You CANNOT be a bi-sexual AND a practicing Christian.. God says laying with the same sex is an abomination. And there are already a gazillion threads in this forum and elsewhere, on this topic..

Well his/her/they're other post says 'I think I need help'.
This female labeled new user with a male secular rapper screen name saying they need help in one thread and offering hope in another. Don't think we can say for certain what their intentions are.

Bisexuals are greedy. It's like driving down the middle of the road. Pick a lane and stay there!

the term is not a reality it is a perversion and there are no lanes to pick there is only the Plan of God for the context of sexual relation between one man and one women in marriage

I can respect a person, for what ever disorder they have, be it medical, mental or spiritual, that causes them to have a predilection towards a sexual deviant behavior, but never acts on it, knowing it is wrong.

Pick God or pick decadence. It's simple really.

Problems come when there is a 3rd and 4th lane to go down as well.

I know there are times when someone is desperate to escape a sin or addiction, then crys out to God and next morning they are over it. However there are plenty of others who come to know Christ with addictions or perversions or set in certain ways of life but still have the weakness to continue it. Those people are still Christians there is a fight and battle to overcome, sometimes that can take a lifetime.

You can be a Christian and gay, just as you can be a Christian and a drug addict, gambler, adulter, theif and so on.

I disagree with the first part of your last sentence. You CANNOT be a christian AND an active gay person at the same time. Christianity don't work like that. Darkness cannot dwell with light.....

Interesting topic, considering I literally burned my self help books on homosexuality and "coming out of the closet" last night. As an author and lover of books, the idea of destroying a book I didn't agree with has always seemed abhorrent to me. However, I have come to hate my former sin, and those books represented a sinful time of rebellion in my life. (Notice, sin, not person).

There is an argument whether or not homosexuality is inborn. Anyone could pull out articles from the APA, animal studies, etc to argue a case. The argument rests on the assumptions that if it is inborn, then it is natural, and then it cannot be sin. However, we cannot assume that what comes "naturally" to us is not necessarily sin.

"Well why would God make me like that?!"
I don't have all the answers. I do know that we live in a fallen world and darkness abounds in many forms. Although this is harsh, it is true: God is God and we are not. Don't ask why he made you that way, rather, ask how you can submit to Him. He is the Almighty and he "knows the plans he has" for us. His plans are for good. However, our own darkness and desire for sin can get in the way. Don't let a desire of the flesh inhibit your relationship with God.

And it isn't just people with homosexual tendencies who are to behave, it's heterosexual people too! We're not to look at anyone lustfully, have sexual relations before marriage, among other things.

So to anyone reading this who is battling with this sin, know that you are loved. YOU are loved. YOU are wanted and beloved by God and he is knocking at the door of your heart. I know you feel like this is a part of who you are and therefore--how can you separate yourself from it? The answer lies in fully submitting to God. Tell God that you want to honor him and do what He commands and that the bible teaches this is sinful. Tell Him you want a right relationship with him, and confess that you can't do it on your own.

For me, God has not made me a heterosexual overnight. It started with a removal of desire. It was not an easy process, but I encourage you to reach out to Him and be honest with Him. My goodness, He knows what you're thinking anyway, at least let Him help.

YOU are not alone, YOU are loved, there IS hope within the darkness and I pray that anyone who struggles and is reading this be encouraged, uplifted, and willing to submit to God.

SO you are saying that only genuine Christians are incapable of sinning?

ALL christians are capable of sinning. BUT, one cannot call themself a christian while knowingly practicing the homosexual lifestyle, and refusing to repent of it... Otherwise, that person is only making a mockery of christianity, God, and themselves.. JMO

I'm "gay" and married to a woman. I don't have physical sex with other people outside my marriage. I do watch gay porn.

I don't think of myself as any less "pure" "worthy" "christian" "insert spiritualized qualifier", than any average run of the mill straight christian, who is also physically faithful, but watches porn.

When straight people Christian or not, point the finger at whatever disability another Christian has and decides for them if they are Christian or not, based on the disability.... well, that person needs to read their bible more thoroughly. Last I checked, we were all sinners (who deserve DEATH, not just a harsh scolding).

That is a total cop out.. Homosexuality is NOT a "disability". It IS an abomination unto God, however. A disability would be something such as epilepsy, or missing limbs or being wheelchair-bound. An unrepentant homosexual is going to one place, and it ain't gonna be heaven.
