So my little girl won 2 Blue medals last Sat in Science Olympiad (3,2, 1 blast off and data crunchers). Praise God, he is awesome like that.
He has truly blessed me and watching her grow up is awesome. After she was baptized in 1st grade she told me how she was telling her teacher about it. Later that day a little girl asked what it meant to be baptized and she told her "it's when you accept Jesus in your life and know that God loves you so much you become part of His family"

I don't think I could preach the gospel as purely and with as much love and trust as my seven year old daughter did.

Just something different to meditate upon.

I think that is why jesus said suffer not the little children.. They have not yet been tainted by the worlds greed and lust to the point they are still teachable. and just speak in simple terms everyone can understand.

Who said anything about running ourselves down? Who said we don't believe we are redeemed? Who said following Christ is a burden? We are just being honest about ourselves and our relationship with God and living in reality, something you seem to have trouble grasping. You know quite well the intent behind the verses you posted whether you admit it or not. It was pretty obvious.
So I post 5 verses about God blessing the righteous.

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.

This is the last I'll say because others have made a fair and true point that we will get no where by going in circles with each other.

You say the intent of the verses was about God blessing the righteous, yet you ended it with "With words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause.
Psalm 109:3".

You are making yourself a pariah and attempting to exalt yourself.

If you make your intent clear, which I understand is almost never the case with you (not bashing you, just saying your posts are very vague and hard to follow), it may help, but given past evidence, probably not.

There is a lot of passive aggression on your part in your posts, and if this isn't the case, you need to learn to be much more clear in your statements because the consensus seems to be that you are being accusatory and aggressive while at the same time pretending you are humble and caring.

So you desire to stay as you are.

There are always reasons why you do not want to listen to Gods word or
see good things He has to offer. And if you listen to the enemy there are
lots of things you could spin about my evil intent.

And what is my evil intent? To encourage us to follow Jesus and know purity
and love in our hearts.

Is there sin in our lives? If the answer is yes we should work to resolve this.
Christ loves us through this process and the walk is one of blessing.

If not resolving sin is Gods way and sharing about the power of Christ is being evil,
things are very bad.

I'm good....more rain, just got back from a town run and flying to AU on Monday for a month.....so......doing well.....how about you?

HAHAHAH Well, fly into Sydney and hang for a week or so, go fishing, see Vivid Sydney, food etc. and then off to Queensland for a week and some snorkeling, beach, see a rain forest etc....and then back to Sydney to finish it out....couple other reasons as well......it will be fun...always is....be my 6th trip and will have spent 5 months there after this one.....

I have a friend who is living in Australia :) in New South Wales :) my uncle goes to Australia to dive often too :) have a fun time and enjoy :) you are lucky to be on the 6th trip there and to have spent 5 months there after this... I will be stuck in college for the next month, my last month so a LOAD of stress and a ton of work. And you'll be on the other-side of the world having fun in perfect weather lol haha. I am jealous lol xD

I hope you will enjoy :) and that you get to see some koalas and kangaroos :D

AMEN....a child like faith....just simply believe it........it is a rather simplistic thing for God to say.....

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe......

To God it is absurd and foolish, but PLEASING to simply save those who believe....

He also inspired that

a. MEN must believe that he IS
b. Men must believe that he rewards those who diligently seek him

In a world of false gods, humanism, idolatry, self worship, etc. God simply wants men to acknowledge him by faith.....and exactly why he states...EXCEPT ye become as one of these little ones....

Children will simply believe and acknowledge anything you tell them.....SIMPLE FAITH!

Amen! Child like faith is how Jesus characterized conversion. It pictures faith as the simple, helpless, trusting, dependence of those who have no resources of their own. Like children, they have no achievements and no accomplishments to offer or commend themselves with. Jesus here is pointing to the need to have the same type of faith that little children exhibit.

The most trusting people in the world are children. Children have not acquired the obstructions to faith that often come with advanced education and exposure to the philosophies of men. Christ calls us to have the same kind of trust that little children naturally have. People must become as little children in humbly recognizing their helplessness in attaining the kingdon in their own strength. We are 100% dependent on Jesus to save us. :)

AMEN...NEW SOUTH WALES......have spent the first 4 month there....love it....It blows my mind I can step on a A-380 AIRBUS in DALLAS and 17 hours later step off in Sydney.....on the other side of the world and in the Southern Hemisphere.....Qantas rocks HAHAHAH
:O :O :O There is an Airbus area where they build parts of planes not too far from where I live! It's a 2 hour drive away and many people from my area move there, to work there :)

I have never flown with Qantas before :) I have used american airlines, and jet2. Didn't really think much of those airlines, with AA they delayed my flight back from America JFK back home to the UK by about 4 or 5 hours in the end. Did give a pillow there though, Jet2 was just crap and gave nothing.

Qantas rocks....free everything...pillows, blankets, meals, drinks, snacks, a plethora of entertainment, WiFi, etc........The A-380 has almost a 100 meter wingspan and carries 323,000 liters of fuel in the wings....can carry up to 800 people (stripped) usually around 500 or so....Usually fly around 41,000 feet and about 850 KM an hour or so......
