What is the true purpose of it's power, to protect the world , or it's own interest , or perhaps something far more darker. From the military station all around the world, to the years of military-industrial complex contracts it has, along with it's allies from NATO to The United Nations.

Let us discuss this in a civil way , from a biblical perspective shall we ???

I would also like to hear from men or women that have served , there point of view in scripture , those individuals , that are born again from God not man .

Have you served in the Military? People who want to judge the Military without ever having served, are quite similar to people who want to judge Christianity without ever having been a Christian.

Psalms 144:1 - ([A Psalm] of David.) Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight:

Luke 22:36) Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

Proverbs 25:26 - A righteous man falling down before the wicked [is as] a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.

1 Timothy 5:8 - But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Matthew 10:34
- Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Aren't ALL armies about protecting the country's (in some cases the leaders') own interests?
Surely if an army helps another army that is more a tactical thing than a friendly gesture.

As for "more"? yea, that is definitely conspiracy forum stuff

I have to kind of laugh at all the people who find the USA in Revelation. Aren't you guys aware enough to recognize that the USA will no longer exist in 50 years, or so? And that will likely be thousands of years before Christ returns.

Revelation 13:11-12 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Shall we begin ???

what this is p is this- there is a conspiracy theory that states the all the world leaders are luciferian , they all work together behind the scenes to bring in the new world order, the antichrist.

and the militaries of the world are doing their bidding, and soldiers are sacrifices to satan. there are many twists to this, but this is the basic idea.

The 2nd beast is Rome, just as the 1st beast is Rome.

They are the same entity.

The 1st and 2nd beast, the iron legs of Dan. 2, the 4th beast of Dan. 7, the harlot of Rev 17, are ALL Rome.

The USA is NOT spoken of in the Bible.

I've seen what animals American soldiers can be in leaked army videos, something that is probably censored in the US I don't know. But they think and pull the wool over peoples eyes that they are innocent heroes (and criminal actions are covered up through immunity, eg. many rapes occurred around the US base in Japan, many ending up without criminal charges). Just like many of the police in America, they remind me of how the army and the secret police in Nazi Germany worked, like an apathetic well-oiled machine. If the POTUS placed an executive order to round up and kill Muslims in the US, do you think they would obey? Of course they would.

This is what happens when guns are normalised into how you grow up. Gun stands for violence. If you think gun stands for peace, there is something wrong with your head.

Armed forces are meant to defend the fort, not occupy and occupy, not to start wars, or to cause a country to implode. The US military is an aggressive machine. Go bomb that country, don't worry about the collateral; more than happy to oblige. And it tends to be in God's name. And cleverly they tend to make other countries complicit in it, to do their dirty work (NATO).

The way America acts in the world, and how it manipulates the public through propaganda, weapons of mass destruction, 2 million people protesting against their government 'rather than against bombing', is pure evil.

America is a country of many closet fascists, who hide it under the pretence of 'doing good'.

It would be nice if for a change, America decided to bring peace to the world. Discussions with North Korea, discussions with Syria, acceptance of Russia's safe zones in Syria. The fact is there is an end goal and I'm not sure what it is. But a country spending trillions on it, is certainly not for charity, for God, or for doing good. Maybe it is just weapons marketing? I mean, they need a testing ground for their new weapons? Hey look, tested our Mother Of All Bombs, want to buy some?

Without American intervention, many of the terrorists who have acted, and terrorist groups such as ISIS, would not exist or be so powerful. Aggression creates aggression, it's simple mathematics. And with American coordination of incursions in the Middle East, the collateral has become the European Union. Maybe even, that was intended? I would not be surprised.

I'm a pacifist, but I do agree that having an army for defence is important. But that is all.

I was all for Donald Trump and I really hope he will change things. But unfortunately I think the same thing is happening to him. The American people like aggression! Crazy really. But he has learnt that aggression gives him a good rating. He has probably also learnt that the US Army dictates a lot of world policy. Such a dangerous thing. I hope he can think with his heart first, and inspire people to be more on the side of peace.

I've served aboard the USS Harry S Truman (2012-2016) Our carrier strike group has been deployed to the Persian Gulf twice. I did my part fueling the birds that went over there to bomb some ISIS baddies......if you want to badmouth someone , put the blame on the politicians, there are alot of young men and women on those ships just trying to provide money for their families, or to do their time like I did and get the GI Bill for school. Thats my two cents.........and no we're not killers, if it wasn't someone out there doing the dirty, you'd be invaded by now . thanks.

Although I do not act like it in any way, shape, form, or fashion, I did serve in the US military. It was possibly the worst decision I ever made in my life, and once I was honorably discharged, I told myself that I would work diligently to undo the programming and behavior modifications that I had to take on while serving in uniform. Obviously, I was successful.

As for the true purpose of the US military...I don't know for sure. I can only speculate. I was only an E-3 by the time I was discharged, so I was never privy to anything. I "think"; I "believe"; I "feel"...that the purpose of the US military is to perpetuate conflicts around the globe to keep money flowing in and out of the military industrial complex. I think that if the US didn't have some enemy to fight someplace, even if they have to create one out of thin air with the help of the CIA, that the military industrial complex would collapse and take the entire US economy and the rest of the worlds' economies with it.

I probably don't know what I'm talking about though, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Many people adored their time in service, and they are welcomed to their opinions. I only know how I feel.

That kinda negates Scripture that says God establishes these guys doesn't it?

Anyway, conspiracy theories aren't all that great unless Kevin Costner is starring in the Movie.

Well, actually the true purpose of the US military is to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic but to do this often requires drastic action that I detailed.

God bless you as well as those others that honorably served our country in the military. The 4 years I served in the army were the hardest years of my life but I don't regret my decision for enlisting and believe that this experience has served me well and helped defined the person that I am.

That's why it's called War. BTW, no one hates war more than the Soldiers who have to fight. What separates them from the folks who refuse to serve is that they volunteer to serve to protect the lives of those who refuse to serve,

Yes, to protect and defend the Constitution.......but to protect and defend the American lifestyle, and AL THE RIGHTS of the peoples......even those who despise the Soldiers. Without the American Soldier, these haters would not have the right of free speech and such...........don't want to get on a rant here though.......'nuff to say what one Soldier serving in The Nam said:

God and the Soldier we adore
In times of War and no more
When the danger is past
And all things righted
God is forgotten
And the Soldier slighted.

(unknown Soldier......Viet Nam 1969)
