Since we have died to the Law and been released from the Law and not under the Law anymore but under grace - how do we live now the true Christian life because we are in the New Covenant and the Old Covenant with the Law of Moses is obsolete?

People often say to those that speak of the grace of God and that they are not under the law of Moses anymore that they believe they are without "laws" now.

We do have laws in the New Covenant. They are exciting laws that bring life and wholeness to us all - because these are all Christ Himself in us.

There is no greater revelation than to know Him and the Father
and to plumb the depths of their love and grace towards us which Paul says in Eph. 2:7 - the Father will be doing for all the ages to come to us.

Ephesians 2:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP]so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Jesus fulfilled the Law. The Law was a mere shadow of the real thing which was Jesus.

Read the law to see Jesus in it and to know that Jesus did that for us and His life in us now leads us in all things. Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.

We now live by:

1) The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. ( Romans 8:2 )

2) The law of love ( Romans 13:10 James 2:8 )

3) The law of faith ( Romans 3:27 and the law of Moses is NOT of faith - Gal. 3:12 )

4) The law of liberty ( James 1:25 )

5) The law of Christ - which is Christ Himself in us. ( Gal. 6:2 )

We can trust the Holy Spirit in us to lead us in all affairs of life. We don't go back to the law of Moses that were a shadow of the real thing which is Christ in us.. Jesus is more then enough
.

Yes...we glory in the laws that we have in the New Covenant because they are all Christ Himself living in and through us. ( Gal.2:20 and Col. 3:3 )

Get this wrong and we create a religion which really nullifies the grace of God from operating in our lives like it was meant to.

Galatians 5:22-23 (NASB)

[SUP]22 [/SUP] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

[SUP]23 [/SUP]
gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

It seems that our stumbling stone is ' whose are the 10 commandments ?
I say 'GOD's and you say 'Moses. So please tell me if Jesus kept and taught GOD's/His Fathers commandments Joh 15v10, or did He say He kept Moses commandments, and please give scripture for your belief.
I am talking of the 10 commandments teaching love to God and neighbour...not any other Jesus also kept but don't apply to Christians as for inst the law of Moses.

The real stumbling stone is thinking we can be righteous by the keeping of the law of Moses. Paul says Christ Himself is the stumbling stone for all those that try to be righteous by their law-keeping.

There is a Law of the 10 commandments and there is a spirit of Christ within us. Here is what 'scripture" says about the 10 commandments. The laws that Jesus kept from His Father were the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, the law of faith , the law of love, the law of Christ Himself. The Law of Moses was fulfilled in His life.

The word "law" in Greek means principle, rules and it can mean the Law of Moses too - living by the principles of the law of Moses. Jesus called it the Law of Moses too.

The 10 commandments were called the ministry of condemnation and of death by Paul.
We can trust the life of Christ in us to live godly in this world.

The grace of God "teaches" now in the New Covenant how to deny ungodliness and to live sensibly, righteous and godly in this present age - NOT the law of Moses. Titus 2:11-12

The 10 commandments are called the "letter that kills" and the "ministry of death" - The New Covenant is called the "ministry of the Spirit" that brings Life.

The 10 commandments were called "the ministry of condemnation" - the New Covenant is called "the ministry of righteousness." This is Christ's righteousness given to us that believe.

2 Corinthians 3:6-9 (NASB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

[SUP]7 [/SUP] But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was,

[SUP]8 [/SUP] how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory?

[SUP]9 [/SUP] For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory.

The law of Moses including the 10 commandments are like an x-ray machine - they show up things that are wrong but the x-ray machine has no power to "fix it".

It just reveals what is wrong. It's the same here for Christ Himself and His life in our new hearts is the only thing that can "fix us" with a transformed live.

Technicallyit would be cohal or assembly. Israel was is and is going to be the name Elohim uses address His assembly.

CHAPTER AND VERSE PLEASE?

JESUS DIDN'T CALL US ISRAEL.

Matthew 16:18 (YLT)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] `And I also say to thee, that thou art a rock, and upon this rock I will build my assembly, and gates of Hades shall not prevail against it;

Matthew 18:17 (YLT)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] `And if he may not hear them, say it to the assembly, and if also the assembly he may not hear, let him be to thee as the heathen man and the tax-gatherer.

Yes and Acts 4v12 tells that very very clearly ! whereas Heb 13v8 says something different, describing Jesus unchangable nature....I'll stay with that !
That is your privilege to choose not to follow the Word of God. If we really fear God and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, I would think we should tread lightly on privilege and choice as it has the ability to send us down the pathway to Matthew 7. If we really fear God, then we would want to be as accurate as possible in anything concerning His Word. But remember this, unless we are one of his elect, and our spiritual eyes and ears are opened, no amount of evidence will convince us.

Matt. 12 is talking about how to obey the Sabbath command not telling you Messiah is the Sabbath. He is the Lord of the Sabbath.
Did you look up that verse in the original Greek? The evidence is quite clear by the original text. In that verse we see Jesus as man, God, and rest. To back it up what does Jesus tell us in Matthew 11: 28? There we read:

Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

How could He give us rest if He is the Lord of Rest? He can give us rest because HE IS OUR REST! Remember, the seventh day was when God rested after creation. Now God does not get tired nor need to rest. So what is all this about anyway? Why were the Jews commanded to do no work on the Sabbath, but to rest? It is because God warns us that His Salvation is of Himself. We are to do no works to contribute to it. In the days of the Jews you would be put to death if you worked on the Sabbath. That signifies eternal death if we work for our Salvation. The Jews went from slavery in Egypt to a land flowing with milk and honey. They didn't even have to cultivate the land. That was their rest and a picture of our Salvation, Jesus Christ. He is our rest!

post all the translations you want does not make it true.

there is not a single verse that says the lords day is sunday now or never will.
this is false doctrine and a man made tradation.

also this is a vision of a future event called the dreadfull [Day of the Lord],
comming to a planet near [or on] real soon to this evil generation living today.
Revelation 1:10 (NIV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

John's revelation occurred on the Lord's Day while he was in the Spirit. Some have indicated that "the Lord's Day" refers to the first day of the week. However, the word "Lord's" is an adjective and this expression is never used in the Bible to refer to the first day of the week. Probably John was referring to the day of the Lord, a familiar expression in both Testaments (cf. Isa. 2:12; 13:6, 9; 34:8; Joel 1:15; 2:1, 11, 31; 3:14; Amos 5:18, 20; Zeph. 1:7-8, 14, 18; 2:3; Zech. 14:1; Mal. 4:5; 1 Thes. 5:2; 2 Peter 3:10). "In the Spirit" could also be rendered "in [my] spirit" (cf. Rev. 4:2; 17:3; 21:10). That is, he was projected forward in his inner self in a vision, not bodily, to that future day of the Lord when God will pour out His judgments on the earth.

The Bible Knowledge Commentary: An Exposition of the Scriptures by Dallas Seminary Faculty.
1:10 in the Spirit. This was not a dream. John was supernaturally transported out of the material world awake—not sleeping—to an experience beyond the normal senses. The Holy Spirit empowered his senses to perceive revelation from God (cf. Acts 10:11). Lord’s Day. This phrase appears in many early Christian writings and refers to Sunday, the day of the Lord’s Resurrection. Some have suggested this phrase refers to the Day of the Lord (see note on 1 Thess. 5:2), but the context doesn’t support that interpretation, and the grammatical form of the word Lord is adjectival, thus “the Lord’s day.” loud voice. Throughout Revelation, a loud sound or voice indicates the solemnity of what God is about to reveal.

The MacArthur Bible Commentary.

It is not often that Dr. John MacArthur and the Dallas Theological Professors or of opposite opinions, but they sure are this verse.

There is insufficient evidence to offer conclusive evidence for either side of this disagreement of opinions. At best it is a coin toss.

It's a common thread to fallow. When Messiah says I am the way, truth, and life he is making aligorical or parabolic reference to the Instruction In righteousness or the light of the word. You have to go to the scriptures to see aligorical reference is made all the time. What He is saying is come to me the word of YHWH Elohim that leads to life and freedom in blessings and promised eternal life to come without sin. If you go to the Messiah of YHWH Elohim in other words you will find rest because you will find the Sabbath and rest as He did. I think looking at this with honest eyes you will find rest and peace. To say God doesn't need rest is an understatement and not a fair judgment however because it should be obvious Sabbath is for man as Messiah stated.

So you are saying in front of God and others that almighty God who never sleeps nor slumbers is fallible and weak enough to need rest? The very fact that God needs NO rest is how we are signaled that this rest is signifying something else. In Mark 4: 33-34 we read:

33 And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.

34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things unto his diciples.

In Matthew 13:34 we read:

All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

As they were able to hear it. See, if we are not one of God's elect, we are not able to see the deep truths of the Scripture. God must open our Spiritual eyes and ears (He does this through the comforter, the Holy Spirit) to see and hear the truth of the Bible.
You all keep arguing back and forth about some work you can do like going to church or worshipping Him. Because man in his pride has to feel he is in control and doing something to make himself worthy to God. When in Ephesians 2:8-10 God tells us it is from Him. Even our faith is not of ourselves. And verse 10 tells us that even our good works are ordained of God that we should walk in them.

Since satan has infiltrated the churches we have fallen into the same trap the Jews did. We follow the doctrines of scribes (modern day doctors of theology), and Pharisees (devout men like Moody, or Joseph Smith, or Ellen G. White) and people through these tainted religions are totally indoctrinated and brainwashed into believing a lie. (It is harder to for a rich man to enter into heaven etc.) because only God can give us the ability to break these bonds and see the truth of the scriptures. When you see in the Scripture where He came to set the captives free, of whom do you think He was speaking?

What I am trying to say, is let the Bible be the final authority. It can and will stand on it's own. And we cry out in all humility that God will save us, and open our Spiritual eyes and ears that we might see His truths as he draws us to Himself.

We read in Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, and Luke 21:33:

Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

there is 8 places in the new testement that have (first day of the week?

lets see if God changed the day in any of them verses.
the first day of the week in verses
Mt 28:1 ,Mr 16:2,Mr 16:9,Lu 24:1

none of the verses above changes the 7th day to 1st day,
is not a day of worship, the first day people saw Jesus.
this was a normal work day for people

Joh 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was (yet dark),
unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

John tells use that while it was (still dark), Mary found the tomb empty.
this was not a sunrise service at all, he was allready gone from there.

Joh 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week,
when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews,
came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

the doors locked, assembled fear of there lives, was not a day of rest, it was a work day.
nothing here in verse changes the sabbath day, or is not a religious meeting.

Why did Jesus not even tell the Apostles about sunday
John sees the lords day in a future vision, no day of week even mentioned.
Please read posts 364 and 365. There we have definitive proof the seventh day Sabbath ended. You have to go to the original Greek text though because in the KJV the Scholars didn't do such a good job translating. The very words in the Greek define the end of the seventh day Sabbaths. Now no arguing or evidence will convince a person of the Truths of the Scriptures. Only God can open our Spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear the Truth. If the Bible alone, and in it's entirety is not our authority, then we will come to all kinds of wrong conclusions. But don't take it from me, look it up for yourself. I'm sure you are well indoctrinated enough to come up with some long answer or excuse of how that is not what the Words actually are or saying if you are so dead set on following other authorities.

Let me put it into simple human terms. Our Sabbath (rest) is Jesus Christ, our Messiah, God the Creator. The Jews were commanded to do no work on the seventh day (under the fear of death) as it looked forward to the advent of Jesus, our Sabbath rest. Any work we would do was to signify our working for our salvation which God alone accomplishes. With the advent of Christ, He fulfilled the Sabbath rest. Now we look back on that fulfillment and it is signified by the Sabbath day change as recorded in Matthew 28:1. (You have to look it up in the original Greek text as the KJV was poorly translated in this instance.)

Now we look back on that fulfillment and it is signified by the Sabbath day
change as recorded in Matthew 28:1. (You have to look it up in the original
Greek text as the KJV was poorly translated in this instance.)
We will always look back on the seventh day of creation in remembrance of,
Also we look forward to when [the whole world] and [all creation] will be at rest.

Matthew 28 does not change the day of worship as you think.

“In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week,
came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre” (Matthew 28:1).

The King James, along with just about every other Bible version, translates
the first part of this verse, “In the end of the sabbath” or “after the sabbath.”

Yes you study the Greek text, you learn that the word for sabbath is
actually plural! “After the sabbaths,” it should read.

Jesus crucified on a Wednesday afternoon and buried later that evening,
before sunset. The next day, Thursday, was an annual [high] sabbath.
The day after that, was preparation day for the regular weekly Sabbath.

The reason Matthew refers to sabbaths, plural, is because there were
two sabbaths that week! When Matthew says Mary came early Sunday morning,
before dawn, after one of the sabbaths, he is referring to the weekly Sabbath.

-

There is one more sequence of events that provides additional support for
the 72-hour time frame and the fact that there were two “sabbaths” this week.

Mark 16:1 says Mary Magdalene and her companions bought spices
“when the sabbath was past.” They were planning to prepare these
ointments and spices so that they might anoint the body of Jesus.

Yet Luke 23:56 says they prepared these spices and then rested on the
weekly Sabbath day. Compare these two texts carefully.

Christ inspired four different Gospel accounts to be written so that all the
important details of His life might be canonized. Mark said these women
bought the spices after the sabbath was past. Luke said they prepared
the spices before the Sabbath arrived.

Those who hold to the Good Friday-Easter belief must conclude that these
verses are a glaring contradiction. They are not! They complement each
other perfectly, if you understand that there were two sabbaths that week.

The women bought the spices on Friday, after the annual sabbath on Thursday.
They prepared the spices that same day, before the weekly Sabbath,
and then rested on the Sabbath according to God’s command.

When Mary approached the tomb early Sunday morning, before sunrise,
an angel nearby exclaimed, “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.
Come, see the place where the Lord lay” (Matthew 28:6).

There were no eyewitnesses to Christ’s resurrection,
and there is only one historical record: the Holy Bible.

Christ’s proof of His messiahship was singular:
the length of time He would be in the ground.

Yes indeed! He had already risen—the day before, just prior to sunset
at the end of the weekly Sabbath. His death, burial and resurrection
happened precisely the way He prophesied it would happen.

So you are saying in front of God and others that almighty God who never sleeps
nor slumbers is fallible and weak enough to need rest? The very fact that God
needs NO rest is how we are signaled that this rest is signifying something else.
The Sabbath was made by Jesus Christ , and He said plainly
that He is Lord also of the Sabbath! (Mark 2:28).

It was made for mankind, not just for the jews but[ all flesh] even animals.

On the seventh day He MADE THE SABBATH! But the Sabbath was made,
not by work, but by rest. What He ended on the seventh day was the work of
creation—that which was created by work! On the seventh day He rested!

He created the Sabbath by resting.

Was He so fatigued He was forced to stop and rest?
Positively not, for God “fainteth not, neither is weary”! (Isaiah 40:28).

Yet, this was a real rest, because in Exodus 31:17 it is written: “…
in six days the Lord [Christ] made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested,
and was refreshed.” Since He was “refreshed” by this rest, it was a real rest.

Yet He was not tired or weary! Why did He rest? To put His divine presence in that day!
He made the Sabbath day by resting, whereas He had made all other things by working!

Notice further! Also He “blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it”!
What does “sanctified” mean? Look in your dictionary.

It means “set apart, for holy use or purpose.” He set apart this day
from other days—set it apart for holy use—for a day of physical
rest, in which His people may assemble and worship God!

Therefore what God did—and God did it by Christ—
was to make future TIME holy!

No man has power to make anything holy.God alone is holy—or whatever God has
made holy! No group or organization of men has authority to make future time holy!

Gods presence is Holy

“Moses! Moses!” called God, “… put off thy shoes from off thy feet,
for the place whereon thou standest is HOLY GROUND” (Exodus 3:2-5).

The ground a mile away was not holy. Why did it make any difference whether
Moses took off his shoes—or where? Here is why! The ground where he then
stood was holy . He was required, by God, to treat holy ground with a respect
he did not treat other ground.

And why? Well, what made that particular bit of ground holy?
God’s very presence was in that ground! God is holy !
God’s presence in that bush made the ground around it holy!

In the very same manner, God’s presence is in His Sabbath.
He rested on that first Sabbath to put His presence in that day!

And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments,
which if a man do, he[God] shall even live in them.[us]

What I am trying to say, is let the Bible be the final authority.
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another,
and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh
come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

In the future man will be required to keep Gods Sabbaths.
God will do away with our current calander, with heathen origans.

Zechariah 14:18 (KJV)
And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain;
there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen
that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Isaiah 2:3 (KJV)Micah 4:2 (KJV)

It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days
the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

No clear picture that this is even a day of the week , or which day even.
But funny people will use this verse to claim that it means sunday instead anyway.

ISRAEL Literally MEANS ISRAEL in the Bible, the true Jewish Believers
who are actually blood decendents of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord:
and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

-

God promised Abraham’s literal, human,flesh-and blood descendants should
become “a great nation” Gen12:2 that He would “multiply thee exceedingly”
(Genesis 17:2); that“thou shalt be a father of many nations”;
“I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee”.

Genesis 15:18:Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt
[the Nile] unto the great river, In Genesis 17:8, God promised “all the land
of Canaan,” other scriptures He promised much more was added.

Because that Abraham obeyed My voice, and kept my charge,
my Commandments, my Statutes, and my Laws.Genesis 26:5

Gen 24:60 Abraham’s daughter-in-law: “e thou the mother of thousands
of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.”

“By myself have I sworn, saith the [Eternal],
because thou hast done, not withheld thy only son

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed
as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore;
and thy seed shall possess the gates of his enemies.

14And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad
to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and
in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed

Genesis 28:15 “I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest,
and will bring thee againinto this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done
that which I have spoken to thee of”

-

But after years of trial and test—after finally wrestling all night with the angel
after confessing his name as “supplanter” (Genesis 32:24-29)

That God appeared to Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel. Gen. 35:11

God bestowed His blessing upon Jacob, and took away his reproachful name,
and gave him a new, untainted name, Israel— which means “prevailer,” or
“overcomer with God.”

through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the promises were handed down to one
man at a time, -The sceptre shall not depart from Judah …” (Genesis 49:10).
But the birthright was Joseph’s” (1 Chronicles 5:2).

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest
by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars
of heaven, and all this [land] that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed,
and they shall inherit it for ever. Exodus 32:13 (KJV)

Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will
make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy
seed after thee for an everlasting possession” (Genesis 48).

“And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were
born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into
Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine”

The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my
name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;
and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth”

Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker,
[Ask me of things to come ]concerning my sons, and concerning
the work of my hands command ye me. Ecclesiastes 1:11

Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel,
and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land
that floweth with milk and honey.-

“Behold, the days come, saith the [Eternal],
that I will perform that good thing which I have promised..

18In those days [the house of Judah] shall walk with [the house of Israel],
and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that
I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

But of Ephraim and Manasseh, sons of Joseph, the dying Israel said,
“[L]et my name be named on them” (Genesis 48:16).

And truly they now bear the name of Israel.

NOR DID HE DIVORCE THEM.
15Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend;

“Because they had not executed MY judgments, but had despised MY statutes,
and had polluted MY sabbaths, and their eyes were after their FATHERS’ idols”

The children of Israel, through sin, were driven out
of the Promised Land that belonged with the birthright.

-130 year after Isreal lost and long gone, Judah goes captive.
that faithless one, Israel, how she…played the harlot…

[A]nd her false sister Judah saw it. She saw that for all the
adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, I had sent her away

with [a decree of divorce]; yet her false sister Judah
did not fear, but she too went and played the harlot also.

And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery
I had put her away, and given her [a bill of divorce]; yet her treacherous sister Judah
feared not,but went and played the harlot also. Jeremiah 3:8

I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel,
and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen,
and the house of which I said, My name shall be there” (2 Kings 23:27).

-Only those of the tribe of Judah, together with remnants of Benjamin and Levi,
who constituted only the children of Israel, those in the house of Judah, returned.

“Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin,
and the priests, and the Levites…” (Ezra 1:5).

-

King David was of the tribe of Judah. All succeeding kings of David’s dynasty
were of the house of David, tribe of Judah. Jesus Christ was born of the house
of David and the tribe of Judah.-Jew, grace the scepter—the promise of Christ
and of grace—was passed on to the Jews! “Salvation,” Jesus said, “is of the Jews”

-

“For the children of Israel walked in all the (sins of Jeroboam) which he did;
“Therefore the Eternal was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight

there was (none left) but the tribe of Judah only” (2 Kings 17:18, 23).
Israel began to be “carried away out of their own land to Assyria” .

“And I will wait upon the Lord, that hideth his face from
the house of Jacob (sinful Isreal) Isaiah 8:17:

“Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom [house of Israel] —
[Judah had not yet sinned], and I will destroy it [the kingdom, or government, not
the people] from off the face of the earth.…

For, lo, I will command, and I will sift [the house of Israel] among [all nations],
like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth”
(Amos 9:8-9).

Driven to Assyrian captivity, then migrating from there and scattering among
other nations before the Jews were taken to Babylon. This prophecy says that
the house Israel (not Judah) was to be sifted among other nations

A New Homeland - It was during this time that the children of the house
of Israel were to “abide many days without a king” (Hosea 3:4).

The Eternal says, in 2 Samuel 7:10 and 1 Chronicles 17:9:

“Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them
that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more

Jeremiah was commissioned to do the planting of the throne among them,
see Jeremiah great commision, and why he ends up with the kings daughters.

7And the remnant of Jacob[sinning Israel] shall be in the midst of many people
as a dew from the Lord, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man,
nor waiteth for the sons of men.

8And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people
as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep:
who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

Therefore God give thee (Jacob) of the dew of heaven and the fatness of the earth,
and plenty of corn and wine increase and possession]: Let people serve thee, and
nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren

and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that
curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee” Gen 27:26-29

The Jews did not lose there [Sabbath sign] like the no. tribes did.
The Jews had to get there capital back for this end time event to happen.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle;
and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished;
and( half of the city) shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the
people shall not be cut off from the city.

There are three phases to this crisis. Zechariah starts at the Second Coming
of Christ, the third phase, and works his way backward chronologically.

-
The Scriptures plainly tell us that Israel was to lose its identity, its language,
its religion, its land, and its name-[the Sabbath sign or badge] God hidding his
face from them. Isreal became slaves, then lost to the world, dispersed with
there captures, by devorce thus becoming the lost 10 tribes,
-

a Jewish colony that was subordinate to the Roman Empire. “He came
unto his own,” it says in John 1:11, “and his own received him not.”

The Jews rejected Jesus and so He turned to the Gentiles instead, some
assume. “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel”

Jesus said His mission was to reach the house of Israel (not the house of
Judah) and that Israel’s identity (obviously not Judah’s) had become lost.

Jesus commanded His disciples not to preach the gospel in Gentile regions
(Paul would take care of that—see Acts 18:6), but to go instead to the
“lost sheep” of the house of Israel.

In Jesus’s stead, all the original apostles were sent to the lost sheep of Israel.
This is why, after Acts 11, you read very little about the original 12.
Once they went to the lost sheep of Israel, history lost sight of them.

The nation of Israel today: Who these people are is a little misleading.

The nation of Israel today is made up of the decendents of the house of Judah,
not the house of Israel or the no. kingdom , that is lost to the worlds view.

-Wherever you see the name “Israel,” or “house of Israel,” or “Samaria,”
“Jacob,” or “Rachel,” or “Ephraim” and or "Manasseh" used in prophecy,

remember this: It never refers to the Jews, but to Israel
For truly, the name “Israel” was named on the sons of Joseph! (Genesis 48:16)

Thus saith the Lord God; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but
for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

23And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen,
which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that
I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

24For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries,
and will bring you into your own land.25Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you,
and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will
take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27And I will put my spirit within you, and [cause you to walk] in [my statutes],
and ye[ shall] keep [my judgments], and do them.

And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers;and ye shall be my
people, and I will be your God. I will also save you from all your uncleannesses

and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
30And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that
ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

31Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were
not good, and [shall lothe yourselves] in your own sight for your iniquities
and for your abominations.

38As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall
the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

(Genesis 17:2); that“thou shalt be a father of many nations”;

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed
as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore;
and thy seed shall possess the gates of his enemies.

The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my
name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;
and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth”

Once again, you got very long winded, without proving anything, other than GOD's Chosen People (Nation) are those of the right bloodlines, whose ancestors were those whom GOD gave the Land of Canaan to as an eternal covenant, when they entered the land. NOTHING IN THERE gives the right to those not of those bloodlines, to call themselves spiritual Israelites.

The way you debate and argue is very typical of someone who is involved in a Psuedo Christian Cult.

Haven't you ever heard the expression, "Wise is the man of few words."

. . .

And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery
I had put her away, and given her [a bill of divorce]; yet her treacherous sister Judah
feared not,but went and played the harlot also. Jeremiah 3:8

. . .

Long winded again, like a cult member I see. I had to edit your post down to just the one verse, just to make room for my short post. I can destroy your whole argument with oniy 2 or 3 verses:

Acts 4:10 (NRSV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that this man is standing before you in good health by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead.

Romans 9:6-7 (NCV)
6 It is not that God failed to keep his promise to them. But only some of the people of Israel are truly God’s people,
7 and only some of Abraham’s descendants are true children of Abraham. But God said to Abraham: “The descendants I promised you will be from Isaac.“

MY TURN:

I have heard you also argue time and again, that you do not believe in Church ordinances that you cannot see in black and white in the Scriptures, forgetting we only have the Highlights of what all Jesus said and did in the Bible (John 21:25), and you say you reject them because they come from Man, and not from GOD. If I remember right, you even reject celebrating His Birth and His Resurrection, for example, and many other things.

HOW THEN DO YOU DEAL WITH THIS VERSE?

1 Peter 2:13-15 (NKJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme,
[SUP]14 [/SUP] or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men--

AND just in case you think you do not sin, every ordinance of man, certainly includes the Posted Speed Limit, and every time you break it, YOU SIN.
