no concerning God's word I stick to "Truth"if you interpret my posts otherwise, then so be it,I simply was answering questions through the holy spirit,I was not "railing" on anyone as some tend to do,my purpose is only to serve God with answering questions about his word, particularly "salvation" and "baptism" I focus upon when someone "requests" to "learn",I by no means choose anyone's side or "force" anyone to believe as I believe, for this is "wrong" and I "detest" such foolishness anyways, everyone has "choices" to make,my role mainly is to "answer" when someone has a question regarding God's word, tell people of "salvation" and "baptism" but only if they "request" to learn, and I'm especially glad to be able to answer through the holy spirit,I know not why only now God has given me his spirit so abundantly, but as his servant I will do what I can for him by "helping" whom seek him come to him, just as with Fran I have spent a few times of lack of sleep to answer her questions, just like this morning I took "time" to speak with her not out of malicious intent but rather compassion even though it was 5 to 6 am and I had work at 8am and got no sleep(already couldn't sleep)but since there was reason to answer through the holy spirit,I simply did,for though I was ragged I sought to do God's will, which is why I frequent so many times here as well as other sites,to be there for "anyone" who seeks to learn God's word, and especially if they wish to become closer with God.(my dear debate partner Fran as always you may format this post for me,I always appreciate it,just as I really look forward to your posts, they really are quite interesting, the tougher the question the more I feel compelled to answer, despite how I may sound at times,[every once in a while I know I sound sarcastic, but don't take that for mocking,I do respect your views,I just sometimes speak too quickly on some topics, which I'm trying to keep from such quick wit, noone is beyond correction including me of course,so I now leave most of what I say to God,especially concerning serious topics like,God's word]well I'll discuss with you later,God bless you!)
ok back to my "original" purpose for coming to this thread again,Fran I was wondering if you saw this post because I know many people seem to "rail"'on you,and I wanted to tell you that I don't do that sort of thing despite sometimes sounding perhaps witty at times.
ok once more Fran did you see my first post above?
thought you might appreciate the sentiment.

Yes again Fran; and one might ask why didn't Jesus just tell all this new-age magical mushy grace theology to the rich young ruler? But no He didn't do that, and the rich young ruler walked away sorrowful...be blessed

Great Point WB !!

Jesus said what had to be said,
He was not lukewarm.
Like the churches that teach fluffy stuff to get them filled up by people who do not want to hear about works.
Which is what Jesus spoke about ---

In speaking about "Greek" and Greek scholars - I find this hilarious.

There are Greek scholars that believe in speaking in tongues or healing and other subjects and there are Greek scholars who don't believe in it.

The hilarious part is that both groups use their "knowledge of Greek to prove their points."

Then they get into this "My Greek scholar is better than your Greek scholar and more "well-known" and accepted. ( Which usually means more accepted in their own ranks that believe the same things they do. )

We are just as dependent on the Holy Spirit to reveal Christ and what He has already done in His finished work on the cross and resurrection in the scriptures as Mary was dependent on the Holy Spirit to conceive Jesus in her womb.
WHICH IS WHY WE SHOULDN'T BE DISCUSSING GREEK.

Thanks for agreeing with me.
It's rather refreshing.

What's the difference between salvation and being in the Kingdom?
We all know what salvation is.
John 3:1-6
Jesus is explaining to Nicodemus what it means to be born from above, or to be born again in the spirit.
We're born once physically, of water, ** dead to God, and then we can be born also spiritually.

In John 3:3 Jesus tells N that unless a person is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.

So the Kingdom must be a real thing that exists right here and now.

Jesus is the King of the Kingdom.
He rules it.
It's a place, a dimension of love, understanding and living with God. Not like heaven because we cannot be that perfect since we're in our flesh, but this relationship with God does start here in THIS Kingdom.

ALL born again believers that adhere to the rules of Jesus belong to His Kingdom.
He describes it in every gospel and is the one thing He mostly talks about.

If one does NOT adhere to the rules, can he still belong to the Kingdom?

No.
Why?

Can a person who does not obey God go to heaven?
Can an unbeliever in what Jesus taught go to heaven?
Can a disrupter of heaven be allowed in?

NO to all three.

So, Salvation is getting saved.
And then we live in the Kingdom...
For as long as we want to stay there.

Our actions and our behavior are our sign as to whether or not we belong in the Kingdom of God.

IF we're born again, we will seek to please our King,
if we are not, we'll look for every reason NOT TO OBEY HIM.

The Kingdom is a real place.
We need only to read the gospels.
This is mostly what Jesus spoke of.

Sorry Magenta,

You don't understand about the Kingdom either, do you?

I wonder if anybody on this thread does.

I know a couple do because I've heard from them.

I'm not wasting my time here with it for persons who are not interested.

For those who are, I've said where the posts will be.

She asked three times.....I thought you were smart enough to know the difference between a question and a statement!!
Cutie is back.
What a thrill it is to see you here at last.
Been waiting all day.

Let me ask you something serious, as you would say.

Can you not tell if someone is a JW?
I can.

Why ask someone if they're a JW when IT'S CLEAR that they're a born again Christian???

Is this the problem with your club members?
They can't even distinguish a Christian from a JW??!!

Mabye you could do some lessons.
I'm sure they'd listen to ya.

And the gals would be happy to attend.
You're sooooo cute.!

Can't get over it...
What a sinner.

Oh my.

I thought you were smart enough to now the difference between a JW and a Christian.

That's MORE IMPORTANT than knowing the difference between a question and a statement.
But then again, my English is sooooo bad.

But my eyes are good and you're sooooooo cute.
