Its a viable point Rachel is making. About maybe a month ago, I wrote on this site, on some other thread, I can't recall which one, it's not that important where I wrote it anyway, that no candidate is ever going to get elected from any party if he or she takes a firm, real stance against abortion.
And there be the quandary. So say your like Rachel, and you just don't vote, I would not be critical of that person.
Or you think well, better to see a person in the presidency that has a majority of my views then a Clinton. HC would be a horror to most of us here on this site.
And our countries laws regarding the unborn are a horror to many of us and the Lord.
So in truth, even as I write this, part of the problem is us. We have lost on so many fronts over the decades, to what is really, in some circumstances, a small vocal minority that controls the media, and in other cases our own compromising (not all of us, maybe not even the majority, but way to many Christians in my estimation - it seems especially a lot of Catholics; maybe more then any denomination, I am not dumping on them, just stating what is probably a fact). Maybe we do need to just take a hard stance and say we are voting for Gods law and will. And trust him and let Him work it out through His will and our prayers calling out for the sanctity of life for the unborn.
But again, conversely, if someone said the me that we are part of this society, and God wants us to vote, and be active and change things in that manner, I would not put an argument against that either.
To be transparent though, I would to tend to say I am not voting for anyone. But it is such a debatable subject, tomorrow I might say I need to vote.
Only one way I know of to solve this, time for prayer !!
