Sorry. I brought that up after your post not laying blame on you. (I really am sorry about that. Should have made the connection earlier, huh? It did seem like I was blaming you when you were one of the real peacemakers. I didn't mean to do that, but I did. Forgive me?)
But, to clarify what I was saying, mostly to those who I believe were drawn in before they understood what was going on, but are Christian enough to reconsider their position:
I brought that up because we're talking about this thread being dead, when it shouldn't be dead. YIG was judged by the actions of another. Worse yet, he was judged by a mistake someone made. (Someone thought it was YIG when the real culprit was Thomas. I get the mistake. They came along roughly the same time and are different enough from most that it would be easy to do that.) And everyone jumped on that bandwagon and went for it.
Lots of people talk about doing the right thing, but it is more characteristic of this site to jump on a bandwagon rather than figure out if that is the right thing. Lots of talk about double standards on here. (Also not brought up by you.) One standard remains the same. Even after proven wrong, it doesn't matter if someone was hurt. Image matters.
No one has asked YIG for forgiveness yet!
The high road seems to be to go back and be quiet again.

We were just laughing about using that Python sketch, and replacing the word Parrot with the word Thread, as a general comedy bit for ANY threads, not as a direct fire at THIS one, nor to any of the posters here. It's all good. Here, have some cheese.

The time to apologize or ask for forgiveness has expired. Even if it hadn't, I'd have serious doubts about the sincerity of the half-hearted "sorry" I'd get from people. It makes no difference. It's entirely too much to expect people to do the right thing by each other, and I'm wise enough to know that.
If my "fan club" would like to follow me around to see if I make any other perceived faux pas they can jump on and try to use as ammo against me to fuel their righteous indignation, I will be posting regularly in Misc. and in the Singles forums. Stop on by.
