It also looks like you were telling people what to do if you don't like what others
say while you blatantly ignored your own advice. Haha. I see that a lot here.
Not a all I was suggesting peace and fairness across the board. You are trying to argue of which I will take leave of.

I don't think it's uncommon anywhere. The mind is a tricky thing and we all fool ourselves to one degree or another. Auto pilot is easier than conscious thought and assessing our own thoughts motivations and shortcomings.
I agree, but it does not make it any more palatable to know it is so widespread. If we are not blind we should be able to see. However many seem to have the same mindset as atheists, along the lines of, do as I say and think for yourself and I will make sure to tell you what to think and how to behave.

But yet you're still arguing. You can't have peace without conflict. We wouldn't know what peace is without conflict. Lol. So how do we get there? Does someone have to be wrong so someone can be right? Sounds like false peace to me.

Ive said this a million times. Anger anxiety and depression are born out of unprocessed pain. The world is full of people walking around with unprocessed pain and it's someone else's fault. Most people are incapable of having ownership of their own pain and working it out within themselves. We let others determine our value and we don't even know it, but yet we're pissed about it. We give all our power away on a silver platter and then get angry at the people or person we freely give it too. If it wasn't so tragic it would be funny.

Slavery was abolished and America responded with Jim Crow laws
We had the civil rights movement and America responded with mass incarceration and discriminatory drug laws
We had a black family in the White House and America responded by electing the most bigoted president in history
Anyone see a pattern emerging?[/QUOT

To say that Trump was elected because of Obama's election as the first black president is a racist statement.
You are saying that everyone who voted for Trump are racist.
That is just a stupid, NO A RACIST statement.
You are more of a racist than anyone on this forum.
Obama was the most bigoted president in my life time.
I have come to realize that it is the left, exemplified by dude, that are the true racists. They see race in EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF LIFE. They believe people of color are inferior and therefore must have government aid, and affirmative action, to live and survive. They don't think they are racists, but that is exactly what they are.
Most Americans I know have long ago moved beyond race, and see people as Dr. Martin Luther King envisioned. We see people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.

I love everybody, and if EVERY member of Congress, the President, and the Supreme court were composed entirely of black women, I wouldn't care, and would rejoice, as long as they followed the Constitution.

I noticed this when I watched the election coverage. It was white women this, Latino men that, black men blah blah blah. frankly I was disgusted by it.

I find it interesting how Christians think Donald Trump is the best thing that slice bread despite the packet his wife has new pics all over the Internet and he said ridiculous things about women it even made fun of the handicapped. The cognitive dissonance is real... oh and did I mention that Jesus was a socialist?

I agree, but I part with you on one thing. Dude is not inherently a man of the Left. He's been very critical of Obama and social progressives in the past.

I don't mean this in an arrogant way...but sometimes I wish I could shut it off and just be ignorant and blind to it all.

Thank you though. It feels good to be respected. :)

I am of the opinion that we all wish to be valued and respected. Some of the pain you speak of comes from our sense of the depth and degree this is missing in our lives, but the problem as you identified it is people not taking responsibility for their own feelings. As far as the progression of society and civilization in general, we are all growing, though some individuals seem quite stunted while others are prevented by wholesale social constraints (such as is prevalent in Islam). We certainly live in interesting times :D Allowing people to have made mistakes in their past and allowing for personal growth and awareness is something that Trump detractors seem incapable of extending to others.

When children act out, the intention behind it is good. They have a problem that they need help in solving. When adults do it, their actions are more destructive and become dangerous to everyone else.

His ideas and mindset are enemies of freedom and liberty for all. Honestly, his mindset has more in common with criminal thinking than it does with Jesus.
Oh yeah I don't support a bigoted misogynistic narcissist. How criminal of me.The hypocrisy of Christian fundamentalists is comical. But congratulations on ruining our witness

Part of what makes them dangerous is the level of dishonesty. It really does come down to bringing all into the light, but the deeds of darkness thrive unhindered where they love to hide and dress up in their robes of self righteousness. Jesus most certainly opposed that mindset. Watching the losers moan and cry and threaten suicide and scream and yell, and beat up people who voted for their opponent, my goodness, they are the brats you have made them out to be, dangerous because they refuse to acknowledge their own culpability in the attitudes they claim to find reprehensible while they behave just as badly or worse, all the while claiming superiority.

Having said all that I do respect the speech (what I saw of it) of Hillary's upon losing. She was dignified and well spoken, no reproaches or bitterness, just rah rah let's move forward and support this man as our new president, yes this hurts, she said, and will for some time. The same would have been true had Trump lost, for those who supported him. Her supporters don't seem to be able to acknowledge that :(
