Angels are far from just ministering spirits. Lucifer was not a ministering spirit nor Gabriel.

The Bible confirms different types of angels.

There is nothing simple in the book of Genesis and certainly not the 6th chapter.

I do not believe anything whatsoever that God decides to do is jeopardized.

Satan as a lying ministering spirit as the god or spirit of this world .He who remains with out form (dna) entices people to be unevenly yoked, trying to destroy the spiritual seed ,Christ.

God is in the business of protecting the spiritual seed, Christ. Its what the the sixth chapter is referring to .not to be unevenly yoked with unbelievers. It why he destroyed the present creation with a flood and started over with Noah and His family.

Are you aware of the ability of humans to altar DNA, to change the very fabric of what we are made of?

Human dna belongs to humans, no mixing of kinds.

Who really knows what angels can and cannot do.

I would think he has not left us in the dark to speculate.God reveals what they, who are neither male nor female can and cannot do.

Why a person would desire to make them into angels is quite puzzling . What would be the purpose .Only have sexual relationships with short people?

Folks I realize that this is not a critical issue, however I hear so much about the giants in the bible being the offspring of angels and humans...THE BIBLE DOES NOT SAY THAT. There were two declarations made, one was that there were giants in the earth in those days...STOP... the other was that when the sons of God(angels) took the daughters of men that they bore men of great ability. Two things that it is describing, one is giants, who were before and after the flood, the other is a hybrid between an angel and a human that only appeared before the flood. Think please, for a five foot six inch ,130 pound woman, to produce a ten foot eight hundred pound man, that would mean that her husband had to be fifteen feet tall and weigh fourteen hundred pounds. It would be like trying to cross a male mastiff with a female wiener dog. First the sex act is not gonna happen and even if it did the wiener dog would die way before birth time...same with a human woman trying to have a sixty pound baby...not going to happen. The offspring of women and angels were normal in height and weight but built with incredible strength and speed and toughness. The giants are kind of a mystery since they were before and after the flood and I have never been able to trace their ancestors with any success.

This is not a plug for sons of God being human, just an explanation of how there could be giants after. As I stated before that the men were living for an average of a hundred years before having children. That could very well mean that even the sons of Adam were larger than expected. After the flood, Yhovah shortened the life expectancy to 120 years. This doesn't mean that it was all of a sudden. It could have taken multiple generations before the bloodlines lowered to this level, meaning giants could have existed even without divine fornication.

BTW, people have been documented to live past 120 years since that day, even in relatively modern times.
That verse does not mean the limit of our life span.

So there does not have to be a problem with childbirth.

And he was about close to a foot shorter then Goliath. And Goliath was probably about 1 and a half to 2 feet shorter then King Og.
And both of them would have been considered "short" giants back in the hey day of those horrific creatures.

yes i have used the same argument in the past, when Jesus says "as in the days of Noah" and many say those meant sinful times. history shows mankind has been full of death and destruction for a long time, roman leaders with child sex slaves that thought nothing of killing brothers, sisters or parents to get the throne, french revolution where the good guys became bad guys and were killing 100 people a day, nazis and all the rest. the days of Noah IMO is referring to something unique to those times, Gen 6 is the key.

I have a very serious question for you. Do you believe that ignoring something plainly stated will make it go away?

There are different kinds of angels. They have different appearances and are assigned different roles.

Yes, there are ministering spirits or angels but that is not all there are.

There are Seraphim, Cherubim, Archangels, Fallen Angels and some believe that the rulers and powers spoken of by Paul are classes of angels or descriptions of their activities.

Satan is not a lying ministering spirit. He is a liar though. He does not minister. I think you need to look up the meaning of the word minister. The part that is a verb; not a noun.

I have no idea why you might want to gloss over what is actually in the Bible.

I did read your other post and again, thank you for taking the time for your answer. I can understand that you have a different viewpoint but I cannot understand why you might insist there is only one type of angel when it is glaringly apparent that is not so.

Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years."-Genesis 6:3

Considering that before this some men were not even having their first born until they were 180 years old I think validates that my point. It's not like they were busy playing video games in their parents' basements. They lived hundreds of years. If you scale that to today, they wouldn't be fully grown until about 120 years. That's quite a few growth spurts my friend.
