There are certain people on this forum that will defend evil and attack righteousness ..every time ...call good what is evil and call evil what is good.

Yep. That one is probably the first arrow in the quiver of those who feel threatened by an opposing opinion. ;)
Followed at a close 2nd place is "Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no arm". I've heard Benny Hinn throw that one around a lot.
There are some contributors who feel legalism or religion is satans inspiration.
I was thinking about this in church today, and trying to summarise my problem with it.
And the answer is the heart, where your heart lies.

If your heart lies with Jesus and love, then everything will fall into place.
Yes people get distracted, miss the real meaning, miss spirituality completely but without
your heart in the right place it will always be wrong.

I suspect such contributors have a formula, and if you do not fit the frame you are part
of the conspiracy.

But the truth is everyone will interpret all the right words the wrong way when their hearts
are off centre. It is why Jesus talked about where your treasure actually is.

You know when churches go wrong when the leaders opinion matters more than Gods, or
the right teacher is needed, or the right lens to interpret things by. All we need is honest,
child like innocence and the Holy Spirit. I even saw a thread where someone took this
approach and was called apostate before they really shared anything. So little faith in
Christ and His Spirit.

That's a very bold statement. So bold in fact that it wraps everything up for you and any opinion other than yours is automatically wrong. Must be nice being so smart. We dummies are so lucky to have someone like you around that has it all figured out.
I wonder how he feels about Martin Luther who called James' epistle "an epistle of straw"? :D

Yeah, I know already - HERETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So are you calling Pauls epistles "straw"? James epistle is not the foundation of the gospel and the reason Luther questioned that epistle was because it appeared in places to contradict Pauls epistles . I'm sure you can find a forum that allows it members to reject Pauls writtings ... lots of heretical groups out there ...I would encourage you to find a place like that ... Be sure that folks here will defend the Word of God and especially Pauls epistles.

I'd love to discuss the post trib theory (after all, they're all theories at this point in time) but from what I've seen in that thread it would be a waste of time. Folks have divided up into camps and are too busy fighting each other to learn anything. Many were the times in the past that someone was able to move me from one position to another with sound reasoning and logic. Not much of that going on around here.

I discovered Monty Python's Flying Circus as a preteen when Alabama Public TV ran reruns of the show in the 70's. Fell in love with them immediately and sought out their records. Bought them all and wore them out. Introduced my daughter to them when she was in junior high school and now she's doing the same with my granddaughter.

And don't worry about some folks here attacking me because "It's just a scratch!!". ;)

Why do you assume I'm a JW? What's wrong with you?

This forum is a hoot. Say absolutely anything, and guaranteed there will be some knucklehead to come along and take it in a way that they can get flustered about. A sociologist could do an ethnography on this place and publish dozens of articles.

This thread defines and showcases the op.

Its like Officer Mayo wound em up,set em down, and watched em go like a wind up toy.

Too funny

It's funny how your number of posts condemning me is less than the number of private messages I've received from forum members warning me about you and your tactics. You aren't very well thought of by the majority of folks here.

Holler and scream all you'd like 'cause I ain't going anywhere. Strap in tight! :D

I thought only Brits understood the Monty Python films. Lol
And American men. (I'm still trying to float that story, but when I do all these women tell me they like them too. I don't get it. lol)

Since the question has been raised, a simple yes or no, which you have so far not answered would help me understand where you are coming from.

To the OP:

Do you believe that the words of Paul, as written in the Bible, are inspired?

Thanks in advance.

Clearly you have reading comprehension issues ...the guy who started this thread has made very clear he does not regard the epistles written by Paul as the "Word of God" .... anyone with a working brain and a honest heart can see that.
Yeah. A BA in Communication. Nothing screams "reading comprehension issues" louder than that degree.

As I never said that they weren't there's no reason to be asked this question.

Just as I quoted what Martin Luther said about James and then Whatshisname said I was calling Paul's epistles straw.

Apparently the scriptures aren't the only thing getting twisted here by some.
