crap problems not just in the south and in New Orleans, but all over America as we see the good Americans now doing with the fantastic pushing back against islam in Virginia.

I personally do not care if they remove or relocate the various statues they are in a fuss over. What I do care about is that they use the exact same standard to remove or relocate OTHER statues/signs ........ whatever that are ALSO offensive to some. Oh, I don't know, say all the statues/signs/shops dedicated to Voodoo worship? I kinda find them offensive, BUT the majority of the citizens of New Orleans are black, and they are those who are involved in Voodoo worship......sooooo

well last time I checked people still had religious freedom in America so if that is their religion then they are entitled to it...tax paying citizensdecided they did not want these statues in their community and the decision was made.Would a Jewish community want a statue of Heinrich Himmler in in their neighborhood?? it happened,..the Civil War is over, the south lost..get over it

I understand exactly what they did, and have stated here on this thread that I don't care, because it doesn't bother me one way or the other. I suggest you read your last sentence and then look in the mirror......or, at least read the comments of others with some sense of honesty............

It is what is is...neighborhood in which most of the people who live there are black.....anyway the police have advised these idiots thats sunceKentucky has a Stand Your Ground law it might not be a good idea to make threats

Think about it...these guys drove all the way from another county just to come to a black neighborhood with their Confederate flags. just because you have the right to do something,does not necessarily mean it is the right thing to do. I wish more people understood this concept.

If they had their way, they would remove the names of most of our founding fathers from historical records. There are a thousand things more important for their city council to address. This changes nothing for the people. They are not safer. The roads and bridges are not going to be repaired. Taxes are still going up, not down. This is PC police trying to do something to prove they deserve their paychecks.

People were forced to defend their property against the slaughter and pillaging and burning.

I have an interesting question in regards to this. The swastika had a different meaning before hitler that is still being used today. I believe religions like Buddhism and Hinduism use it. So what happens if they dont realize they are driving through a Jewish neighborhood or forget it is there? People tend to group swastikas with the nazis, but that isn't entirely correct...
