It has not yet happened.. so no. No one can.. Many will say it happened back near AD 70, but it does not fit.. Isreal did not repent..

So that none is like it;
And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble,
But he shall be saved out of it. [SUP]8 [/SUP]‘For it shall come to pass in that day,’
Says the Lord of hosts,
‘That I will break his yoke from your neck,

Foreigners shall no more enslave them.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But they shall serve the Lord their God,
And David their king,
Whom I will raise up for them.
1. They are still slaves to Gentiles
2. They are still in sin
3. Their king has risen, but has not yet returned.
Also.
1. That Day is so great that none is like it,, At no time on earth before or after will it be that severe. (see also matt 24 where Jesus talks about great tribulation, and non being like it)
2. He (Jacob) will be protected..
