Are they being banned? No.
Are they now receiving a much more efficient and effective job of being vetted? Yes.

If you had a babysitter someone told you was background checked...... and I looked a little deeper, and showed you they actually had a conviction for child molesting.... Would your answer be that they should still babysit your kids because they got by on that first check? The first check was not as thorough as mine, and their conviction was not discovered at that time. But, that is good enough for the safety of your children?

I think not.
I understand but I think some of It Is just divisive, exaggerated and fear based.why?Something Is real wrong hopefully things will stabilize as President Trump gains more understanding and starts thinking of ALL the people and stop trying to prove something to a few selfish people.

Five minutes in Iran telling them you are a Christian would put it into context for you. Four minutes if you said you were Jewish.

well a few of us selfish people wanted the brakes put on abortion and a conservative constitutionally minded SCOTUS nominee. Sorry we're so selfish. I'll be sure and tell Trump he needs to do a better job of making sure enough babies get killed and our constitution and rule of law continue to get flushed down your socialist minded toilet.

That's reasonable.

But how would you have begun this new vetting process? (Keeping in mind that this man is totally in opposition to all the pre-warning and telegraphing of our intentions to possible enemies that Obama has gotten them used to.)

Would you have given everyone intent upon getting to our country, a two-week warning period? If so, please think about the ramification of doing that. I know if I had a bomb in my backpack, I would be on the very first plane headed for my target.

Would you have warned the "very trustworthy" people running those airports and airlines?

Really, just what would your actions have been?

I get the distinct feeling very few of our posters have ever seen anyone killed.... butchered just because the man with the gun felt like it.

That was BHO's failed policy in a nutshell.

In all fairness some will respond but are you willing to sacrifice your wife and daughters to the savagery that many thousands of years apart from the civilized world has put in them. The culture of Islam is tribal and violent.

:)So I take It by your response that the recent executive order was unfair to those that were already vetted.
Trump has declared war on radical Islam. In so doing a few people were inconvenienced. I've been detained at foreign airports before over a mistaken identity. That's life when you travel abroad.

Just heard El Chapo is worth $14B. If we seize it, Mexico can have said to have paid for the wall. Everyone wins, except the drug lord which was a big reason we need the wall.

You don't understand. The muslims don't care about respect. Jihad is you become muslim or die. Jihad to them is like Christians handing out food in Africa.
muslims will make all others muslim or die.
muslims are the Borg.

I would like to state that I am not against allowing Muslims into our country. But I strongly support more regulation of who comes into our nation, and monitoring those who do. As in, do they frequently travel back and forth between our nation and a nation that is known to harbor Islamic terrorist organizations? Are they in frequent contact with people over there, and is that something worth looking into?

And its not because "theyre brown and you cant trust brown people", it is entirely because of the beliefs of the people of these nations. Yes, Islam promotes violence, war and subjugation of those who arent Islamic. Even with Christians and Jews, they are allowed to leave them alive as long as they force them to pay a life tax.

I dont want to have to post verse after verse of the violent commands in Islam : p But yeah, of course, not every Muslim wants this. Many want to come here and live a peaceful and lawful life. And thats awesome. But that doesnt make the ones that want to come to commit Jihad for their god go away. They are there too.

It might seem mean to protect our nation in such a way, but it is better than watching those who want to wage war in the name of their god blow up a bunch of people merely because they live in a nation where the majority do not accept the god of Muhammad.

In what post did you "prove" anything? I went back and looked, and found nothing.
Kind of the problem in the first place. First you didn't read the article posted. And now you didn't see the link after that. Not really that big a problem. You see what you want to see.

Telling the truth on my own self,I don't think man can look at the heart.A person Intending to blow himself up In order to kill someone that Is Innocent will do It.But we have to ask ourself, are we going to treat some muslims bad In order to feel safe and change who we ARE because of fear,or are we really the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Lets be honest at least.:)

Did you spend 13 years of your life going through the vetting process, final got approved, hopped the plane, got to your new land, and then were told you weren't welcomed, so you were sent home?

More like what really happened.

How is denying a foreign national entry into the United States, treating them bad?

Thats a reasonable post.I wish we could know If the ones going back and forth had good Intentions, but alas we can't see the heart but I agree with you.

All we can do Is look at their actions,I know the president wants to do something, but how can man make a judgement call on the heart which would tell us whats up before It happens.

I give him a B, I admire the fact he is a man of his word - he is doing what he said he would do and the promises he was elected on - that is rare in a politician. However he does need to tone it down - he is too loud and brash and risks upsetting his allies around the world. He needs to surround himself some good solid advisers and to listen to them. He scares me a little.

Its just that we say that we are the land of the free and the home of the brave,If thats not true then Its ok but If Its true, lets be about the truth and not just saying It and not proving It.

Thats all I meant.
