I select option 1 .. To be a Christian one must believe Jesus and understand the Gospel.. They did not understand the Gospel before the Holy Spirit indwelled them and caused them to understand who Jesus really was and why He did what He did..

A Christian is a Christian to me.. It's like a pregnant woman.. you cannot have a half pregnant woman.. And you cannot have a half Christian , Christian..

I believe Jesus only takes away the sins of those individuals who believe Him and trust in the Atonement He secured by His death upon the cross..

4/turn sinners into new sinless creations

I believe no flesh human being has ever been turned into a sinless flesh human being that will happen for some upon the day of the resurrection/rapture not beforehand..

5/make the HS freely available to all and sundry

This one is a hard one to answer quickly.. The Holy Spirit of God has been working on people in the OT and NT times by working on their consciences and moving them/ calling them.. The difference is that upon the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit first indwelled human beings ,, made human beings temples of His Holy Spirit.. But only when they come to believe Jesus .. So His Holy Spirit works upon people from the outside and only enters within them when they believe Jesus..

Yes, the holy spirit is working within believers for guidance, inspiration and we are to GROW in Christ . . . just because one is filled with the holy spirit does NOT make one PERFECT. Because we are still frail human beings who tend to fall short . . . we will still endure all those things that are common to man.

Just because we have partaken of the divine nature does not make us perfect in the flesh . . .

God gives his Children who serve him, and Obey his word Understanding of his Word. Many others cannot see it. Reason being because God's Recorded Word, has Types & Shadows, Dual Meanings, Typeologies etc. If it was all literal, our common Enemy, Satan, would have destroyed God's Word eons ago.

God gives his Wisdom to those who totally love and serve him, and do not try to outsmart God with personal knowledge of their own.

You, and I have to humble ourselves, and search, pray, and ask for his Wisdom we do not possess..

Yes He did... that "ye" shall receive power. The "ye" to whom He was speaking did indeed receive power, just as did later converts when the Holy Spirit came upon them. So is there something else you're getting at?

Christ after His resurrection stayed and continued to teach His disciples for 40 days. His last commandment was Mark 16:The Great Commission
