Hi everyone, I would just like to apologies publicly for this comment, I jumped into a conversation when I didn't have all the facts. After reading some of the other posts Rachel bible student has written, I very must disagree with her bad attitude and wrong use of scripture. Please accept my apologies. Especially renewened hope - I was wrong and I admit this. Also Im sorry for being judgmental towards your attitude when I dont know you or know what your intentions were.
I must tell you that I was shocked and extremely hurt by what was said, but God teaches us all throughout scripture to love one another because he loves us so much that he sent his son to die as a perfect sacrifice. This also includes forgiveness and let me tell you all is forgiven and there is absolutely no amniosity towards you of any kind. I hope we can get to know each other and move past this :)

To be fair, the soviets had free elections...... for those who are party members, and yeah only one party was allowed. Did I mention most candidates were unopposed.
They also had freedom of speech.

As long as you spoke through Pravda. :p

Well, a late-night USA television host Bill Mahr started his show by saying, (paraphrase) "So, let's make things easier here with a show of hands: Who here has NOT been groped by Donald Trump?"
I'm sticking with Mr. Trump because he has repented of his past behaviors publicly, and Pres. Clinton did far more to harm women. Mr. Trump said he will not let the voters down, and I believe he deserves that chance after all the hard work he has done to get the job. Afterall, America can always say: "YOU'RE FIRED!!" Hillary just doesn't seem to have the "right stuff" in my opinion to lead a country in crisis. And her enthusiastic support of Planned Parenthood, an agency that most women find sickening, is disgusting. 58 million aborted human beings is far more sickening to God than a man with issues in his past who has apparently overcome them and is able to make command decisions for a nation in crisis. Ms. Clinton is a Washington insider in the "Circle of Mistrust," and I think America should move on--forward, not backward.
Actually it was Bill Maher

Mr Sanders' ideology is different from anything we've seen on American soil.

it's actually deeply rooted in America.

social security. medicare. the food and drug administration. public schools. public libraries. minimum wage. OSHA. income tax. unemployment insurance. workman's compensation. WIC. public housing authority. the federal highway system. public landfills. police and firefighters. the VA. farm subsidies. vaccinations. museums. public water/sewage systems. the G.I. bill. Pell grants for university education. the NSF. public transportation. state and federal parks and beaches. etc. etc.

democratic socialism isn't the alien monster trying to destroy the American way of life that the established political parties make it out to be. a large part of it actually is the American way of life. it's the things that actually make this a great country to live in -- public works programs, federal projects that benefit the community writ-large, and oversight in labor, banking and corporate enterprise.

of course we have a 'new red scare' painting it as something it's not. it's not 'communism' and it's not 'gulags and little red books.'
every day every one of us enjoys services and is protected by reforms that come directly from this 'ideology'

to be fair, democratic socialism and communist dictatorship are entirely different things.

((unless you happen to be either an entrenched major party, or a victim of their propaganda))

look at the ballot right now:
two unopposed, unsavory, untrustworthy, undesirable, liberal demagogues to choose from.
so what kind of '
freedom of choice' do you think you actually have?

the machine railroaded Ron Paul out, and they railroaded Bernie Sanders out. honest men who actually want to benefit the populace don't exactly have a place in our electoral politics. we have two '
state parties' that are practically one party putting on a show, busying up and dividing the people with partisan aggression against each other.

Strange how atleast in this area, all those public institutions you list cost way more then their private equivalent. In this area, public schools spend over 14k per student, yet the private school tuition is about 7500.

And what would the Soviet Union be with their legally mandated one party rule?

King David was worse than Trump, killing the husband of the woman he committed adultery with, yet God loved him. Not saying that God loves Trump, but he hasn't killed anyone. Same can't be said of Hillary.

Of course you are right about this being the practical way of running a society. My point, however, is that ideologically, no politician, except from said Sanders has come clean, at least not that outspoken, about these, what you refer to as democratic socialism. The irony is that the practical way of governing a society is ideologically a no go.

One could argue king David was worse than bill Clinton. Except the only repentance I've seen from bill is sorry I got caught.

A sociopath will most likely be acting like that. Alot of politicians are sociopaths. Maybe they couldn't be politicians if they weren't sociopaths. I know for sure if I was a politician I would be spending most of the time crying at my desk because of all the mudslinging politicians are doing.

I'm curious what Desdichado thinks about this post. I respect his views.

Socialism is government running your life through help programs. Personally I prefer to help myself and let the church members help me if I am in that dire need of assistance.

God loves all people but can not tolerate their sin without the forgiveness and grace of the blood of Jesus. God loves both candidates bit dislikes there actions. For there sake they better hope they get right with God if not already.

1. A hatred of someone telling you the truth about what we have become.

I voted yesterday. I didn't vote for either one of them.
Hillary is crooked and Trump is all rhetoric and propaganda. Trumpers are like kids who still believe in Santa Claus.. we're going to build a wall at the border.... what about all the obstacles in the way like mountains and people's property
11... we're going to deport 11 million illegals... not going to happen.... it would cost billions and in the process we would lose half of our Farm Workers.
We can bomb Syria trying to eliminate the threat that we created but we can't help those who were displaced
