My son is mentally ill. He is not one of the twelve. If God loved us, he would not put us in the situation where we will be slaughtered like sheep, burned alive, drowned in cages, skinned alive, buried alive, and crucified. What kind of father lets this happen to his children?

I have reached my breaking point with all this "walk by faith" stuff. God is not there when you need him, and there is no reward for doing what you think he wants of you.

You just scroll by and find a good place to attack and then call it "action."

I call it "hardness."

Try it the other way. Go back through your posts and find out the last time you were actually kind to someone. (And kind to someone isn't what you call "laughing with my friends.")

This site is mostly for people who like to congregate to spew hate together and then call anyone different a troll.

Drog was hurting like hell. He even told why. And what did he get? Hate! Not all of it was hate, but the haters certainly came to spew. And then got pat on the back for kicking him out.

Well, i don't think anyone will be able to verify if he is really looking for help or not but good news is that we know we have people here who have prayed for this guy and we hope that others will do also. Besides, looks like God is already toughening this guy up for something good.

From what I read of the OP's posts, all he did was spew his own venom and hate towards God. His attitude about his situation sucks and he wants to blame GOD for doing nothing to help him or his son? God doesn't help those who don't make an attempt to help themselves. It was up to the father to get help for his son, especially if he's a mentally disturbed person. God doesnt do everything for us, WE gotta help do stuff for ourselves. It has been my experience that when you (general you) spew derision and venom at others, they usually barf it right back on you.. :/

The ones who are hurting, but stay despite seeing what this place is like, are pretty foolish to subject themselves to the kind of abuse perpetrated here on a daily basis. :(

Of course God does! That's how he saves us.

Really? You don't remember me when I fell apart more than once last year?

Sometimes we have temper tantrums. When everything seems to go absolutely wrong, it's so hard to believe God will do this to us. Give someone time to get beyond that point. Pray. I got that often last year.

Why not the new guy?

OK, I am seeing that if you don't believe in God, you have pain and troubles. If you do believe in God, then you have pain and troubles. There is no difference. So why does Jesus say to pray? Why should I ask, seek, knock, when there will be no help?

I am not expecting a life without pain, but for crying out loud--when does it ever stop? I have been suffering all of my cursed life, and now I have to face daily a choice, whether to let my violent, mentally ill son into my house out of the cold, or let him be homeless and freeze?

I don't see the advantage to believing any more. I have been a Christian almost all my life, and now it seems like an utter waste to believe or pray. God does not help his children, so what's the point?
