[TD="colspan: 3, align: left"]Do you know that it is God’s will for you to be healed? In fact, Jesus always healed the sick who came to Him. The blind, lame, maimed, mute, deaf and demon-possessed—He healed them all! (Matthew 8:16)

The Bible says that he who has seen Jesus has seen the Father. (John 14:9) You want to see what God is like? Look at Jesus! He never gave sickness to anybody. You never find Jesus looking at a person, a fine specimen of a man, and saying, “Come here. You are too healthy. Receive some leprosy!” In fact, when a leper came to Him for healing, Jesus, full of compassion, told the leper, “I am willing; be cleansed.”

Unfortunately, there are some Christians who say, “It is God’s will for me to be sick. God has some purpose, some mysterious purpose for my situation. It is all part of His divine plan and we shall all know in the sweet by and by, the reason why!” But these same people go to their doctors to get well. They take their medication and rest. Why do they do that if they really believe that God wants them sick? Doesn’t make sense, does it?

Come on, what makes perfect sense is this: God wants you well. He wants you whole. His will is for you to be healed! In fact, He is so willing that He took all your sicknesses and diseases upon His own body, so that you don’t have to suffer them today! He allowed Himself to be beaten and scourged, so that by His scourging—by His stripes—you are healed! (Isaiah 53:5) Since He has already suffered the sickness on your behalf, why should you suffer it today?

So my friend, if you are sick, know that God did not give you the disease. Read every healing miracle that Jesus did in the Gospels and see how Jesus is the Lord who heals you. (Exodus 15:26) Hear His gracious words, “I am willing, be healed,” and know that they are as much for you today as they were for the leper!

I know and believe that I can be healed and cured of my problems, I ask for this knowing full well that I can be restored 100%, so why am I not healed?

Yes, but in some cases He does put us through sickness in order to see the truth, like how Jonah was put into the belly and as for the Blind man that was born blind.

James 1:6
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

John 20:27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone.

Sickness exists because of our own and other peoples stupidity.
In rare occasions God allowed Satan to prove it when he threw up some new ridiculous issue which is always made up for manyfold.

As far as healing goes.....it is the will of the Father for all of us to be well physically...some don't get healed...the same way some people get saved and others don't.....some do get healed...

Whether people get saved or healed has nothing to do with what the Father's will is for us.....obviously there are "other reasons " why people don't get saved or healed. That's a question for the Lord.

..our outer body is getting older and decaying away and thank God we will get a new one some day..but sickness is not from God.

All who came to Jesus were healed..

You never see Jesus saying to those who came to Him for healing saying anything like the examples below:

1) I can't heal you today as you have sin in your life....

2) No healing for you until you repent of hating your mother-in-law

3) No can do..no healing for you...you have a generational curse that needs to be taken care of first.

4) Definitely I will NOT heal you - as the Father wants to "teach" you something

All these above are man-made traditions and religious beliefs not grounded on the word of God. We cannot make our experience change what Jesus did in His life here on earth to reveal the heart and will of our good, loving Father.

Jesus did the will of the Father. God does not cause sickness to happen but He sure can prove His love and grace for us in every situation when we are attacked and will meet us where our faith is at the time.

Jesus is perfect theology:

Jesus is the exact representation of the Father's nature and displayed His heart and will for us. Jesus said no one knows my Father. So, whatever understanding of God we get from the Old Covenant that doesn't line up with Jesus' manifestation of the Father will be inaccurate.

Hebrews 1:1-3 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways,
[SUP]2 [/SUP] in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Wrong, more wrong, most wrong.

If you actually read the bible you would very well know that it is satan/mankind ruling currently.
Though people who seek the truth and actually apply it to themselves will even in these times result in a much healthier environment in general.

When the sovereignity issue is answered, soon, Jesus' kingdom is the only path to healing for humanity and will rule over earth for a period.

Grace777x70...I couldn't agree with you more! Amen! You resonate with what Smith Wigglesworth and John G. Lake advocated for decades! You hit the nail right on the head on this topic. I do realize that Smith Wigglesworth had a daughter who was deaf..her entire life! He also faced criticism when fellow "CHRISTIANS" kept asking him, "So why do you wear glasses?". Go figure! Have you ever heard any sensible human say "God, give me more pain and suffering because I know that you're making me better for it!!!

Amen!...We can only carry people so far with our own faith. Wigglesworth operated in the gifts of healings and the working of miracles but it was as the Spirit wills..not him. His daughter has to stand like all of us in life on our own faith. Even if Wigglesworth daughter was never born-again..it would still not negate Smith telling people to be born-again is needed.

There is a difference from our body wearing out and to have a sickness.

Makes sense to me! Even Lazarus, whom JESUS raised from the dead...had to eventually die once and for all!

Our body wears out because of sickness we can't even pinpoint yet.
Many different things that start small and effects that can grow larger.

How can you be on a bible study forum and not knkw the most basic biblical principles.
Such as why we started dying when started doing wrong to nature ourselves and others, to god.

Previous cases of resurrection were simply because he was there and they served as proof as well.

According to the bible his kingdom will rule over man again.

Your god is weak if he wants something but can't get what he wants without the aid of humans. Yes, God can heal. Yes, God has healed. He's healed me before. He's healed hubby before. And yet, I am disabled and hubby is in the hospital following a massive heart attach and then one complication after another afterward.

Yes, God will heal, but not necessarily every physically sick person who is adopted by him. At least, not on earth and not today. He has purpose in this suffering, just as he has purpose in healing some. He did NOT sleep on the job and forget to notice some sickness or accident caused one of his kids to get physically hurt.

And he is not impeded by humans if he wants to cure someone either.

I give you one of two choices:
1. Come to the VA hospital in Philly and have God instantly heal my husband.
or
2. Shut up!

There is enough pain in life without having someone pressing this lie as gospel.

Stop blaming God's inaction on a person. Healing isn't from our strength. It's from God's strength. If we're not healed, even when we believe we can be, it is because God has a purpose in that weakness.

Ah, considering who is agreeing with you, who you are agreeing with, and yet neither one seems to be dealing with "sense" at all, this is wasted time.

Sickness does NOT exist because of stupidity.. It exists because we live in a fallen, evil world in which satan is free to wreak havoc as he sees fit. That being said, satan did not, and does not create sickness. God gives us trials every day, so obviously he DOES try us.
