It seems to me that the people who trash works and Gods holy word are just out for rewards From God for trying to make everyone come to there understanding of there Faith coz theres is the best and right way.

The sad thing is they also think because they are seeking rewards they can also trash as many believers who they like who they havent met.

The reality is what is written is true and we will all be Judged on Judgement day.......... where if you keep the faith untill the end of your walk...in this body..You will recieve Your ultimate prize... Now what could that be ...

Even if i do stand befor God and boast is he going to send me to hell for making an honest mistake... The honest part of me thinking its ok to boast about works in his name..

I mean is that something i will burn in hell for coz if it is then why is he saving such people who do boast. ?

Jim....what you say belies that you have no understanding what we have said and or imply....NO ONE TRASHES WORKS just that we point to the PROPER perspective on WORKS....

WORKS do NOT SAVE us or KEEP US SAVED......the WORKS are the result of the faith and salvation that we already possess...open your eyes to the truth and set aside the religious dogma that hinders the truth......!

Big difference between in,the things of men or towards God, and of as the things coming from God. We cannot have faith in Christ unless we are first given the faith of ,of God. We are saved by His work of faith His labor of Love not of us lest any boast in false pride. Believing God is a work of God, as the work required


Joh 6:29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Joh 6:29

If we begin with the hearing of His faith, by that work we saved to the end. God does not start something and then say; you are on your own work to gain salvation. Rather we work out that which he freely gives, that faith works in the believers to both will and do the good pleasure

There is no limbo or purgatory between. His gracee according to His work of faith, labor of love is all that is needed to hear God, our first love, the first works of God by which we can believe . Without His faith working in us no man could hear and therefore believe to the salvation of our soul.

The boasting in what they have done and his admission that he has NEVER KNOWN THEM points to the symptom...they were never saved....why? Because they attempted to make it based upon their works....and the bible is clear...

NOT by WORKS of righteousness which we HAVE DONE....but ACCORDING to HIS mercy has HE SAVED US<--PAST TENSE JIM

The bible states that some will boast befor God for how good there house was... now maybe God will look at that and say i will provide for you enough of what you need....

Now he may also say rrrrr but did ya have an opauge roof with bmw 6250 series sports with leather racing seats or do you have a mercedes benz... coz i believer God likes his cars what do ya think..

Could he have even of told us how to make them faster ?

Now because the bible states someone will boast befor God does that mean you should help them or condem then to hell..

coz isnt it only the lord who decides who will go to hell even if a man does boast all his life maybe his boasting was a gift so in my book he could still walk with me in heaven... coz it is written there will be many sinners in heaven...

The bible is clear....if you are going to boast....boast in the cross of Christ, not self and or one's own works......

But we're reading the same Bible and come up with different ideas.
How do you explain that?

How else might we know the truth?

I don't have to explain it...the bible does that for me.......salvation, maturity, growth and honesty, having eyes to see etc.....

Even though we are not save by works but all of us Christians has been called for good work as it is written, "Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good works (Titus 2:14)."

I think some have been following the wrong beliefs for far to long and maybe people running to the wrong people here to back up the belief system.

Let just hope that lord doesnt let this devide but it is and has devided many.
btw im on the fence just a passing bystander... i may be gone again soon so anyways wish all the good workers well and well the bad workers i wish you would see the light..

Nope you won't go to hell.

Truth is Jimbo I think when we stand before God he will lay bare everything we have done and said as beleivers.
We will not be in a position to boast.

Yes we we have the sheep and the goats that Jesus talked about but in a sense they were pleading after they were cast aside.

They say but we did this and we did that.

Jesus will see right through that. Yes you did works but you do not know me, your works were to impress me and not done out of love for me or others. You see it's all about you and nothing to do with me>

Now for those of have placed their faith in Jesus for the forgivenss of unbelief in him, whom then are sealed with the Holy Spirit who works to conform us to the image of Christ.

When everything is laid bare before Jesus on judgement day the only thing we can boast in is our faith in Jesus.
