God is not against people becoming rich. God is against even poor people valuing money above Him. Whatever is ones financial condition the requirement is to be a good steward of what God has bestowed upon them.

Well I figured out what the acronym meant lol. Well Jesus did teach that, so sounds fine to me.
He actually did. But, many people want so desperately to get the chance to hate certain specific groups and individuals, that they create a label that makes it convenient to smack people with................... and totally turn their backs on those very blessings God will give us.

Wasn't there a caveat?

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

Faith is blessed assured hope in the evidence that is yet unseen. I read a story once about some guy who was in desperate financial straits. One day he prayed to God for winning a nominal sum in the lottery. Week after week went by but he still didn't win. One day He asked God why He didn't answer his prayer. God said, "I want to answer your prayer but this requires action on your part. Could you at least meet me half-way and buy a ticket?" As for winning Powerball, I would very happy settling for winning a nominal sum of just a million. I haven't bought a ticket yet but then I haven't prayed to God for blessing me and my wife in this specific financial way. Still there must be action on my part of some sort or my faith in this prayer may return void.

Living as a Christian, are you going to knowingly ask something that is "out of His will?"

Not that the Word of God is EVER enough for the idolatry of WoF/Prosperity lies:

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 1 Timothy 6:9.

...and they still follow the false gospel...and fight against those who expose the false teachers.

Unreal.
A wonderful panorama of color here HAHA---A Kaleidoscope of truth....and color HAHAHA love it and agree

My best friend actually won the very first lottery in Florida. And he has never played the lottery in his life. It about freaked out the gal running the show back then, when he spoke about that on TV.

My mom won the top prize in Florida's Fantasy Five a few years ago. She won a pretty penny on that one.

Nah, didn't get a dime. I just found out about it a few months ago. It happened 9 or 10 years ago. If I knew about it at the time it probably would have been good for at least a steak in a nice restaurant.

I rarely play...like I bought 1 ticket when it hit a billion almost....the truth is...If I ever won I would retire everyone I know and then hit every children's hospital in the U.S. and pass out cash to every family there at the time......my problem is the 300 million to 1 odds HAHAHA

Interestingly, Tom found the ticket while cleaning his business' parking lot, and it was a losing "scratch-off". In those days, losing tickets had a provision for sending them in to the Lottery headquarters to be entered into the end-of-the-year final drawing. His employees talked him into doing that. (I think they might have actually been the ones who sent it in for him.)

As we tried to figure it out later, it turns out the ticket was purchased at a convenience store very near my place of employment. Our crews would stop at Tom's store to buy paint in the mornings, and we figured one of our guys stopped for coffee, bought the ticket, and just threw it up on his dashboard because it was a "loser." The wind probably blew it out of his truck, onto the parking lot of Tom's store.
