I'm trying very hard to avoid telling my personal opinion on the alien question, (one of the few things that hubby and I disagree about), but those verses don't prove or disprove aliens. God is talking about heaven and earth, not the universe.

You have a point, and I do get very concerned. It's been too long a time to remember any details, but there was one babe in that city in the sky I'd hate to see taken out!

Pork rinds are good. I agree with your assessment about the celery. Carrot sticks can be problematic as well.

I think it's very possible. It's difficult to believe that with the vastness of the universe, that we are the only "life" forms. I don't waste any time worrying about it, though.
Do I think there are other life forms that are way more intelligent than us, and will come and "take over"... nope.

I will say, if there ARE other life forms, then God has probably a whole different plan for them that has nothing to do with us. I think the Bible is for US, and tells us of the family of Adam, who was made in God's image. I believe there are lots of things out there that the Bible doesn't cover, because we don't really need to know about it.
I don't want to eat of the tree of good and evil....it didn't work out well the last time...:p

Seriously, scripture talks about God judging earth. Humanity. If intelligent life really lives on other planets don't you think they will be really ticked at us knowing their destruction is based on earthlings?

IF there is life out there it isn't for us to know about or God would have said, but there is nothing in scripture that indicates this.

Because of Adam's sin all creation is affected.

All the theories and discussions are to create the idea that God does not exist or that the aliens are what we know as gods because they have advanced technology.

The universe is wonderfully made by God. The more we learn of the universe the more we can see how small we are in the universe. Makes us even more special in Gods creation. In the vast expanse of the infinite universe here is us made in the image and likeness of God.
