The Church was not replaced with Israel they are one in the same. The new name God named His people is "Christian."

It appears that the Jews are missing the reformation, nothing has changed .They are still waiting for Christ to come but have no vail because of the reformation .

Those are identified as antichrists (plural) in 1 John 2. The outward Jew as natural unconverted man was not part of the us, inward Jew born of the Spirit, It is why they went out from us. They deny the Father and the Son "a mark of the antichrists"(plural) 666 (natural unconverted man) .

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. Ok, in plain English.

Jesus asked the Pharisees what lineage they thought the Messiah came from. They replied that he would be a son of David, i.e. a descendent of David through patrilineage. Is that important? Yes, because TO THIS VERY DAY the Jews look for a Messiah who is a male descended through the male line from King David. Jesus it was well known had a Jewish mother, (who the Talmud depicts as a slag who slept with hundreds of men), but his paternity was not understood. He then explains that the Messiah according to King David and the psalms was not of Davidic patrilineage, but of Divine patrilineage. So, in conclusion, Jesus was NOT a son of David.

If you continue to assert that Jesus was a Jew, then you are denying his Godhead.

So in all the posts I showed.. They were wrong.

ps, If jesus is not jew (a son of david, or son of Abraham) then Gods promise to Abraham never came true through Christ. (in your (your seed) shall all the nations be blessed.

Jesus was a descendent of David....

huios means son or descendent

seed means sperm, so of the seed of David means genetically traceable back to David.

But these are not enough to make you a Jew. Big difference.

Jesus told us who was going to kill Him. The chief priests,Pharisees wanted to kill Him.He escaped until His time for death came. Many times they wanted to arrest Him but didn't for fear of "the people".Who were they? Jews! They were believing in Jesus and that was a treat to the establishment,to the religious rulers and that is why they sought to kill Him. The Romans nailed Him to the cross,our sins put Him there.THAT is who killed Jesus. Not "Jews" as a race.
