What's weird is that the dude in the pic is a guy named Blake Steven who claims that he permanently moved into an apartment in LA in a YouTube video 4 days ago... and said he was already in a relationship with the girl in the pic in a Q&A last year...
Nice catch BruceWayne, it also seems impossible b/c to close on a house so fast in this economy is absolute bs....they just don't hand them out like candy to people w/o checking credit, loan info etc....not to mention the age changes from 34 to 28 to 22 today....someone too bored and messing around on the internet.....

Next will be guys breaking news.....I found a cure to cancer! or some other whacko idea.....

That's the thing about Christianity, though.

God calls His people to be honest, especially with each other.[/QUOTE

you will be happy to know that my Avatar is my actual cat puffy. I didn't pull her out of some ally and borrow her for a few seconds. I actually am as boring as I portray myself to be. :)

I also heard a rumor that she's just put in an offer...

For a $3 million dollar cat house.

I was kidding about the other profiles...

Actually, the things that I posted are slightly embellished reality. I didn't want to make it too similar to myself, so I made up the timeline, but like I said, a lot of the things that I said were true. I am dating my best friend, I am looking for my first house, my accident stories were all true, my family has been paleo forever, I did move to Austin when I was six, and I DO live in San Francisco.

I might also add that I didn't make the alias's because I don't feel like anyone cares about the real me, I just don't want any person on the internet to be able to view private details and struggles of my life and know who I am. I guess that I just got a little carried away! I signed up for an account because I genuinely wanted advice on stuff. I will be back as myself in the near future, but it's time to retire LeonT and California91. They might make an appearance in one of my books someday though :)

Keep the faith. One thing that was never embellished was my Christianity. I take my faith seriously.

From one Christian to another, what you did isn't cool. I am now wondering how many more Leon's are on CC. I don't know if you meant any harm but causing people who are trusting good people to doubt their discretion about others isn't Godly in any way. It shows me that you aren't a very mature trustworthy person. Driving a Volvo doesn't make you a grown up.

If you aren't actually just a troll and you care about people, then I hope you learned something from this and don't do it again.

Oh and by the way please don't any one text this young man. He might be a scam artist, please use discretion and don't buy what he's selling.

She has, with her own person to jump on and scare the crap out of when they're walking down the hall.

Everything that you post on the internet stays with you forever. If you post your name on an internet site, you might as well give up your address, phone number, email, etc. With all of the psychos online today, I'll keep my info safe, thanks.

Anyway, CC is pretty cool, and you guys were encouraging! Thanks :)
Yep ..its us who has issues :)

Well I mean, thanks for telling the truth now, I know many people wouldn't even do that.

I was on myspace for four years posting in the religion section
when the site was sold and all the threads and everything
that anyone had said up to that point was removed forever.
October 26, 2011, yep, yep, nope, it don't last forever.

The next site I went to, testifying to nonbelievers for the following four years, had
a system where old content was automatically cleared off the servers to save space.
I am not sure how long anything lasted... maybe up to a couple of years.

The other funny thing to me is that people will say, "Oh, the internet is a crazy place, I must protect my privacy!!!"

So they then proceed to make up an online identity that's designed for anything BUT privacy.

"Look at me! I'm gorgeous! I have lots of money! I bid on multi-million dollar houses and drive expensive cars!!"

Um... If you're looking to stay anonymous... That's not the way to do it.

Because bringing that kind of attention to yourself is also going to draw in people who are capable of finding out exactly who you really are.

I respect him for coming clean. It takes a lot of courage to admit a wrongdoing. Did he do it? Yep. Was it wrong? Of course, but I give at least a little respect to those who own up and take responsibility

It would seem to contribute the the very problem they wish to avoid.
They can't trust anyone so will behave in an untrustworthy manner.

I totally respect you for feeling this way, Natania.

My thing is though, someone who's told that many lies... is typically not telling the truth when he "comes clean", either.

At least, this has been my own experience. "The truth" and "lies" all become the same.

That's true. He did own it. Was he sincere in that? Who knows. But if no one said anything, he would still be going with it. So I'm not gonna give him much credit lol.
