People with personality are so hard to find these days. Sadly, most milennials' personalities are as about as fascinating as watching paint dry. I guess it's good for people who are into simplicity. More complex life forms are generally older.

Hey...want some steak? ;)
Ummm, this would not ruin a date, but make it. Your avatar is creeping me out. How come this anime kid has pink eyes? Is she like an albino rabbit or something?

This thread is a little spin-off to Presidente's "Appropriate thing to say on a first date?"

I'll start it off.....

"Hi, I'm your date".

I am 79 and I remember those things called dates. I remember the hair raising on my arms as I first touched the girl that was my fancy. I remember the moment of the first kiss, when the stomach cramped with that explicit pain of pleasure. These things I remember, even now, and I am sad, but I am but very happy that I can still remember.

That love, that communication that takes no words is the most precious experience that one can have. It is so strong and so powerful that is burns for a time and then like a candle, fades, reduces in brilliance, reduces in intensity and so is must or one would expire from the sheer energy it takes to fuel that early, passionate and energetic love.

If you have been there and you are my age and you still remember, you have retained the one jewel that makes life worthwhile.
