What about a woman preaching the gospel while wearing pants and then plays a musical instrument? - "extra hell" for this obvious rebellion against the word of God as "we interpret it"......
There's a special place in hell for those that chose to violate these rules in the humble service and worship of the Lord.

For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life*****
I suggest you check and discover that the verb "believeth" is in the continuous tense in the Greek.
In other words, this is not talking about a one-time thing!
This is talking about a continuing belief-faith that lasts until your death.
Or it's just of no use to you!

Actually, It is a present tense verb,, And eternal life is a present tense reality to those who have believed.

If it means continuing until your death, Then saying you have present tense eternal life. Is of no use to ANYONE. (God flat out lied)

I think words fall short to explain the mysteries in Christ. To find one verse in the New Testament and continuously point to that to refute every other verse that expands the understanding is just intellectually dishonest. Where is the love, picking up your cross and forgiving those like Christ forgives you? What about those who lack repentance? It is impossible to have everlasting life without faith in Christ but that is not all required.
Those who have genuinely placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation have already repented in the process of changing their minds and choosing to believe in Him. Love, picking up our cross and forgiving is the mark of a genuine Christian.

The deal-breaker:
John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.

The fix:
John 3: 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

Grace does so much we don't have to do anything, ever again.

Works based salvation right there ^^^^

What did you do today, Stephie, to earn your salvation?

19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.20For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.
Descriptive of lost unbelievers.

The fix:
John 3:21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
Descriptive of saved believers.

Saving belief in Christ continues and is not some shallow temporary belief that has no root, produces no fruit and withers away.

HENCE:

1 John 2:19 (NKJV)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

IS ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

It is MUCH MORE than acknowledging who HE is, which even the Demons acknowledge.

It is establishing a permanent inner, personal LOVE relationship with Jesus Christ as LORD (meaning MASTER), as you submit to HIS Lordship as an act of LOVE.

Yep, turning from sin, taking up our crosses and following Christ are the fruits of repentance, not repentance itself.

I am sure he will figure out something....me....I will stick with eternal security based upon the unfaltering faith of JESUS....it is his faith that saves us.....

In the grace you are, having been saved out of faith and that NOT OF YOURSELVES, it is the gift of GOD, not of works lest any man should boast....

THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES is directed at the word FAITH...........

What did you do today, Stephie, to earn your salvation?
9 or 10 good works
27 hail Mary's
Lord's supper 3 times before each meal
6 public prayers thanking God how righteous I am
6 public prayer thanking God I am not like those dang sinners
3 pot luck church dinners
Mowed Mary's lawn twice
Witnessed 7 times

I hope that is enough.......like the same kind of hope if I bought a lottery ticket.....I hope I win the prize.....

The deal-breaker:
John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.20For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.

John 3:21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
Verses 17 and 18 Jesus did not come to condemn the world or this that don't believe they are condemned already.
