Amen, Scripture explicitly states Jesus as the Word is God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.

9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed.

Matthew 21:42

Mark 12:10

"Have you not even read this Scripture: 'THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone;

Luke 20:17
But Jesus looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: 'THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone'?

Acts 4:11
"He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone.

1 Peter 2:6-7
For this is contained in Scripture: "BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION A CHOICE STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNER stone, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED." This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve, "THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE VERY CORNER stone,"

Matthew 21:44
"And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust."

Luke 20:18
"Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust."

Romans 9:32-33
Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as though it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone, just as it is written, "BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."

1 Peter 2:4-8
And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For this is contained in Scripture: "BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION A CHOICE STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNER stone, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."

I am not angry at all and, going through what and how I have posted, I wonder why you say I am angry. Jesus did not claim to be God, and this is akin to a slander against the Jewish Faith. The Hellenistic writer of the gospel have put up that claim as if it parted from Jesus. Perhaps the one who wrote Mat. 1:18 who described Jesus as a Greek demigod which is the son of a god with
an earthly woman. Still not necessarily corrupt but simply applied to the wrong people. The NT is for Christians and the Tanach is for the Jews.
ahem...

Is 63:7-10a : I will mention the loving kindness of the Lord and the praises of the Lord, according to all the Lord has bestowed upon us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which he has bestowed upon them according to his mercies. For he said..Surely they are my people, children who will not lie, so he became their SAVIOR. in all their affliction he was afflicted. and the angel of his presence saved them. in his love and his pity he redeemed them. and he bore them and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit.

Isa 48:
“Listen to Me, O Jacob, And Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First,
I am also the Last.

[SUP]13 [/SUP]Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together. [SUP]14 [/SUP]“All of you, assemble yourselves, and hear! Who among them has declared these things? The Lord loves him; He shall do His pleasure on Babylon, And His arm shall be against the Chaldeans.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]I, even I, have spoken; Yes, I have called him, I have brought him, and his way will prosper.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]“Come near to Me, hear this:I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God (Father) and His Spirit (Holy Spirit) Have sent Me.”[SUP]17 [/SUP]Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel (Pre-incarnat Jesus): “I am the Lord your God,

Seems you have some studying to do their bud

FNC, the assumption that Christianity is monotheistic is a wish-thinking. All Christian forms are of a Hellenistic character. The NT
interpretation of Jesus is according to the Hellenistic concept of the Demigod which is the son of a god with an earthly woman if
you read Mat. 1:18. The doctrine of the demigod affects the absolute Oneness of HaShem. I wonder about the sanity of Jews who convert to Christianity through the modalities of Christian faiths like "Jews-for-Jesus and Messianic Judaism." They can't see that these modalities are only baits to fish Jews at the time of their unawareness for lack of understanding.
Jesus' Resurrection was witnessed by hundreds of people yet you adamantly refute it. Since you're so sure of yourself how about giving us tonight's winning lottery numbers.

Ha ha! Don't let it bother you, Demi. I've have been accused of being an apostate for grappling with the same issues. The thing is, the same people who condemn you probably don't comprehend God any more than you or I, or others who worship God. It seems fairly straightforward that God is beyond our comprehension. But some people--even posters on CC--get all bent out of shape if you question their particular definition of God or certain tenets of Christian doctrine. People condemn a person's Christian beliefs if that person asks questions about whether Jesus and God are one and the same, or whether the Trinity is valid. But I personally wonder whether it's more of a sin to label God with some man-made definition that nobody can understand as a purported demonstration of faith. Wouldn't it be better to admit that God is beyond our limited human understanding?

As for me, it's hard for me to understand how Jesus is 100% of God in His entirety when He (Jesus) speaks of God in the third person. But then Jesus says things like "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father." (John 14:9). And statements like that cut toward Jesus being God. So I'll just have to admit that I don't know for sure. However, I do know that Jesus is divine. Jesus is in the Father, and the Father is in Jesus. And I also know that those who have seen Jesus have seen the Father. (John 14:9-11). So there's that. lol :)

I know what Jesus believed as a Jew and, I am trying to rescue his reputation from the misguided attacks of Christianity. Regarding Isaiah 53, that's the chapter in the Tanach I read more even than the Torah itself. Do you have any question about Isaiah 53? I am all ears! If you read that chapter in my Bible, you will get surprised about the concordance notes throughout the
verses.
Funny how God was so active with Israel and prophets were readily available, then Jesus comes along and suddenly for the next 2,000 years there is no more interaction between God and Israel and prophets are nowhere to be found. Doesn't that tell you anything? PS, it has nothing to do with the temple being destroyed in 70 A.D.

How about the Holy Spirit, is He the third? Jesus was not crucified for claiming to be God but because he was being acclaimed as the king of the Jews in a Roman province which was Jerusalem at the time. (Luke 19:37-40) Hence, Jesus was crucified on a political charge of insurrection. Hence, his verdict commanded by Pilate to be nailed on the top of Jesus' cross. INRI. Pilate did that so that every one could see why Jesus was crucified. But, obviously, it did not help. The anti-semites were not interested in the real reason Jesus was crucified but in the slander that the Jews crucified Jesus.
Anti-Semitic -- bad. Anti-Christian -- permissible. Your spirit reeks of this hypocrisy.

The absolute oneness of God is actually an Islamic expression

and I quote:

Oneness, whether relative or absolute, is an attribute that defines the uniqueness of the entity that possesses it. While relative oneness can be possessed by anything unique in any respect, absolute oneness is a feature of Divinity alone. Oneness can be, at times, as profound a concept as the enigmatic concepts of Infinity and Zero. The prime number ‘One’ can actually be intriguing enough to put the most competent of human minds to the most formidable of challenges.
The Qur’an introduces us to two special attributive names of God that relate specifically to God’s absolute oneness. These names are Ahad and Waahid. While in general terms, Ahad and Waahid both, could loosely be translated as ‘One’, but more specifically Ahad can be translated as ‘One’ and Waahid as ‘Only’.
anything you want to tell us?
