Oh, forgot to tell you, I didn't vote for Hillary. I voted for Trump.
Yea I was just kidding with the song parody ;D all in good natured fun! I'm eagerly awaiting Jan 20th 2017 and hopeful that America can restore it's image in the world and stand for good things and not ISIS/Islam/gay rights type stuff.....it has degraded the nation spiritually and even reputation wise around the world sadly....

Trump is donating his salary as president.
$400,000 is probably a nickel to Trump but sure is a lot of money for average people like me.....where is he going to donate it to?

I'm doing a lot of praying that things will be okay over the next four years. A lot of my friends that I've known for a long time, many of whom are nonbelievers, with some Christians, and are members of/allies to lgbtq, Muslims, immigrants, are scared for loss of their rights and what the next four years holds. Their emotions are pretty raw. I do my best to convey love and positivity, for what good it does over a social media platform.

What rights is he taking away? As far as I know Hillary was the only one taking away rights. Such as the second amendment.

They're going to learn what straight, White, conservative working males have felt like for the last 25 years. Yet be that as it may, there's no reason for fear. PE Trump honors the Constitution and values individual rights.

A lot of them are worrying about the loss of lgbt rights. At least six of the people that I know are gay or lesbian and worry about the loss of their marriages. Some of my friends have Muslim friends, and I suppose worry about losing them, or something bad happening. Some have already been verbally attacked by some Trump voters, and they've also had to block people on Facebook for hate speech/ being verbally abusive. I've noticed a couple likening things to what happened with the Jews under Hitler's reign back in the 1930's. I don't agree with the things my friends support, but I don't want anyone getting attacked physically or verbally for any reason either.

Right now it seems to be largely democrats attacking people, starting riots, fires, being treasonous and committing sedition with impunity and not a word of rebuke from the powers that be. What are your friends really worried about? Trump supports their right to live peaceably. Have you seen any of the vids after the attack on the gay nightclub in Florida? He spoke very eloquently and convincingly on such issues. I will see if I can find one for you:

1st off, homosexual marriage isn't going away any time soon. If he could somehow repeal it I'd be very happy. As for the rest of your post, the reality is you have people saying "Trump will tear America down!" WHILE THEY ARE TEARING AMERICA DOWN!.
The people you list are saying "We fear for our safety!" WHILE THEY ARE ASSAULTING AND BULLYING THE PEOPLE THEY CLAIM TO BE AFRAID OF!

THESE are the tactics of the Nazi fascists you should TRULY be afraid of.

I think you need to reassure your friends that Trump is not out to "violate" or "remove" anyone's rights.

And, if by "immigrants" you mean "illegal immigrants", sending them back home to where they came from would not be violating their "rights". They have no "rights" as citizens, because they are NOT citizens. They are breaking our nation's laws. That, by definition, makes them criminals.

straightening out our illegal immigrant situation is going to be difficult, but it must be done. Whether it is some type of "path" to citizenship, or something else.. something must be done. Of course, that could be a whole other thread topic...

Law abiding citizens, regardless of the physical, sexual, religious or emotional ingredients they're made of, have nothing to fear. People my age heard the same nonsense when Reagan was President. Tell your friends to be at peace and quit drinking liberal Kool-Aid.

The only difference between Jews under hitler and Christians under Obama is that Christians are armed otherwise the onslaught would have already begun. Your friends have no problem with Christian persecution but now the false concept of their being persecuted alarms you and them. Your friends are hypocritical punks.

Well said, brother. I despise godlessness, fascism and hypocrisy, and yet those are the quintessential qualities of most liberals. Especially these college aged idiots. (not calling coffee claw an idiot). I respect her for sincerely sharing her heart.
