the sad part is, God did their job, they feel unworthy, they are convicted of sin, the helper did their job,

then her comes the churxh and destroys the good good work God did, all we can do is pray God exposes the truth to these kids, and they will find it..

EG,
The Holy Spirit's conviction of Sin would never make a sinner feel unworthy of Father or condemned by Jesus, would he?....Are you saying that the Helper makes a person feel unworthy before Father and this is conviction?

AM I reading you wrong here? Just need a clarification, because I do not think this is what you are saying, and I may be reading it wrong.

Romans 2.4 says:
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

Proverbs 16.6 says:
By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for,
And by the fear of the Lord one keeps away from evil.

The Holy Spirit's conviction of SIN, overpowers a person with such an overwhelming flood of love, mercy and grace for their condition as a sinner and then reveals to a person how their SIN and self righteous efforts have made them fall short before a living God.

The Holy Spirit uses his own fruit of the spirit to call to sinners and never would make one feel unworthy before God, he would reveal the condition, not make anyone feel unworthy, condemned or anything else.

These College kids do not feel unworthy because of the Holy Spirit conviction, they feel unworthy because of religious spirits in the church today.

dc - I am sorry. Obviously you are a case of being incapable of seeing an obvious conflict
of ideas.

Let me try it in a diagram

1..... (P + S) + (+/- F) + C <= God ok

2.... P + F + W + C <= God ok

P = person S = sin C = Christ F = Faith W = Washed clean

Now if sin is always present, then God is ok with it. ( easy version )
As long as you have faith at some point, you are safe.

Now scripture is simple. Cleansed and purified, made Holy before God, walking in faith
and knowing Gods love is acceptable and in His will to walk.

It is easy to dodge these issues, but I will let the light shine as long as it is day, and it
will just get brighter, for the cross brought us victory over sin and death, Amen.
All I see here is bloviated air......there is no light in this post....and my point stands.....here....one more time for you....

ALL the workers for who can lose salvation will say that we advocate sin......I have yet to figure out how lying and misrepresenting the facts and or twisting what is said helps their working for café blend salvation....it would seem that lying willfully would cause them to lose their salvation......

I hate to say this is a dumb comment, but blue, it is.

When babies are born they are dirty and need a wash.
Man is born separate from God and behaves as they feel like.
When man comes to God, they need to be cleansed. That means really cleansed and
purified, to know what love is and to be transformed.

All you are saying is we all have a potential to sin.
What I am saying is Christ in the Spirit gives you a way to stay clean.
It appears you prefer the wallowing rather than being cleansed. Got it.
and it appears that some would rather tell themselves they are clean, and deny, any dirt.

having a strong desire to be clean is a great thing, but carrying that desire to the point of denying the reality that we all ( you to ) have some dirt here and there is a bad thing.

Amen...and that is why I do not interact with those that are so deceitful in what they are saying. Paul says what to do with these types in Rom. 16;17

This type of behavior is no different then those living a homosexual lifestyle and thinking it is a great thing to do - because they are just "loving others". What nonsense.

They are in the same lists as "works of the flesh".
amen, he just made it to easy to pass up a chance to expose something

Well of course babies need a bath when they're born. They're covered with blood and umbilical slime.. I'm sorry you don't believe that we do still sin sometimes after we're saved, but it's the truth. Jesus says so.. I DO agree with you on the point that WE have a choice of staying clean-- it's called resisting sin. BUT we DO have the potential to sin. Some can resist, some cannot..

God us not OK, with sin, but God is OK with us. Upon acceptance of Him, He now accepts us, even in the midst of our sin.
The sin issue was resolved on the cross and He no longer holds it against us. Why are you so blind to that? Why do you always focus on sin, and not on the God that has resolved the issue of sin, so that we can walk in love with Him as our friend, as our guide, as our strength through this quagmire called life. If you believe He holds our sins against us, then you don't fully believe in His finished work on the cross.
All works-based belief systems do not understand the new creation in Christ. Nor do they understand spiritual circumcision.

This forces them to try to achieve by what they do or don't so - what Christ has already done.

It is a form of self-righteousness which actually nullifies the very grace of God needed to walk out what already is in our true self - our true identity in the Lord - new creations created in righteousness and holiness.

The true transformation of our minds being renewed to the truths of the realities of Christ completed work is paramount for walking by the spirit so that we don't fulfill the lusts of the flesh to do "it's" desires.

DOES no mean we won't still have the internal struggle.........but that we can overcome it.....

here is something else you sinless workers won't address- at my church, in a college town, many young people say in their testimony is " they feel unworthy and not good enough for God to accept them "

now, hand someone with this struggle a list of things they have to do and not do, with no love or compassion, is going to do what?? reinforce the feelings they already have, which could push them away from Christ for good. and who's fault would that be? the ones who gave them the works list. good luck with that on judgement day.........
After conversion, how long does your church wait before starting intentional discipleship of new baby believers?

You are just saying that because you love sinning and you are a defender of sinning....

I have dirt on me.. I need to take a shower and wash my hair. :p

Seriously though, on the point of Peter calling me dumb, I'd rather be dumb, rather than in denial, as he is..

Yet if you deny that the Holy spirit convicts believers of sin, isn't that the same as the some who "would rather tell themselves they are clean, and deny any dirt"?

Sometimes people mis-interpret what is really being said and other times they deliberately mis-represent what is said too, so I will say this to hopefully stop both from occurring.

Here is what I do when I sin.

I love to kneel quickly and tell my Father how I trust in Him. How what I did was wrong.

Sometimes I use the word sin and sometimes I don't. I think that is irrelevant. I run to my Father and tell Him how that His Son is my Lord and is my life and my righteousness - that Jesus' Blood has secured my redemption and forgiveness of sins. I confess what God says about me. I tell Him I love Him and trust in Him.

I have not asked for forgiveness in order to be forgiven for quite some time now because I believe in what Christ has already done for me on the cross and resurrection....but I always talk with my Lord about what I do or don't do.

You know - He always loves on me and tells me He loves me and that He is my life and strength. Sometimes I have felt a warm liquid like feeling of pure love fall on me and I just sit there in His presence and weep. I can't move a muscle. He is so mighty in power yet His love and total acceptance is the most overwhelming aspect of His presence.

To me - all sin is relational. All sin is a failure to see the life of Christ in me. I am ignorant of His life in me. To me - most outward sin is just a "fruit" of the real sin.

For example - If I steal something - that is a sin but
the real sin behind that is the failure to recognize my Father will take care of me. I am operating in the flesh. I want to take things into my own hand and "do" things.

The other part is when you see how horrid it really is when we mess up....sin....transgress.... whatever term you want to use.

..what I see is my unbelief in the goodness and love of my Father and Lord Jesus for me. That is the horrid part because I know that is not Their character nor is it really my true nature now and what He has made me in Christ.

Yes, he resorts to namecalling whenever his erroneous beliefs are exposed..

Peter is sinless, remember? Sinless people think they can do anything and not be rebuked for it.

Blue isn't dumb. She is beautifully and wonderfully made and much loved by God.

I try and not speak when I am mad...and folks calling my siblings false names makes me mad, so I wait and pray before speaking to them for a bit.

I like rainbows too. In fact I just ordered two pairs of chunky heel shoes with rainbow soles.. LOL.. Anyhoo, society sees those colors as representing gay pride, even though I don't.. To tell the truth, I'd be scared and mortified to wear my rainbow shoes out in public, cuz probably some religious nut would see them, think that I'm a lesbian who supports gay pride and target me for death.. It sounds silly, but seriously, a friend of mine (tried) becoming a man, and got murdered for it. :( She changed her name, took male hormones, and was about to have surgery to gain a penis, and someone beat her so badly that she died. They found her body on the street.. She was the one who gave me my Tequila kitty 16 years ago. :)

And on the doors of the churches they have signs that say something to the effect of, "all LGBTQ are welcome here"..
By the way...my like was abut the shoes......not the friend who was beat to death...tragic hey.....
