I don't know much about politics, but I do know EQ. If things become personal, we just went from playing chess to checkers and there is no winning.

:)IMO,successful would be creating Jobs that say made In America and I know It cost more but to me that would be a good thing,I don't agree with pro choice and gay rights but I would like to see unity rather than division.

I like many of Presidents proposals,but he seems to think pleasing his selfish supporters Is more Important than helping most of the legitimately sincere good people that voted for him and leading us like a big brother.

These problems took decades to manifest. It may take more than one term to begin to reverse.

I'm not at all sure what you mean by "selfish supporters". Aren't those who voted for him supporters? How are we selfish? Sounds like a broad brush. He's a president, not a faith healer Jim. :rolleyes:

Your answer strikes me as being deplorable in a number of ways. Firstly, I was asking how YOU make a distinction, which you had not yet done, so your pretense that anyone somehow had some problem understanding something that was not defined is ridiculous, and shows you to be unfair. You claim to want unity rather than divisiveness but then make such divisive, depolrable, and unfair comments as these that you cannot really be believed.

So I looked up the adjective and must say it has blatant meaning when applied to say a believer in Jesus Christ who happened to vote Trump:


adjective: deplorable
deserving strong condemnation.

Just trying to understand how you separate the sincere from the selfish. Magenta and I had pretty much the same question in our response at the same time. I had to like her response or risk deploring myself...

I liked your answer regarding what would constitute POTUS "success". But, if the success depends on him having to divide the intent of his supporters, then you have to admit that success is impossible.
