Curry Blake has great teaching on this, and how we often pray for the sick when the Bible tells us to "lay hands on the sick and they shall recover", we are seeing the works Jesus did manifesting, if you aren't seeing them in your group, circle of believers, or life, he is a great one to learn from.

There are a lot of miracles everyday. God uses people everyday. Btw popular known preachers and healers such as Benny Hinn would be considered a great an example of witnessing miracles. Just because you haven't witnessed it personally doesn't mean they aren't any...there are many living witnesses and miracles...and God uses and calls many people to spread the Gospel and serve him.

Please look up Benny Hinn. He can heal like the apostles did. He really has the annointing...he can make a whole crowd drop just by laying hands on them. Btw, remember:

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." John 20:29

and remember that faith heals you.

Really? You don't see Binny Hinn as a charlatan, a fraud, and a hypocrite? I'm sorry to tell you sister, but you discernment meter is off, Benny Hinn is not a man of God, nor does he preach truth. I think you need to research him a bit better and maybe see that he has never healed anyone. I'm not saying this to be "mean" or attack anyone, but just because I love truth and have to point out the wolves.

BTW I agree with you in many ways, but if there were "a lot of miracles everyday", then how would they even be miracles, they would be "normals". I do believe there are miracles, the biggest is the transformation of a sinners heart, but I'm sorry what Benny does is not miracles it's manipulation.

Sassy I honestly don't want to be so offensive and make you think I'm just trying to be hateful and have a "bone to pick" with Benny Hinn. I want you to actually know where and why I feel he is wrong. Justin Peters has great videos exsposing some of the false gospel messages out there, but the video I'm posting is a bit long at 30 mins, and I usually don't even post videos to make points, but this is Justin talking to Bennys nephew Costi Hinn that traveled with Benny for years before our Father opened his eyes and showed him truth. Please take the time to at least look into it deeper even if you don't watch this or write me off as a hater.

Hey its cool I don't feel attacked at all. You say you think I need to research him a bit better, in actuality I don't make my views based on research or online I always ask God for discernment and always pray and talk to Him about always guiding me towards the truth. There are a lot of blogs and articles "exposing" these popular preachers because they are more vulnerable to such things.. but I always leave that to God. I really do believe that God is using Benny Hinn as a vessel...his teacher was also a popular healer as well "Kathryn Kuhlman" who I also feel she was given the anointing as well. I don't really know about Benny Hinn's preaching so I don't have a say on that, plus he's always been more of a healer than a preacher to me.

I think the OP was addressing just us common every day Christians. I see lots of posts about how so and so is hurting for several hundred years and no healing, etc....Why don't we see healing as a matter of course with every day Christians?

If resurrected dead threads were a Biblical miracle, we could have the issue settled for a lot of our posters.

There is nothing in the Bible that indicates that the Spirit would stop granting people gifts like the working of miracles in our era.

Why Don’t We See Miracles Like the Apostles Did?

Are we not Spirit filled like they were or is it from lack of faith, prayer, or fasting?

I believe we experience some miracles but nothing like they did.

It's important to have a understanding that the apostles were witnesses of the resurrection of Jesus.
So they had strong faith to believe and do miracles, rather than someone who has not seen. The same
Spirit of power they had, they were preaching to those around them and those who received there word,
received that same Spirit which comes from it. Yet they were not strong in faith as the apostles. So they had
to grow in it. Now from that time, though the church was continuing to grow, so was the rise of other religions.
The main problem I find with miracles today is that, the majority of many Christians are still babes in Christ.
They have accepted and received the Spirit but they are not operating by it, nor can they if they don't grow in
it. There are so many distractions in the world and if our mind is mostly carnal, than how can we expect to walk
in the Spirit and do miracles. Some people don't believe in miracles today, because of lack of seeing it. But if you
claim to be Christian then you should always believe in miracles and healing's and the power of God, whether you
see it or not. Some say they believe in Jesus, yet deny the power of God, which makes no sense because that's what
he is. Hebrews 13:8 says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. Therefore if Jesus healed then,
he would surely and does heal today. Some people have a form of godliness but deny the power as it says in 2 Timothy 3:5
Those people will never receive a miracle. They don't have the faith for it. I don't just believe because it's written,
but I have felt they power of God myself. So I personally know that it's real, as a lot of people have that I know.
It has nothing to do with God not wanting to do anything, but what we believe and how much faith we have.
Every Christian who has accepted Christ has received the same Spirit. That same Spirit by which not only created the
world but performs miracles and healing's. We have to grow into it and allow it to manifest more in our life. There is not
one born again Christian who lacks the ability or power to perform miracles and healing's. Those who do is because they
have the faith for it and those who do not, don't. We are told to desire spiritual gifts, not every one has them but each
one of us can attain them because we all have the same Spirit by which they are given.

All that is well and good, but whats our excuse for not believing?

Jesus and the apostles healed everywhere they went....and their fame was spread abroad....when I see a man walk into Childrens Hospital and heal every kid in there and then stop by the morgue and raise numerous people from the dead.....................................

If Benny really had the power to heal he would be out their healing not staying at his fancy "church building" and taking an offering FIRST.
Its all about money and wealth.

Nobody "has power" to heal, our Lord chooses to work "through" His own, to His glory and magnification.
I have seen healing through Benny Hinn's ministry, not that he is necessarily on track, but that our God can and does
honor the faith of the believer.
I, too, have doubt about the sincerity of his walk with the Lord.
The ministry of Curry Blake genuine and Bible based, lookup his you tube teachings and see if they resonate with you.
I believe we are seeing His miracles and healing, there have been ebbs and flows but He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.

Yes . I agree I never liked the fact that he ask for money. But God uses everyone...just like he uses the devil. I believe God gave Benny Hinn the anointing to heal..but obviously healing only works under Jesus's name and power and the faith of the person that wants the healing. We are only vessels. God gets all the glory and we are nothing without Him.

I understand what you're saying, and I agree, but you can't just ignore reality just because you "feel" a certain way. If that was how it worked then the Mormon church would be "true" too. We have to look at the actual claims and evidences and see if thier claims hold up.
John 4:1,2
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you will know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God

By the way I am really glad you were not offended by what I posted, and I truly appreciate how you responded. Thank you sister it feels really easy to have a conversation with you. :)
