THE COMING of THE LORD (for HIS SAINTS) is quite a different thing than the DAY of THE LORD (for the unexpected and the unbelievers)

but they both occur at the same time.

Did the High Priest see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of God and coming with the clouds (armies) of heaven? Christ said he would. Should we take Christ at His word? I think it would be wise to do so.

Jesus predicted the same thing in Mat 24, right?

Therefore immediately after the great tribulation of the Jews in 70 AD, Christ is seen with the armies of heaven. He was coming to pass judgment and to execute wrath on those who killed Him. Those of that "faithless and perverse" generation. Is there any room for doubt here? What else did Christ say in Mat 24?

This can only mean that the generation which killed Him would see EVERYTHING that Christ foretold and it will all happen in their generation.

All eyes shall see HIM
Even those who pierced HIM

Yes I believe HE will come again

but only after all has been accomplished
When the FULL NUMBERS in CHRIST are complete and HE has put the last of HIS enemies under HIM

HE is going to (temporarily) hide HIS face from Jacob's struggles

Not all who belong to THE ISRAEL of GOD are in THE ISRAEL of GOD

i know the scripture and I understand that not all have heard the voice of the son of GOD
I know where those who have heard HIS voice now are and I know where those who hear HIS voice after the end of all these things are

And I know an earthly temple will be rebuilt, I know sacrifices will be reinstated, I am not sure of a prwteib rapture bug I know those who hold to the Testimony of Jesus have a part in the first resurrection

and remember, blessed are those who have a part in the first resurrection

So He came on the clouds of Heaven (to the throne of God) after His resurrection. The chief priests 'saw it'. They were aware that it had happened even if they would not admit it,

a totally different event, which will occur at the end.

But He had not come visibly. This visible coming was at the end of time.,

at the end of the day one or the other is irrelevant....the abomination that makes desolate (image of the beast) is placed in the holies.....placed where it ought not to be placed......it has never been about the building, but the presence of God and his abode!
