we are saved by God we receive eternal salvation from God because we have flowered the way we should after receiving his grace. its that simple.. if we stray he finds us and sees we are still baring his grace. as he says his grace is sufficient for you.. if you lose his grace thats your fault not his
We are saved by Gods grace because he loved us, And gave his life for us, And we have repented and come to an assurance he is trustworthy, and thus in faith, asked him to show mercy on us based not on what we have done, are doing or will do, but based on what he has done.

Nothing more nothing less..

Anything else is works which leads to legalism,

ok dude

1. Prove I have changed my view on the gospel
2. Prove I have attacked anyone, Saying I disagree with someone, and sharing an apposing view is not attacking anyone.

I will be waiting, And if you do not back up your claims, I will be reporting your slanderous post to the mods. I am sick of you people attacking others based solely on the fact they disagree with you.
I dont have to prove it you do that by your self as other member have pointed out the same changes in your beliefs as i have seen..and i really dont want to search your comments coz i really dont want to be afflicted by your grief and anger and your wrath..

Its not my fault you reject God truth and its not my fault your not happy with having sufficient grace and not full of grace..

Yep. Just as usual. When someone can not prove someone wrong they have to attack them.

1. Meggido did not prove his point
2. You are not proving his point
3. All you have both done is show how foolish we sound when we are just plain attacking someone..

As Ariel pointed out, I have ALWAYS maintained a person who has true faith WILL do work. You can not say you have faith in someone and NEVER do what they say, you would be deemed a liar.

So I would suggest you stop with the nonsense of trying to make me look bad, You are failing miserably, because you can not make someone look bad when you falsley accuse them, You make YOURSELF look bad.
ok so you recognise that we should bare fruits after being saved by Gods love (Grace)....

so please tell what happens to those who dont ? or where they never saved to begin with.. i just need clarification thanks

There is no problem with the above. God's grace has always been around, nobody has ever perfectly obeyed the 10 Commandments (except Jesus) and grace does not negate obedience. Short and sweet, plain and simple.
Who said someone has perfectly obeyed the 10 Commandments?
Did I??

You said Grace does not negate obedience.
Short and sweet.

I agree.

So what has the disagreement all this time been about????????

Nuff said.

P.S. In the parable of the sower, one of the seeds, BELIEVED FOR A WHILE.
JESUS said it, not anyone here. It was TEMPORARY belief.

Have a good day.

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

if it can be lost, it is not unmerited, it is merited based on whatever a person has to do to maintian it ,or keep it, or keep from losing it, period.

It is not merited.
Its merrited on His behalf

It can only be lost if a person does not believe (exercise the faith that comes from hearing God)

The work of Christ faith is not without the finished work of Christ. If he has begun the good work of His faith in us that both wills and performs his good pleasure he will finish it. He does not start a good work without finishing it to the end. So we are saved by works but not that of our own selves .If it was of ourselves we could have something to boast in.

now. lets get off this OSAS kick You are blinded by this thing called osas, and it has you unable to listen to a word anyone else has to say. Not what those in the Hebrews six boat offer.
We listen to what God informs us

Its not called OSAS its called redemption… Its not a down payment… see ya in purgatory.

Like what it says about those who crucify Christ over and over in respect to some dead work coming from a faith offered towards Christ and not the work of faith coming from Christ turning things upside down

Yoju want to talk about the gospel. lets talk. I am sick of talking about how works merit salvation and how OSAS people love sin. Both of which are not true.
..

OSAS people love that there sin is atoned for. It’s the better thing that accompanies salvation . Again a person must belive God if he is going to have any confidence in God. waht is some do not beleive by exercising working the faith that comes from hearing God . will they make the faith of God without effect or not do its work in the beleiver?

Philippians 1:6 "Being confident" of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

we dedicate are entire life to do Gods ministry..then we might get full of it ? or we do some of the works that stephen does and we get half of it..

Or Gods gives the amount of grace you need hmm i wonder which one will be chosen
or just trust God, and he will give us all of it (as for salvation)

of course your talking of punishment but God will only chasten those who are is,, will God chasten satan. ?

I believe in punishment spiritual prison etc.. but with a condition you have to have some Good or bare some fruits to be worthy of given a second chance after death in the Body..

However this opens the door to commit sin all your life.. so therefor this does not apply to those who dont bare any fruits what so ever..

The parable of the sower shows us that people who believe (in a shallow way) without a good and honest heart, and without having "root" do not experience real salvation, unlike the 4th soil.

But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root.." Problem from the start. Temporary shallow belief that was not firmly rooted or established from the start "has no root" represents rocky soil. Then we see the results of this. Temporary shallow belief that has no root, lacks moisture, produces no fruit and withers away is not saving belief.

There is a stage in the progress of belief in Jesus that falls short of saving belief that results in salvation. See John 2:23-25 in which faith was superficial, and in John 8:31-59 where the Jews who were said to have "believed in him" turn out to be slaves to sin, indifferent to the words of Jesus, children of the devil, liars, and guilty of setting out to stone the one they have professed to believe in. In John 6:60, we see that Jesus knew from the beginning who "do not believe" (John 6:64).
It should be simple. why people can not see it I do not understand

"They have no root"

The root is Christ, If we have no root, how can we say they are saved? The root of their faith is somethign other than Christ, That is why it can not keep them firmly grounded. and they fade away.

Have a good day.
Temporary SHALLOW belief that had no root, produced no fruit (faith without works is dead, right?) and withered away. That does not represent saving belief. In John 8:31, these Jews were said to have "believed," yet what did Jesus go on to say to them, all the way up to verse 59? Does that sound descriptive of children of God?

Well said!

In Him - we have redemption!

I dont have to prove it you do that by your self as other member have pointed out the same changes in your beliefs as i have seen..and i really dont want to search your comments coz i really dont want to be afflicted by your grief and anger and your wrath..
Again, I am worried about you.. I will lift you up in prayer my friend.

As for you having to prove it or not. You made the accusation, Thus you are bound to back your accusations wiht proof. otherwise they are just fluff.

Since yu can not back your accusations, Well, we all see the picture.

Its not my fault you reject God truth and its not my fault your not happy with having sufficient grace and not full of grace..
1. I am full of grace, again, that is why I am fully saved. Your the one who is depending on insufficient grace my friend
2. Another attack.. You have nothing to say but attack, mind if I ask why you are here?

tell me Did God love satan once ?

Satan was not born dead now was he?

Satan also is not offered grace and a chance to be saved now is he?

So your question concerning grace and satan is not valid.. is it?? You can not compare Satan and mankind.

nope you reap what you sow is all she was saying.. what you reap should be what you harvest from Gods grace because his grace is sufficient enough for you to do so..

yes because you where dead befor you Got connected to the vine..thats where you slip up because you dont seem to recognise that some fig trees will not produce figs even tho every effert was made for it to do so..

If God gets a sniff of a tiny little bit good in you he can go to work on that.. you may have come from an unstable tree that produces a bit of good fruit.. so you may not harvest verry well to begin with.. but just like we have regenerative cells Gods has regenerative branches

Agree

Its merrited on His behalf
It is merited only on his promise. His work, and his character

It can only be lost if a person does not believe (exercise the faith that comes from hearing God)
If being the key word,

1. It would never happen
2. God would not save someone he KNEW was going to give him the finger at a later date (he knows us better than ourselves)

The work of Christ faith is not without the finished work of Christ. If he has begun the good work of His faith in us that both wills and performs his good pleasure he will finish it. Amen, I agree again,, Not of works lest anyone should boast (basically be puffed up wiht pride or take credit for their own salvation)

We listen to what God informs us

Its not called OSAS its called redemption… Its not a down payment… see ya in purgatory.
Its called redemption, Atonement, Eternal life, Justification, Salvation,

OSAS is just a slang word for the term once a person is saved, their salvation lasts forever (once saved always saved) and it is based on fact. Now the calvin portion of it and how it happens may not be correct, but the actual wording itself is correct. Although i would prefer the terms Assurance in Christ, Eternal security etc etc.

I wish we would get off key words however, and just discuss what people believe.

Like what it says about those who crucify Christ over and over in respect to some dead work coming from a faith offered towards Christ and not the work of faith coming from Christ turning things upside down
Not sure exactly what you mean here.

Philippians 1:6 "Being confident" of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Amen, God will perform or complete it It does not say he might complete it, it says he will. We are saved with the hope that this will happen. If we do nto trust God can do this, our faith is not really in God.. if it is not in God, can our lack of faith save us?
