Who is the Father of Jesus Christ?
Why God the Father of course--->>>> John 20:17
"Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."

And from that you have decided that Jesus Christ is not God, correct?

The problem is that you don't believe them?
I believe every word of God, the problem is you cannot hear what the Spirit is saying in the scriptures. It is not given to all to know the many mysteries of the Kingdom. Here is why many do not understand the mystery that the Son of God=Christ, is the very Living Word of God--->>>>

Luke 10:22

All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

Right Jesus is the living Word of God, not the Bible.

Here is what we are told to watch out for, and that is those who reject that Jesus is the CHRIST=The anointed Living Word of God made flesh=The Son of God.

1 John 2:22

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

I already told you what I believe---->>>>>
1 Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
A simple yes or no will do. Do you believe Jesus Christ is God?

Do you believe Jesus Christ is God?
I have already answered your question, and have also shown by scripture why Jesus Christ is shown as the Son of God. Also, I have dealt with Catholics before and know how they try to entrap by putting things in their own words because they do not truly know the Son of God, which is why they are so confused about the relationship between God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

Here are a few more proof texts that show God is the Father of His Son Jesus Christ---->>>>

Here are some more scriptures that the Catholics dislike because they show God the Father sent His Word into the world by way of His Son Jesus Christ.

The Word comes from, and returns to the Father

Isaiah 55:11
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

God the Father sent His Word into the world, and His Word was made flesh….

John 5:23
“That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

John 5:30 “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 5:36
“But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.”John 5:37 “And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.”

John 6:39 “And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.”

John 6:44
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

John 6:57 “As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

John 8:16 “And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

John 8:18 “I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.”

John 8:29 “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”

John 8:42
“Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

John 10:36 “Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?”

John 12:49 “For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.”

John 14:24 “He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

John 17:21 “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”

John 17:25 “O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.”

And then Son returns to the Father which sent Him…

John 13:3
“Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;”

John 16:10 “Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

John 16:16 “A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

John 16:17 “Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

John 16:28
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

John 20:17 “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”

Daniel 7:13 “I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.”

They know not from where He comes from, nor where He goes

John 8:14
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go;but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.

John 8:21 “Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

John 8:22
“Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.

There is no doubt in any shape or form that Jesus is God manifested in the flesh as the Son of God and as the Son of Man.

Jesus said "MY Father and I are one". There are loads of scriptures that show Jesus is God.

Jesus's function is different - just as the Holy Spirit's function is different - just as the Father's function is different. The Holy Spirit didn't Himself - ( separate from the Trinity ) die on the cross for us - that was the Son of God manifested in the flesh's role.

A difference in "function" does not negate the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and His Oneness with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

There are three In heaven that bear record, the FATHER,the WORD and the HOLY GHOST and these three are one.

On earth,a body was prepared for JESUS and GOD said, today you have become my son.
Jesus was eternally 'the Son'. But when God said, 'you have become my son' He was indicating a new status as chosen by God, not necessarily a new sonship.

But;

the Father sent HIS SON to be the savior of the world (1 John 4.14)

God sent forth His Son (Gal 4.4)

God sent His only Son into the world (1 John 4.9)

He loved us and sent His Son to be a propitiation for our sins (! John 4.10)

God was in Christ - reconciling the world to Himself.

2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (NASB)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,

[SUP]19 [/SUP] namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Some people seem to think our ministry is to condemn people. God through His Son on the earth and His blood speak of better things.

Right Jesus is the living Word of God, not the Bible.
Again the Word of God speaks the words of God, just as the prophets of old and the apostles all spoke by the Spirit of Christ, just as the the testimony of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of prophecy.

So believing in every word of God is important---->>>>

Matthew 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Luke 4:4
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 6:53
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Some people seem to think our ministry is to condemn people.
Those who do not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God are condemned already--->>>>

John 3:16-18

[SUP]16 [/SUP]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

[SUP]17 [/SUP]For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

[SUP]18 [/SUP]He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Again what is His name--->>>>

Revelation 19:13

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

This scripture below is the word of God. Does this mean that all of us are blotted out of the book because all of us have sinned?

All scripture must be interpreted through the lens of the finished work of Christ. Through the lens of what happened to Christ from the cross to the throne and what also happened to us believers because we are joined as one spirit with the Lord now.

Without doing this - we end up mixing up the Covenants and we have a complete mess of religious ideas of which the works-based salvation mindset is a by-product of.

Exodus 32:33 (NASB)
[SUP]33 [/SUP] The LORD said to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.
