That is a lie and not at all what I believe as I have stated, over and over.

Does it feel good to exalt yourself and put others down by lying about what is being said?

Didn't you make the statement that folks only hear what has been indoctrinated into them?

Are you blind than to your own log you accuse others of doing what you just did yourself?

I have stated over and over that the Holy spirit will change lives.

I don't believe in the dead faith of demons will save.,,mental accent is not enough. Neither is the heathen faith of works salvation or faith in the old covenant.

A saving faith is in Jesus and His finished work on the cross for the remission of sins and His resurrection and ascension to Heaven.

Only when someone has a saving faith and confesses with their mouth this saving faith is the Holy Spirit sent to seal a person unto salvation. Only then are they truly saved. The Holy spirit with chasren and teach each of God's born again children .

..If this doesn't happen, then they may not have a saving faith in Jesus and have been deceived by false gospels and lies of this world that lead them away from God and His light instead of towards it,
"The Heathen Faith of Works Salvation"

Your words.

Works are evil.
Works are for heathen.
Sounds like we are not to do works.

I assume you know what sanctification is.
Does sanctification require our works OR NOT?

Please answer in one sentence.
Thanks.

Amen...what works-based mindsets are really saying is that true Christians can lose their salvation and that their loving Father sends His beloved children to hell. There is "no purgatory" for the after-life.

Either we are one forever with Christ or we do not have Christ in us. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will be in us forever - but they say "NO, He will cast you aside because you didn't do all these good works."

Jesus is NOT a liar. I chose to believe in Him for life and living and He is our Savior. We don't save ourselves.

This going back and forth with them is a complete waste of time. The same things are being said page after page. We can leave it all in the hands of the Holy Spirit to reveal Christ to all of us.
God doesn't send his beloved children to hell.

They send themselves to hell.

John 15:1-6
John 15:5-6

If you abide in Christ, you are saved.
If you DO NOT abide in Christ, you are NOT saved.

If you leave Christ,
You leave salvation.

This is why I don't make one sentence responses because you twist what I say into a lie.

I have never said works are evil or for heathens.

I said even heathens believe they can do good works and earn their way into heaven..see Buddhist or Muslim religions for example.

The law of Karma, etc.

One sentence?

Sanctification requires God's work within us.

Amen.

God is Love and mercy.
But God is also JUST.

Some seem to refuse the Holiness of God, His purity, His Almighty nature.

Throughout the O.T. and the N.T. God has given us a choice. Even through His covenants. IF we choose HIm, He will bless us, IF we do not choose to follow His covenants He will curse us.

Deuteronomy 29:20-21
Deuteronomy 30:15, 19
Joshua 24:14-16

We are to choose whom we will SERVE. Serve is the word. Call it works, call it what you will, but the God who created the universe gives us the choice and we are to serve HIM. With no questions attached...
God, is just, whoever does not confirm and obey every jot and tittle of the law is cursed.

h does not give leeway, he does not water down his law. He gave a requirement, and said follow it or else.

For thae who ADMIT the can not, and come to him in grace and mercy by repenting, he gave us another option, his son.

When will you stop his nonsense?

no one is saying works are evil except you and Peter and a few of your buddies,

if if you are going to refuse to listen to a word everyone says, and continue use to slander them. Why bother even talking to them?

Sanctficatuon, do you sanctify yourself or does God sanctify you?

Please, if you want to boast of your works, can you do it someplace else, it makes true believers sick, because we work by gods power, he gets the credit not us.

Why do you think we do not boast that of works? We d them, we just realize apart from God they are meaningless.

Those that have received Christ are abiding in Christ. It is a place where believers are - in Christ. Paul talked about being in Christ and He is us over 140x times in his letters.

There is no such thing as leaving Christ - that is what the Catholic religion teaches and all those that teach works-based salvation which is an anti-Christ belief humanistic mindset that is nothing more than a religion and it is no different from any other religion in the world.

It is called the "works of the law".

Romans 3:20-24 (NASB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

[SUP]21 [/SUP]
But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,

[SUP]22 [/SUP] even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;

[SUP]23 [/SUP] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

[SUP]24[/SUP] being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;

Redemption is a gift received by grace not of works. It is only found in Christ.

The good works we do are from "being in Christ"..being led by the Holy Spirit. Notice God has prepared them for us. We walk them out as we live our lives dependent on Him. It is His fruit that bears in and through us.

Ephesians 2:8-10 (NASB)
[SUP]8[/SUP] For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

[SUP]9[/SUP] not as a result of works, so that no one may boast
.

[SUP]10[/SUP] For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

NOt by power not by might but by my spirit says the Lord. {Zechariah 4:6}

Some people just stand in the place of the Lord God. Instead of praying for others, they take unsound unprofounded, unreasonably, and sometimes their own paranoial actions, by their own works. When things are given over and put in the hands of God, then this is called FAith;, and Trust in God, and not doing something in your own might. All idol workers will be destroyed. There are a lot of passages on this, through out the bible. Possessiveness, obsessiveness is only an effort for self gain, in which that person it says will be destroyed. Back off the hIands of God, and put them on the bible, learn his ways, and not self ways, that "there is a way that seemeth right unto man, but the end of that way is death." Proverbs 16:25 Man's works are futile. THinking they have some kind of authority, and are going over board, is nothing but an obsession. off topic. have a blessed day with Jesus.

ths is contradictory

we are talking about what happens after salvation

but then declaired that we must work to stado saved, meaning we have never been saved to begin with, it was all just a false promise, no life.

If wks maintain salvation, then they save us period,

gal 3 was written f R this very reason, are you so foolish, having begun in the spirit (faith) are you now being perfected in the flesh (works, or maintaining ones salvation)
Why do you do this EG?
post scripture that has nothing to do with anything?

Galatians 3 is speaking about Jews who were returning to the Law.
The Law of Moses.

Are you stuck in the O.T. or the O.C.?

I'm talking about the N.T. and the N.C.

You should find out the difference between
Obedience to the Law
and
Obedience of Faith.

I will not give you the lesson since you don't trust me.
However, you SHOULD find out the difference.

I'll only say that IN BOTH CASES, we are REQUIRED to follow the Law.

Please see
Galatians 5:24-26

Those who belong to Christ are to crucify the flesh with its passions and desires.
If we live by the spirit, let us also WALK BY THE SPIRIT.

Do I hear in these verses that's it's enough to have faith in jesus?
No. I hear that we are to crucify the flesh.
This is repeated many times in the N.T.

I do not recall ever hearing Jesus say that it is SUFFICIENT to believe in Him to be saved.
I do hear that believing in Him will make it easier to FOLLOW HIM.

Big difference.

Being "obedient to the faith" is believing in Christ and His work for us for life and living.

Notice here that even the good moral living - full of good works law-keeping priests need to be "obedient to the faith". The keeping of the law of Moses is NOT the same as being
"obedient to the faith".

Acts 6:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] The word of God kept on spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were
becoming obedient to the faith.

Pagans/Gentiles also need to
be "obedient to the faith" and believe in Christ and what He has done for life and living.

Romans 1:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about
the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sake,

I will not speak a lie to satisfy you.

We need Jesus to be saved. We need His Holy spirit. We need to learn and walk with Him.

He will bring fruit.

That is all that is needed for salvation. Babes in Christ will have no works but are STILL SAVED.

I will NOT REJECT A CHILD OF GOD BECAUSE THEY CAN'T "prove" they are saved by their good works.

The only "proof" of salvation is the Holy spirit telling them they are born again children of God. They may not be perfect or sinless but the fact their sin troubles their heart is a sign that the Holy spirit is convicting and changing them.

I will give babes milk,

encourage toddlers to walk and develop fruit,

teach teenagers to read scripture, pray and eat meat

and help mature Christians learn what their spiritual gifts are and where in the Body of Christ they can bless others with their God given ministry, aka good works.

I will not tell babes in Christ they are not His Kids because they have no works to "prove it"
We all can have works to prove it.

I taught 6 year olds how to have works.

If they see a child in the Street, hurt, are they to help him or ignore him?

THAT IS A WORK.

It's absolutely necessary to teach children how God expects us to act and treat Others.

What "milk" do you feed them??

They know Jesus loves them.
How long does it take to teach that?

Jesus love me this I know,
For the bible tells me so...

NOW WHAT??

Brethren - we are not redeemed until our next failure. The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ speaks of better things.

We have eternal redemption
because of what Christ has already done and the fact that we are one spirit with Him. In Him we have eternal redemption through His blood - not by what we do or don't do.

Hebrews 9:12 (NASB)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

Ephesians 1:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

Colossians 1:14 (KJV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

We have = present tense - present tense is always present tense. When tomorrow comes - it will be present tense then too.

Does this make us want to go out and sin all we want? No, a thousand times No! Of course not - why?

Because "knowing this truth" releases the grace of God in our lives to operate to produce His life in and through us. Jesus said
"You shall know the truth and that truth shall make you free."

It's time to "repent and believe the gospel" like Jesus said in Mark 1:15. After all it is not called the "good news" for no reason.

We have a great and wondrous salvation but it is all in Christ and what He has already done. We receive this all by grace through faith. As we have received Christ - so we walk in Him in like manner.

it bothers you that dcon proves you wrong daily , doesn't it??
Yeah.
I love Dcon.
I wish he loved me back.

You know what bothers me about Dcon?
I wish he'd act like a Christian.
Something he seems to be unable to do.

He'd be so loveable if only he were nice....

NOW WHAT??
Now teach how the law leads folks to learn how they are a sinner in need of a Savior and can't be saved BY WORKS and what a true saving faith is.

A saving faith is more than that God loves them.

Do you truly not know what the milk is?

Works of righteousness is part of the Law (which is good when used rightly).... The law leads people to Christ but is not salvation or the gospel.

no, they are a result of salvation, they do not save or maintain salvation.

not by works which we have done, but by his mercy he saved us.

why is it so hard for people to ignore the true meaning of faith?
Sure works maintain our salvation.

Hebrews 3:12-14 New International Version (NIV)

12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14 We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.

Hebrews 4

11About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. 12For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, 13for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. 14But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.
Hebrews 6 ►
English Standard Version
1Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2and of instruction about washings,a the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3And this we will do if God permits.

Well I guess it explains alot...

The milk Babes need are

1. Repeentance from dead works (wow how fitting for this thread)
2. Faith towards God
3. Instructions about washing
4. Laying on of hands
5. Resurrection of the dead
6. Eternal judgement.

Not something that can be taught in one sentence responses.

God requires more than obedience.

Matthew 9:13 ►
New International Version
But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
....

How is that?
Mathew 9:13

Jesus was having supper at Mathew's house. Soon after many unsavory characters came in to sup with them. The Pharisees couldn't understand why Jesus was eating with them.

So thy asked Him why. Jesus said He came to save the sick, not the healthy. It's the sick who need a doctor. That would be sinners, of course.

Jesus was after mercy for sinners, not religion.
He was here to invite outsiders, sinners, to the table, He was not here to comfort those like the Pharisees.

So, what does this mean to you?
Frankly, I don't get it.
Maybe you could explain it?
