1 John 3 :5-10 "But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. NO ONE WHO CONTINUES TO SIN has either seen him or KNOWN HIM.
7Dear children, DO NOT LET ANYONE LEAD YOU ASTRAY. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8The one who DOES WHAT IS SINFUL IS OF THE DEVIL, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason THE SON OF GOD APPEARED was to destroy the devils work. NO ONE WHO IS BORN OF GOD will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10THIS IS HOW WE KNOW who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: ANYONE WHO DOES NOT DO WHAT IS RIGHT IS NOT GODS CHILD, nor is anyone who does not LOVE their brother and sister."

1 john 3:16-24 "THIS IS HOW WE KNOW WHAT LOVE IS: Jesus CHRIST laid down his life FOR US. And we ought to lay down OUR LIVES FOR OUR BROTHERS . 17If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister IN NEED but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18Dear children, LET US NOT LOVE WITH WORDS OR SPEECH but WITH ACTIONS AND IN TRUTH.

19TJIS IS HOW WE KNOW that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: 20If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 21Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22and receive from him anything we ask, BECAUSE WE KEEP HIS COMMANDS AND DO WHAT PLEASES HIM . 23And this is his command: to believe in the name of HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, and to love one another as HE COMMANDED US. 24THE ONE WHO KEEPS God’s commands LIVES IN HIM, and HE IN THEM. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us."

1 John 4:4-12 "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is IN YOU IS GREATER than the one who is in the WORLD. 5They are FROM THE WORLD and therefore speak from the VIEWPOIINT OF THE WORLD, and THE WORLD LISTENS TO THEM. 6WE ARE FROM GOD, and WHOEVER KNOWS GOD LISTENS TO US; but whoever is NOT from God does not listen to us. THIS IS HOW we recognize the Spirita of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
7Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent HIS ONE AND ONLY SON into the world that we might LIVE THROUGH HIM. 10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and SENT HIS SON as AN ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS. 11Dear friends, since God so loved us, WE ALSO ought to love one another. 12NO ONE HAS EVER SEN GOD; but if we love one another, GOD LIVES IN US and his love is made complete in us."

john 4:13-15 "THIS IS HPW WE KNOW that we live IN HIM and HE IN US: He has given us of his Spirit. 14And WE HAVE SEEN AND TESTIFY that THE FATHER HAS SENT HIS SON to be the Savior of the world. 15If anyone acknowledges that JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD, GOD LIVES IN THEM and THEY IN GOD."

1 john 5:1-5 " Everyone who believes that JESUS IS THE CHRIST is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2THIS IS HOW WE KNOW THAT WE LOVE the children of God: by loving God and CARRYING OUT HIS COMMANDS. 3IN FACT THIS IS LOVE FOR GOD,: TO KEEP HIS COMMANDS. And his commands are not burdensome, 4for everyone born of God ( 5:1) overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5WHO IS IT that overcomes the world? ONLY THE ONE WHO BELIEVES THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD."

2 peter 2:1 "Now there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be FALSE TEACHERS AMONG YOU. They will SECRETLY INTRODUCE DESTRUCTIVE HERESIES that EVEN DENY the soveriegn Lord WHO BOUGHT THEM, BRINGING SWIFT DESTRUCTION on themselves."

only for those who believe scripture
Let us know when you become one who believes Scripture :)

John 1 (KJV)

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God.

2
The same was in the beginning with God.

3
All things were made by him; and without
him was not any thing made that was made.

4
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5
And the light shineth in darkness; and
the darkness comprehended it not.

6
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7
The same came for a witness, to bear witness of
the Light, that all men through him might believe.

8
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9
That was the true Light, which lighteth
every man that cometh into the world.

10
He was in the world, and the world was
made by him, and the world knew him not.

11
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will
of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

lol this does not end does it??

One of the biggest lies is thinking that you are perfect by way of infusion rather than imputation. Sinless perfectionism is a disaster and a terrible doctrine to believe in. To think that you can achieve a level of total perfection in this life is nonsense and unfounded.

Amen! Those who believe they live a sinless, without fault or defect, flawless perfect life 100% of the time, exactly as Jesus lived, are suffering from a terminal case of self righteousness (1 John 1:8-10).

I agree -- nothing about "sinless perfection" here - not even close! At least not in the actual post! Maybe it can be read in by the OP or by readers - but the Bible doesn't teach it - not that I see anyway!

Yes it does prove the sinless one brings us to perfection./completion.He finished all the work according to His work of faith. He is our confidence we are to put no confidence in the flesh .

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Would one think if Christ began to build his church he could not finish?

Luk 14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

I would just mention (1 John 5:6) in the last four words:

"the Spirit is Truth"

The above rightly divides the Word of Truth with (John 17:17):

"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."

2 Peter 2-20 22
20If indeed they have escaped the corruption of the world through their knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, only to be entangled and overcome by it again, their final condition is worse than it was at first. 21It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than to have known it and turned away from the holy commandment passed on to them. 22Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.”

Ever heard of context? Or do you just prefer to make verses say what you want?

Who is the they in the passage? Is it those who claim to be without sin? Is it they who have made themselves clean only to return to the old filthiness?

Those whom Christ has cleansed need not to be washed again. Only their feet need washed.

For the cause of Christ

A bunch of Scriptures............a bunch of things said........but your statement makes no sense whatsoever..........well, to me anyhoo........

If I post 15 Scriptures from 3 or 4 different Epistles, and then say "if folks don't believe this, then they is spreading destructive Lies," would you think you might be one of 'em? :)

Just wondering

Those who are truly born of God have received a new nature, a divine nature, and they have new and different appetites and desires. They have been transformed from pigs and dogs into sheep. The change is more than just cosmetic, as in 2 Peter 2:20. *These cleaned up on the outside dogs and pigs were never sheep.

Compare 2 Peter 1:4 - "partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption - Strongs #5356 that is in the world through lust with 2 Peter 2:20 - with they escaped the pollutions - Strongs #3356 (different Greek word) of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, yet they are again entangled therein, and overcome. Notice that 2 Peter 2:20 did not mention them being "partakers of the divine nature.

Corruption (Strongs #5356) (to shrivel or wither, spoil , ruin , deprave, corrupt , defile, to destroy by means of corrupting, to spoil as does milk). Corruption - describes decomposition or rotting of an organism and the accompanying stench. The utter depravity of the fallen flesh and the resultant moral decomposition of the world opposed to God is driven by it sinful lusts or evil desires. Internal corruption.

Pollutions/Defilements (Strongs #3393) ("pollutions", "filthy things", "contaminations", "world's filth") describes the state of being tainted or stained by evil and refers to impurity, impure, tainted, defilement, foulness or pollution. Pollutions/Defilement refers to what is on the outside (2 Peter 2:20). But genuine believers have escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).

Corruption is deeper than pollutions/defilements on the outside: it is decay on the inside.

Having the knowledge of Jesus Christ does not save a person if there is no heart submission to that knowledge. The latter end is worse than the beginning for these men because rejecting this knowledge will make them more accountable at the judgment.

lol where did you see me say that or anything like it? its always confusing to me when anyone uses scripture to say something, there are so many arguers and people saying what the person is saying....just because apparantly you missed what " I said"...

"only for those who believe scripture over peoples opinions and ideas that arent taught in scripture , study on your own PRAYERFULLY in the name of Jesus, and Let Gods Word renew your mind and guard against the many, many destructive Lies among us....."

the rest of this op, is scripture. Heres some more

to this idea i hear often " no one really ever quits sinning"

2 peter 2But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.4For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell,[SUP]a[/SUP] putting them in chains of darkness[SUP]b[/SUP] to be held for judgment; 5if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8(for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh[SUP]c[/SUP] and despise authority.Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings; 11yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them from[SUP]d[/SUP] the Lord. 12But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish.13They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.[SUP]e[/SUP] 14With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed—an accursed brood! 15They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer,[SUP]f[/SUP] who loved the wages of wickedness. 16But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey—an animal without speech—who spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness."

Doctrines and teachers teaching " no one really stops sinning....is deception meant to give people freedom to continue in sin. There is no teaching in the Bible that says " if you go on sinning, you will be saved" i said that part <<<< but the rest is 2nd peter chapter 2 which i left a small sample in the op. but truly i understand this to be true

luke 6:22-26 "Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man.

23“Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.24“But woe to you who are rich,
for you have already received your comfort.
25Woe to you who are well fed now,
for you will go hungry.
Woe to you who laugh now,
for you will mourn and weep.
26Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you,
for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets."

repentance is required 100 percent, and anyone who has faith In Jesus, is well able to be free of sins control.
